I go to Valvoline basically religiously for my oil changes so I'm used to their operating methods. I travel all over so this was my first trip to this location. 1. After I had my service I was told they don't accept the company coupons. I had just gotten a coupon in the mail the week prior for $25 off my oil change. They wouldn't accept it. So now I'm there with my service completed and I have to pay full price. 2. The guys took FOREVER to get us in and done (50min just waiting to pull in). I realized after I got in why, they tried to offer me NO JOKE... 5 different additional services and this was adding much more time to the flow of people who just want to pop in for a quick oil change. I get that you're trying to offer more services and all that but you're not an automotive repair shop and that's why people go through a quick oil change place like this... so you can get in and out without it being 90min ordeal. I will continue to go to Valvoline but definitely not this location

Each time took only a few minutes and they took me immediately. My older car has some minor issues that other mechanics have gotten hung up on (which has led to me being really nervous to go to inspections at all) but these guys didn't give me any issues. Besides, the shop has a great vibe and has a bunch of funny posters to cheer you up. If the older car has any issues that need work (I'm certain it will) I'd be happy to take it here. Only thing to be aware of is that they ask for cash for under 25$.

After discussion, the manager agreed to cover it. However, this left me questioning the clarity of their previous service descriptions. While the car was in the shop, they recommended replacing the rear sway bar. The estimate instead referenced "rear suspension" at around $700, even though I had replaced the full suspension (front and rear) only two years ago. Again, they stated the prior work did not cover this component. These inconsistencies have seriously damaged my trust. When I returned to pick up the car, an employee handed me a broken key (the electronic component had detached). Staff then made rude comments, suggesting I find another service center and telling me they no longer wanted me as a customer. A manager joined the conversation and the interaction became confrontational. The main issues appear to be vague terminology, poor communication about what parts are included in repairs, and unprofessional handling of customer concerns. As someone who is not a car expert, I felt misled and no longer confident in the services I had paid for over time. This experience has cost them a long-time loyal customer. Missed 3 drop dead deadlines I need to have that car back for medical appts. Friend drove me over to the shop to check on the car, they thought that night or next business day. Nope. Did not discuss how to repair new problem they say they found, need for new catalytic converter. Arguing with parts company that sent wrong part to determine who is at fault but not getting the part or keeping me informed. Customer since about 2016 and they have repaired 100 cars ahead of mine in the second half of July. Would you trust them or risk them doing this to you, randomly?

I said no and took it to the Honda dealer. I asked them to check that and do the alignment if indicated. They did the alignment without replacing the outer and inner tie rod. Classic example of chain shops (Firestone, Pep Boys etc) often recommend "replace both inner and outer" as a package deal. NOT GOING BACK TO A GARAGE THAT SCAMS ME.
