Instant oil change places aren't known to be the best places to get your oil changed so my review…read moreis based with that in mind. The staff was friendly and they performed the oil change. They tried to upsell me on a bunch of stuff, which is to be expected in these places. I knocked them off a star because I had a warning light when I went in that one tire was low on pressure. They never checked the tire pressure, so the light was still on when I left. However, the receipt said they checked my tire pressure and that it was good. You don't really save money here. They charged the same as the dealership and give less service for it. But, no appointment is needed and you get to sit in your car while they do the work. I don't think I will use this place regularly, but I might come back in a pinch if I need a quick oil change and do t have time to go elsewhere.

Camarillo Valvoline: Service you can't see…read more Experts you should NEVER trust. I have add two separate incidents at this Valvoline that will ensure I will never come back. The first occurred in January of this year when I went in for service and (against my better judgment) opted for a tire rotation. We left the shop thinking everything was fine and got a call from the tech saying that the tires have not been fully torqued and they could potentially fall off. They said they would come and find us, so they proceeded to drive to our location. Luckily we hadn't driven far and we were attending a wedding reception nearby but we had to deal with this in the midst of that. This is a egregious safety violation and could have resulted in our harm. The service technicians were very apologetic and nice however it is still highly unacceptable and dangerous. Valvoline gave us a free oil change, in exchange for our near-death experience. The second occurred today when having gone into this Camarillo location. Several things: -They didn't check my lights yet I saw on their checklist that they marked they were good . -They didn't check my tire pressure at the beginning of the service so I had to ask. -I wasn't shown my air filter. I had to ask them about it at which they said my air filter was "underneath my vehicle". This is blatantly false, and a straight up LIE. I removed the air filter myself after the service and this is the result. -I asked for a printed receipt, they never provided. THIS WILL BE THE VERY LAST TIME I EVER TAKE MY VEHICLE HERE. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. HORRIBLE. They couldn't care less and just want to get you out as quickly as possible.

I have been going there for my car care needs for over 20 years. They offer great service and their staff is very friendly and they're great at explaining very technical issues. They also offer a free shuttle service if you need a ride, although it isn't always available, particularly late in the day. And also please note they are not open on weekends. One thing to keep in mind is the old saying "you get what you pay for" is very true here. On one hand, they are a bit on the expensive side. So, if you just need an oil change you can find another place that can do it for a lower price. However, if you have a serious issue with your car I can't think of a better place to take it. I've found their work is really good so it works out in the long run since you won't have to take your car back multiple times. Plus, you can get an oil change too if you need one. Juan taped the AutoZone receipt to the battery so I could use the warranty. 18 months later the battery dies so I call to use the warranty and the lady who answers the phone screams at me that they won't authorize and hung up on me 5 times. They told me to bring the car in. I said I live 300 miles away. They mockingly said I should buy a new battery, drive my car 300 miles, and they will give me the replacement. NEWS FLASH IDIOTS: that's breach of contract and saying that gave me standing the sue the **** out of you. Yes the staff there are actually this f***ing dumb and they think they're smart LOLLLLLLLLLL. So I sent a demand letter telling them I'm about to sue the **** out of them. Juan calls me 3 days later and apologizes, says she doesn't know how to run an office, and authorizes the battery replacement. Everything was fine, but 3 and a half weeks later this dumb lady answers the demand letter with "Good luck with that". Just look at the screenshot. She didn't even know the issue was settled and she has zero emotional regulation or thinking ability. I was the only customer their, and it took them a good 3hrs to mount 4 tires…read more The balancing, they only balanced the front tires, with the hammered on weights that don't belong on the outside of a aluminum rim. It looked like an idiot did the balancing. Standard is to put the stick on weights hidden on the inside of the rim. They didn't do any balancing on the rear tires. Hard to believe the rear tires were perfect, and didn't need to be balanced. I brought my own new tires. They charged me $125 to mount 4 tires. I'll never go there again. Maybe different at other locations, but I would advise to stay away from the telephone rd location.
