It's all true! Jenny is amazing! My husband and I had an elopement ceremony in St. Lucia about a week ago. We married in April after a little over a year of engagement because we just couldn't wait anymore. I know, I know...barf, right? I met with Jenny and she immediately took my measurements, listened to what my needs were and informed me that she would have to completely open up the dress to see how much extra material she had to work with. Jenny put in a corset for me, took in the bust, let out the hips and rear and took in the waist. With a long stint at Neiman Marcus on her resume, I had really high expectations for Jenny. I'm so happy to report that she completely exceeded my lofty expectations. Jenny is just fantastic! My dress required some major reconstruction. Like adjust the straps, take in the hips, take in the thighs (to make me look like I'm not built like a rectangle), AND shorten the dress. Oh, and I should mention that my dress is all lace, with very intricate beading and crystals. She basically had to take the entire thing apart at the seams, then resew the lace, beading and crystals, then repeat this process to adjust the length. Major work. When I left my first appointment with her, she assured me that she would make the alterations and return the dress to its original condition. When I picked it up today, I was so happy to find that she delivered on her promise. It was like someone waved a magic wand and shrunk my dress in exactly the right spots (or worked tirelessly to hand sew complicated beading and lace). Her work was flawless, and the fit was perfect. I really couldn't be happier with Jenny and her craftsmanship. She is professional, timely and joyful. She's passionate about what she does, and very clearly takes pride in doing her job very well. This review is long overdue...My wedding was June 28, 2014! After an amazing wedding, there was no honeymoon period! I went straight back to school and work full time! It's still extremely important to me to tell everyone what an amazing job Jenny did on my dress and what a sweetheart she is to work with! I cant say enough good things about Jenny! I trusted her right away. My wedding dress was the Vera Wang Ethel and was absolutely stunning. I loved my dress from day 1, but I wanted a few tweaks done to it. I wanted a sweetheart neckline with cups added so I could go without a bra underneath my dress, and also a rhinestone belt added to the waistline. There were several other modifications that needed to be made as well that were very tedious and time consuming, but Jenny was up to the task. She explained how she takes her time with each job because you cant rush this type of process. She says she likes to stay true to the designer's work, so when making modifications to my Vera Wang she was very careful to do things perfectly. As a bride, I know you can all appreciate that!! My dress was very form fitting and the zipper was very snug. Towards the end of the process it was obvious that we were having trouble getting my zipper zipped; partly because of how tight the dress was fitting and partly because of the construction of the zipper/dress. Jenny said no problem and worked her magic, which resulted in a more comfortable, perfectly fitting dress! The dress was perfection and I got sooooo many compliments on it. Jenny is a miracle worker. I was standing up in a wedding in Michigan, and had to order my dress over the phone based off my measurements. When I received the size 8 dress, I was convinced they sent me a 4 and inserted the wrong size-tag inside. I was bound and determined to lose as much weight as possible, so I could squeeze into what I fondly referred to as "the purple dress from hell". It was made of chiffon, and I was warned when I ordered it that chiffon dresses were extremely difficult to let out, and this one had very little extra fabric. A month before the wedding, I could only zip the thing half-way up (all the way if I had my husband's assistance and didn't want to sit/breathe/move). I was in panic mode and came on Yelp searching for a seamstress who might be able to do something to fix the dress. I accepted that I had waited too long, and it would be impossible for anyone to make it fit me without making the dress a corset-back. I dreaded the thought of telling my girl friend (and stressed out bride-to-be), that I would need to basically re-do the dress that she desperately wanted us to all be identical in. When I saw the rave reviews on Yelp about Jenny, I knew she would be my only hope. I called her in panic mode, and she offered to see me THAT day. Jenny's studio is in the back of her home, so park on the side of her house around the corner. It was cute, clean and bridal gowns were hung everywhere! Clearly this woman knows what she's doing if so many brides trust her with