We had the Chicago deep dish pizza and the garlic knots, and as someone who's had all the best Chicago pizzas, this place ranks right up there with them. But more importantly, the garlic knots were TO DIE FOR; they are hand pulled, deep fried, and covered with loads of garlic and herbs. A must try. Located in a small shack about 30 minutes away from Grand Teton national park, and 12 from Jackson, it gives a super chill vibe. Jason was an incredible cook and host, making good conversation and providing waiter like service at a counter service restaurant; he even remembered us from the night before when we weren't able to wait for food. Make sure you call ahead if you plan on ordering a pizza (normally a 45 minute wait but worth every second) 100/10 will be back when we return to the Tetons.

We pulled up around 5pm and while it was busy (it always is) we found an indoor table against the glass with that incredible view. Starving we both ordered 12" pizzas. I stacked veggies on a NO CHEESE pizza and my hubby got the Static Peak, both with iced teas. The pizza was INCREDIBLE! The crust is delicious and fresh, so good! Unsure what bison is supposed to taste like, but it was yummy. And we had 3 of their specialty pizzas including the Mount Owen, The Grand, and Static Peak. I was extremely surprised that a single bread roll costs $4 like I understand this is Jackson but that is just robbery. My pastry was also dry and there was nothing special about it. Even at the cash register nobody asked me how my day was going they just said "is that it? We were in Jackson for 4 days and we found ourselves in The Bread Basket 3 times. It's a Mexican bakery and we tried just about everything in the cases. We bought a bunch to take home with us and share too. Everything was so delicious. My favorite was the flakey pastry with spiced apple filling. They don't skimp on the filling! It was perfect. We also brought home a bunch of tamales, oh my gosh, they are sooo good try the Salsa Verde con Pollo. Spicy deliciousness. Because everything in the national parks were closed, if you're going to be in the park all day you must bring your own food. We ordered their sandwiches for one of our Yellowstone trips. (BTW Yellowstone was virtually empty of people, see my review for Yellowstone for more info). The sandwiches were gourmet wonderful. I ordered the turkey with pesto, brie and dried cranberries on a fresh ciabatta type bread. Perfect. The staff is friendly, the shop is clean.
