    Turkey mushroom burger yummy!
    Lynne A.

Came here for lunch with friends, our last day here. You order at the register and they bring to your table. I had the turkey mushroom burger very juicy and delicious with a side salad. My friend had chicken tacos and said they were very good with a berry smoothie. My other friend had the salmon with brown rice and veggies and said It was great! Hibiscus tea is very different but tasty. Good place, fresh and delicious, I would come again for sure!

As a Californian travelling for work to Minnesota, I have learned through trial and error NOT to order certain things while in Minneapolis: avocado toast and raw fish. Peoples Organic has taught me that. The avocado toast was delicious, a wonderfully healthy and savory collection of multi-grain bread, feta cheese, sriracha aoli, spinach, a runny egg, and a thin spread of what's more like avocado jam or spread (o, that's right! Avocado jam is called guacamole. They should rename this entree to Guacamole Toast). Not the thick, fresh chunks of avocado I am accustomed to on avocado toast. I do like People's Organic and will come again. I will just stick with what they are good at, including the wild rice chicken soup and crackers (burnt Parmesan), both of which were DELICIOUS.

The restaurant itself does not look like much when you pass by but it is super tasty! The menu has a solid amount of variety and I was happy with the quality of the food. Although the food is on the pricier end, the restaurant itself had a nice seating area and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Great lunch spot if you're strolling around Uptown and are looking for something on the healthier side!

(Top) Breakfast bowl minus rice (bottom) Roasted beet salad with chicken. *note beets are yellow not red beets*

Looks can be deceiving when walking into this cafe. However all the fresh and healthy food options are not. So fresh and delicious, I ordered with my friend who has an eating restriction and needs protein primarily. We were able to order her a breakfast bowl from their menu and just omit the rice and a Berry Bliss protein shake. For myself I did the coco antioxidant shake, Roasted beet salad and added chicken. The food was a little pricey but the portions and quality for the most were reasonable. The protein powder is Isagenix and although higher in sugar then we would have liked, the shakes were super delicious! We'd definitely come back again.

Northern California wrap. Subbed a side soup (chicken wild rice) for + $2

I'll just leave this here... the chefs at Peoples Organic were Prince's personal chefs. And, they state on their site: "At Peoples Organic we celebrate the simplicity of nutritious and organic food, pure water and healthy beverages. We practice sustainability and support our local & organic farmers." Hey, Peoples Organic, I value your values! For food, I've recently gotten their Northern California wrap which is: grilled local chicken, avocado, roasted tomatoes, tomato aioli sunflower sprouts, romaine, in a 100% sprouted organic tortilla. Probably one of my fave wraps because it was delicious yet guilt-free. I love that they roast their tomatoes, which makes them more flavorful and less acidic. Their chicken wild rice soup is great too. It's a little tad creamy but not too rich. I hate when I get a creamy soup and it comes out like hot paste, ugh. You can substitute soup for salad for a small additional cost. I also have enjoyed the mean coconut curry that they serve at Paisley Park, which could convert anyone to vegetarianism!

    Sweet green tea matcha latte

They have to fix 2 things before I come back here. I recently tried out this place because I was meeting a friend who lives in Minnetonka. THE FOOD: I actually really liked the Sweet Green Matcha Latte. It is sugary and you can taste the matcha without it being overpowering so if I wanted to, I could have chugged a couple of these. The flatbread was nothing special, but not bad. WHAT TO FIX: (1) The gnats were ridiculous here, and it's late October! There were so many that bugged us the entire time that we were constantly waving our hands in front of our faces and around our food. From afar, we probably looked completely out of our minds! They were distracting, disgusting, little buggers that were the bane of my existence throughout my meeting. (2) There is a salad called "Buddha" which doesn't make any sense. All the ingredients are just regular vegetables. The only thing "different" is that it includes brown rice and actually Buddha is from what is currently Nepal where they generally eat white rice so yeah, overall that seems inappropriate and something that could easily change. I provided this feedback to my server who replied, "well the other stores use the same name for the salad so [trails off]..." Other than this exchange though, the server was thoughtful and friendly. If they make these simple changes, I'll gladly come back for the matcha lattes. If you go to this spot, please provide feedback on the Buddha salad name and/ or give me a heads up if it ever changes!

Quinoa bowl with added chicken ($10+$4) and the bison burger in the background ($10-$11)

Pretty standard health-focused cafe tucked in a corner of Calhoun Square. They have a variety of dishes from breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, to salads and they also serve beer, wine, and coffee as well. We ordered the buffalo burger and the quinoa bowl. The food was decent although on the higher end of pricing- especially considering it is a counter service cafe. The seating inside the restaurant is incredibly cramped, but they do have some tables outside the cafe inside Calhoun Square. Service was friendly. Looks like they do have HH though, which I may be back to try out.

    Breakfast Bowl

Brunch after a brisk walk around the lake in Uptown was a success! I love People's Organic for their healthy food choices! The menu offers a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. For beverages, there are various coffee drinks and teas. I love how they offer complimentary sparkling water! On this visit I had the breakfast bowl which included; eggs, spinach, rice, black beans, sweet potatoes, and sour cream. This bowl was delicious!! I threw some hot sauce on there and I was satisfied! To drink, I had coffee which offered the perfect balance of boldness and flavor. The seating area inside is not very big. Expect to order at the counter then find your seat. I think I like the location in Edina better just because it's a bit bigger and they offer outdoor seating. People's Organic is a good place to grab something on the go or dine inside. Check it out for yourself!

