Well sometimes you just have to walk out of a restaurant and this was one of those. Me and friends decided to try out this new place and were quickly sat down and then completely ignored and forgotten for 10 minutes, so we walked out. If you are going to charge on average $10 per taco... maybe just maybe make your guests know that eventually you'll get to them. It was like we sat in a dead zone between 2 servers that decided our table was not their table. Probably won't go back or try again, don't even think they noticed 4 people just get up a leave... thanks for the lukewarm water and ignoring 4 people. Were we not dressed fancy enough for you to give a shit? 0/10 don't recommend, they will be out of business when the new wears off, there's plenty of friendly Mexican food places in town that are priced better and actually take care of customers. read more

We have come here a few times now. Once for dinner, once for lunch and last time for drinks. The place is decorated nice and the vibe is really fun but easy to miss if you don't know it's in the back of the building behind another restaurant. They don't have a lunch menu so dinner pricing makes for an $$$ lunch. The food is pretty good but the portions are small. We also ordered chips and salsa and the salsa was a bit spicy so I guess we ate more chips than salsa. We asked the server if we could get more chips but she said we had to buy another order of chips and salsa to get them. Kind of ridiculous. It wasn't worth it because the salsa was not that good. We all drank our water right away and sat with empty glasses the entire time. On our first visit here, we had drinks and dinner. I ordered a skinny marg and it was like drinking straight lime juice! It was awful! I had the others taste it to make sure it wasn't just me and the consensus was it was not worth the heartburn it would cause! . I switched to the elderberry drink and it was really yummy. Fajitas for one was a good portion for one female. A guy may have been disappointed. Another person ordered enchiladas and they were very small and not hot. You could tell they were made in advance and meant to be reheated. Another entree was the carnitas and his feedback was 'they were ok'. I'm super happy we have a new place in the area and hope they will add some lunch menu items and take into consideration how small the portions are compared to the prices. What a cool place! My daughter chose this new restaurant to celebrate her birthday and we went on a Monday night. We had a reservation but there were plenty of tables open. I imagine it'll be hoppin' on the weekends once the word gets out. This place has such an upscale but casual vibe. Completely new interior as it took over the back section of the much larger CB&Potts on 120th in Westminster. The service was top notch and highly attentive complete with an explanation of their scratch kitchen concept and menu recommendations. We even had a visit from the manager to check in on our experience. The food was delicious, particularly their fried carnitas which were very tender and flavorful. Their homemade salsas and sauces were spicy and full of bold flavors. We went with the pitcher of house margaritas and those were super fresh! So much potential but unfortunately it was a pretty frustrating experience for our first visit. Service was crazy slow and our server kept skipping our table to check in so it took a long time to order, get refills, etc. We ordered a kid's chicken quesadilla for our daughter, and it came out with just cheese. Server said they don't offer chicken for kids so she probably misheard us. Totally understand that things happen but then it took another 20 minutes to bring the chicken out and our 3 year old was hitting her limit. I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos and for $18.50 you would think it would come with a reasonable amount of food. Super nope. Each taco had 1.5 shrimp, for a whopping total of 3 shrimp between 2 tacos, with the shrimp sliced in half to make it look like more. Asked for hot sauce and that was also forgotten. Husband's margarita was good and the decor was nice but that was about it. It was too slow, overpriced, and had insanely small portions - probably our first and last visit unfortunately. read more

This was the second visit that I made here. After waiting about 20 minutes, people arriving after we did and being sat, I approached the hostess. Our name was "accidently" skipped over. We sit down to have a table of margaritas, and they were okay. I had the mixed fajitas tray, came out with only chicken on the tray. My husband had the Carne Asada platter. It came out with one tortilla and we were told that they charge if we want more. We asked for salsa and chips, asked for additional salsa and the waiter said it would cost more. For a table of 4, we spent $225 and it was not worth the meal or the price at all. Will not be returning here. read more

I have Celiac Disease (Gluten Free) and haven't had many options in Thornton to safely eat out... until now! A huge shoutout to my awesome server, Matt M, who was incredibly knowledgeable about Celiac Disease and cross-contamination! He made me feel super comfortable eating here. Also you can tell the management really trains its staff in hospitality, as we received "thank you's" from probably 6 different staff members on our way out! Ambience is awesome - super cute on the inside + great patio with heaters! Definitely filling a gap in the Thornton restaurant scene, as you usually only find restaurants like this down South. This review is strictly on the horrible service. I sent an email to the corporate address in receipt and have not received a response. We were there Friday night about 7:15 sat at the covered patio at a 2 person table. The table next us was dirty all the plates and glasses and that table sat dirty out entire meal. As well as the other 4 tables that left while we were there. The waitress stopped after guests left picked up her tip and didn't remove one thing from the tables. The hosts spent most if the time talking oblivious to all the empty dirty tables. Finally at about 8:40 everyone started bussing the tables. Our server was MIA most of our meal didn't refill waters and never checked back after we got our food. I was do excited when you opened this location I've been to Gaylord several times. Unfortunately this place isn't super busy especially on the weekends and the service is going to ruin your business. I don't understand how the servers make any money when they can't turn tables because they're dirty. Also never saw a manager doing any interaction with guests. read more

Food was good, limited selection but the four plates and appetizer were all prepared well. The service was good, slight wait but to be expected when busy. The building and fixtures are beautiful and comfortable. The 3 * rating is a result of the uncomfortable noise levels. Unfortunately they have the same problem that most new restaurants have these days... lots of hard surfaces and no noise abatement. Outside there is a lovely patio but it faces west and when we arrived the sun was intense and music was blaring from the outside speakers. We chose to sit inside but it was immediately apparent that, while cooler, the noise was an even higher decibel level. We were at a small 4 top but could not hear each other speak unless we raised our voices - A LOT. As all the other diners were doing the same it made for an uncomfortable experience. We were excited to try a new place in the area. We ordered drinks and appetizers. The food was okay. The service was terrible. The main restaurant was pretty empty but we were sat in a corner. It was not busy. The waitress dropped off the food and drink and then was just gone. 30 minutes later we stopped another staff member and asked if we could have some more chips for our salsa.
