    Where's the grill?
    Teresa M.

The whole point of pepperjax is to watch them cook your food on the grill in front of you. To choose your toppings as you like. To watch it being made. To make sure they give you enough rice. This new one does none of that. It's all behind closed walls. I almost walked out. No one greeted me and they acted like I was a bother. I would get rid of the drive thru to get the old way back. Not a fan, won't be back.

Wasnt too bad. Like the fact they have Dorthy Lynch available as a sauce topping. Thought it crazy to order online and it showed it would be an hour before it would be ready for pickup. Once I arrived, called the store and told them what spot I was in and they were right out. They forgot silverware and napkins.

Spoiled brown lettuce and some veggies to cover up that it's spoiled.

Yet another bad experience at this location. I need to learn after the 1st time. Went here about a month ago to grab a salad in the drive thru. I hadn't been there in a while, but the girl on the mic was patient and friendly when I got to the window. I ordered a salad and a couple of raw veggies (I like that they offer cooked or raw). When I got to work and took out the food, I was so disappointed and I had to throw it away. For a place that partially specializes in salads, you think the lettuce would be fresh. I got brown, wilted, spoiled lettuce. And on top of that, the onions look raw, but the rest of the veggies were cooked. So upsetting and a waste of money.

Do yall see this DRY ass sub???? Meat and cheese that's it! What you see is exactly what I received & I'm still in disbelief. I even called before placing my order to make sure the Junior Philly came with all the fixings such as onions, bell peppers ect as shown on the picture. She told me it did and the only thing that was different was the size. Unfortunately I ordered through door dash and couldn't get the $20 i spent back. The lady was nice and apologetic when I called to inform her however, she told me I had to go back through door dash. This place has really good reviews so I was really looking forward to this but instead it's still sitting on the counter. I won't be ordering from here again unless I'm at the restaurant. I'm not saying you shouldn't try this place out... just sharing my experience.

The delicious double meat, fireball steak sub....

I went to this PepperJax last week with some co-workers and it was awesome. I've been to the PepperJax in Council Bluffs before, but this was about the third time coming to this location. I walked in, waited in line for a few minutes, and then the gentlemen asked me what I wanted. He was really nice and inviting. I got the Philly Steak Gunnar Fireball, which is double meat and cooked in jalapeno juice. The sandwich was about $10 but was awesome. Double meat is an extra $3.80, well worth it in my opinion. I also grabbed an order of fries. This time the fries didn't feel like they were cooked enough. They were a tad soggy and not super appetizing. I should have taken them back and asked for a fresh batch but was too hungry to wait. All in all, it was a good experience minus the fries. I am definitely going to go back again for some double meet philly steaks!

Very very disrespectful staff. My husband was refused service because he forgot his mask so he left the store and returned with a mask, then they said they refused to serve him because he's disrespectful. Yet the staff flipped him off and cussed at him Because he started to record the interaction asking why he couldn't get service they were Saying "Get the Fuck out of my store". I have a video of them flipping him off and cussing at him probably better off that I cannot upload. Will never visit this location again.

Philly and rice bowls are great. Recommend going inside as drive through is very slow- 10-15 minute wait on average.

My wife and I both ordered the Everett's #2 with pulled chicken, coleslaw, and BBQ sauce. Everything just worked together perfectly. The chicken was tender, the slaw added the right crunch, and the bun tied it all together. It was one of those sandwiches where after the first bite you just look at each other and know you made the right choice. We also ordered the Saucy Rossy wings and they were the perfect heat level for both of us. Not so mild that they're boring and not so hot that you're suffering. Pro tip: get them fried and grilled. The extra texture and flavor are absolutely worth it. My wife is a total Brussels sprouts snob and she was absolutely in love with theirs. The funny part is that I'm usually not much of a Brussels sprouts person, but I kept asking for more off her plate. That alone should tell you how good they were. The fries were okay. Nothing that stole the show, but nothing to complain about either. The service wasn't the best during our visit, but they also had a 30-person table they were dealing with, so it was completely understandable. Even with that, the food was so good that it's already a top 3 meal for my wife. We'll definitely be thinking about those sandwiches, wings, and Brussels sprouts until we're back, and I don't think that'll take very long.