Breakfast bowl (no spinach) + apple butter French toast. Mmmmm.

My boyfriend and I came in for breakfast today since we had a coupon. We were greeted right away and we didn't wait long to get our food. They have quite a variety of all-day breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. I ordered the breakfast bowl - scrambled egg, pick de gallo, avocado, brown rice, and black beans. It was supposed to come with spinach but I didn't feel like eating my greens so early. The beans were a little dry and the bowl didn't have a ton of extra flair or flavor, but that just seems to be the case sometimes when you try to eat healthy. My boyfriend ordered the French toast with granola and apple butter. It was light and fluffy with a perfectly crispy edges. There was just enough apple butter and it was topped with blueberries for a little extra sweetness. The syrup was an extra .50 so it's nice that you don't get charged if you don't use it anyway. The service was prompt and one of the servers came over right away to clear our plates when we were done. It looks like they have a pretty decent happy hour, with $2 off all beers + wines and $5 apps like sliders, a cheese sampler, hummus, and a couple flatbreads. Not to mention a $5 champagne mojito that I'm quite intrigued about. This looks like a great place for a meal with friends or family, not necessarily a place where you'd want to sit and do work for an extended time as the wifi in the shopping center is slow and there's not many outlets available for computers if needed. Despite not being wowed by my meal, I'd certainly come back. You can't judge a meal if it wasn't made the way it was intended and the menu is so large that there's a ton of other things that caught my attention. To be continued!

The picture is of the Classic Breakfast (incredible) but the real hidden gem here is the Grilled Cheese which I couldn't bring myself to order at 11:30AM, but I was close. Highly recommend!

Visited Minnesota today , my friends live around the block and told me this place has great organic fresh food so I said why not giving a new place a try especially when I'm not local . The place location is central , looks clean and real cozy , even though I'm not a big fan of the design , green isn't my color I ordered the quiche, I asked the lady at front what's in it she said it's veggie, I was happy , I'm not eating meat lol . My friend ordered the omelette with potatoes . I received my order and took a small bite , guess what ? It had a bacon on top of it , I asked the girl again what's in it ? She answered the same as before , I told her do you want to try it cause it's not veggie at all and you just made me eat something I don't eat for years !!! She was like ok I'll switch it without even apologizing for her mistake . I lost my appetite, my friend's omelette want Herod either , the potatoes were soaked, the all experience was bad bad bad Not coming back ever !

I found myself in uptown with some time on my hands and wanted breakfast. People's Organic seemed like a good solid logical choice so I sauntered on in. I was able to order up a delicious breakfast sandwich of bacon, eggs, roasted tomato, cheese, and avocado. The avocado was brownish in color which means it was exposed to the air too long it happens but not the most appetizing thing to present to a customer on a sandwich that cost 10.00. I got a small glass of sparkling wine and they were not very generous on the pour. I think that was approx. 8.00. I enjoyed sitting by the sunny window and people watching. The employees seemed to move a little on the slow side too.

    Fish tacos
    Jacqueline S.

Good, clean food, but leaves something to be desired in terms of flavor/flair. The service was solid. The menu is large and breakfast is served all day (always a bonus in my book :) It took about 10-15 minutes for the food to cook, but it's worth it since it all came out hot and fresh. The servings were generous, which makes the slightly steep prices worthwhile. The rehash: I got the veggie hash with organic eggs, which was light and fresh. The seasonal veggies were seasoned nicely with rosemary. But the veggies combined with the plain eggs and rice left some flavor to be desired to tie the dish together. One friend had the macro bowl. There was a nice variety of raw and cooked veggies, but the sauce wasn't very flavorful. Another friend ordered the fish tacos which she said were well cooked, but also a little plain.

The latte came garnished with rose petals and was not too sweet. It was a nice way to start my meal. Then came the sweet potatoes, and oh my God, I think they were the best sweet potatoes I've ever had. They were unbelievably, delectably sweet and cooked perfectly. They had an excellent char while being soft on the inside. And the sweetness was complemented nicely by the maple chili crisp, which had just a bit of a kick. The bison skirt steak tacos were also delicious. The bison was so tender and juicy. Full of flavor and cooked superbly. My server wasn't kidding when she said the tacos were big enough to share between a few people. I ate the tacos by myself, and I was beyond stuffed. Alas, I wasn't a big fan of the spoonbread. The flavor wasn't bad, but I didn't care for the texture, which was a little too coarse for me. The dessert was gluten-free, and I could REALLY tell. It was also too spicy for me. The spoonbread was drenched in hot honey. But the sweet potatoes, tacos, and attentive & friendly service more than made up for it. The restaurant isn't cheap (especially for a solo diner), but I've seen worse prices for worse food. And I'm eager to check out their new location the next time I'm in Minneapolis. Note - if you pay with a credit card, it does come with a 3% fee.

I happen to know folks who need to avoid gluten. I am good having gluten, but I was curious to check this place out. I tried earlier this year. Sadly, when I got to the food court, this stall was closed. On October 1st, after attending the Jason Show as a studio audience member, I headed over to the food court to try my luck again. It was roughly 11:30 am. This food stall was open. Yay! The nice man behind the counter was wonderful and patient as I figured out what I wanted. I got the following items: - Medium Diet Coke - Crispy fish sandwich with coleslaw I paid with a credit card. Done! He asked for my name for the order. I waited patiently for my order as it was being made. It didn't take long. I got my Diet Coke first. I sipped it as I waited for my food. He put my food in a container box and put this box on a tray.