Most of our group had been to Cheddar's before, and we were all excited to try some new menu items. Overall, the food was a hit. The onion rings came out hot and fresh, the lemon pepper chicken was especially juicy, and the white fish ended up being another favorite at the table. That said, there were a few service missteps that took away from the experience. Two people in our group ordered the white fish blackened, but only one plate came out as requested--the other was pretty bland. When our server eventually checked in (a bit later than expected), we mentioned the mix-up. His response was pretty casual, something along the lines of there just being less spice, and he didn't offer to fix it or have it remade. We ended up just swapping a fillet between the two plates so each person had one blackened and one not. It worked, but it felt like something that should have been handled differently. There were also a few moments where drinks went empty for a while, and our server wasn't around much. At one point, a manager actually stepped in and refilled waters for the table, which we appreciated. Overall, the service felt very laid-back...but to the point where it came across like he didn't care. One bright spot worth mentioning: my salad came out before the meal with a lot more cheese on top than I expected. As I was picking some off onto a side plate, a manager happened to notice and stopped to ask if I'd prefer a new salad without cheese. I explained it wasn't a mistake, just more than I wanted, but I really appreciated the attention and the offer to make it right.

We didnt know what to expect as we have never been to a Charleston's. It was nice, clean, and fancier than I thought it would be. The bartender was friendly and attentive and we were served right away. They have really good happy hour drink deals. 8 diff cocktails all $8 each. I got the crisp martini and my husband got the old fashioned. Both were good but the old fashioned was a little too sweet. For our appetizer we got the shrimp carrot which was super buttery and cheesy. We also split the flat iron steak special. We ordered it medium rare and it was more of a medium well. It was on the salty side and the steak had the same texture as ham or like a school lunch meat....something about it reminded me of a jerky too. It was interesting and didnt taste bad but unlike any steak texture I've ever had. It cost $29 so wasn't expensive for a steak but I guess we should've gone next door to Mahogany Prime if we wanted good steak or even Texas Roadhouse up the way. Even though we were disappointed with the steak we still had a great time. Will def come back and try a salad or the chicken piccata. Based on the steak, I would give the review a 3 but bc everything else was great, leaving it at a 4 bc I think we just ordered the wrong thing.

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at this restaurant. I ordered a margarita with…read moreno salt, but it was brought out with a salted rim, and I can see that salt dripped into the drink. I asked for it to be remade. What happened next was unacceptable. I watched the waitress take the drink back to the bar, where the bartender (with his hair parted in the middle) poured the margarita out of and over the salted rim, into a different glass instead of making a new one. That same drink was then brought back to me. This isn't just poor service, it's a serious health and safety concern for me. There is a reason I asked for no salt. Rather than admitting a mistake and correcting it properly, they chose to cut corners and hope I wouldn't notice. If I hadn't seen it happen, I would have unknowingly consumed something I specifically asked to avoid. There were other issues during the visit, but this alone is enough to ensure I won't be returning. Trust is critical when dining out, and unfortunately, this experience showed that it's lacking here.

I don't want to sound like an over entitled west coast food snob, but I'm afraid if I typed that it's already too late- but, I've been to the Bagel Bin, I've been to Brueger's (sp?) and I've tried a lot of bagels around Omaha and nothing was quite what I could find at home or in other metro areas, then my daughter introduced me to Know Good and I'm hooked. So delicious. The bagels are bagel-y not bready, the coffee is craft, the dining area is clean and simple, I can see the kitchen which is spotless- this is not just a good bagel shop for Omaha, this is a bagel shop that rivals just about anything I've been to anywhere. (Slight caveat, the lox is not comparable to the lox in NYC, but I don't think that really exists anywhere. Yes, I know, more coastal elite pretentiousness on my part, I'm sorry.) Staff were professional, not overly chatty, but that's not what we were looking for- they knew the menu, had suggestions, were pleasant. Seriously, the last time I was in town I stayed for a week and I came here three times, that's about the highest praise I can give.