their gowns. Jenny is sweet, and didn't make me feel like a huge cow when I demonstrated how lovely the gown fit me. She took my measurements, said she'd call me in a week or so and assured me she could make it work without a corset back. Two days later... (yes, TWO!), Jenny called me see if I had time to come over and try the gown on before she completed it. I went over the next day, and wouldn't you know, it FIT! I don't know how she did it, but she did! I hugged her with joy, and she told me she could have it finalized in just a couple of days. The whole process took about a week. Sure, the price was higher than other seamstresses, but it was definitely worth it because the quality of Jenny's work is impeccable. I am so glad I found Jenny on Yelp! She is master of her craft; she really is amazing! The dress that I wanted wasn't available in the US so I was really nervous about getting measured and ordering the dress straight from the designer online. I was in a hurry and had 3.5 months for the dress to be made, shipped and altered all before my wedding day. Jenny was so incredibly accommodating to my schedule and was able to squeeze me in to take my measurements. Having never been married before and never going through the bridal gown experience, I wish I would've done 2 things differently that would've helped both Jenny and myself: 1) I wish I brought a strapless bra/silicone bra to the appointment because Jenny measured me to a 'T' and I didn't have a lot of room to wear a bra of any kind under my dress on the big day 2) I wish I requested a little extra space in my torso and hips area so I would be able to comfortably sit, dance and eat while wearing my dress during my wedding- like I mentioned, Jenny will measure you to a perfect 'T' so be sure to mention to add a little bit of wiggle room if you think you'll need it. Once my dress was delivered, Jenny was great and knew I was crunched for time so she was able to fit me in for a rush fitting. My dress had an intricate lace pattern on it so I was nervous about having the dress taken out a little bit and was worried that it would look obvious that I had to have it altered. But Jenny is magical and was able to take the dress out seamlessly! She is truly, truly, truly talented and I'm so relieved that I found her. I highly recommend her services! read more

I went to Perfect Bride by chance after being frustrated with the ridiculous price I had been quoted at another alterations store for the changes I wanted done to my wedding dress. Jenny was INCREDIBLE!! Not only did she spend most of her career working at Neiman Marcus (which I only found out from another client who was leaving and had worked with her there), but she is just as nice as can be. And her prices are unbeatable. She did everything I wanted, the final product was beyond my expectations, and it cost less than half of what the other store wanted to charge me. I also brought her my DVF rehearsal dinner dress which was a couple sizes too big and long (purchased at Saks but on sale and they couldn't have had it altered in time for the wedding). She had it done in less than a week!! I would highly recommend her and plan to use her for all of my alterations in the future. Having just gotten engaged March 23rd 2015 and decided to get married in Italy that May, I was definitely under the gun to find a dress, let alone get it altered. After finding my dress in what was nothing short of a miracle, I hurriedly scoured Yelp for alterations. By the time I found my dress it was already the first week of April; my fiance and I leave for Italy on May 14th, so time is of the essence. After finding Jenny and reading her glowing reviews, I was confident that she would be able to help me! I made an appointment right after I had received my dress, which was the second week of April. I should have gone to play the lottery afterward because it turned out I would be her last job before she went on vacation for two weeks! Talk about lucky. Getting fitted itself, was a pleasure and she was so friendly and professional. She did way more to my dress than I thought was originally needed (of course, I lack seamstress skills), but boy, am I glad she is amazing at her job. She pinned and tucked and lifted everywhere. She added a corset and a hook/latch strap to keep the dress tight around my waist. Shortening the dress was a must, being 5'3", I was practically drowning in the dress as it was. Along the way, she was informing me of what she was doing and why; she'd have to open up the dress to add the corset boning and refold/tuck the tulle overlay. Jenny made this somewhat time-crunched and stressful time a joy and we had so much fun. She gave me a done-by date of April 16th, and I was completely amazed and impressed by how she completely redid the dress and "fixed" it so it looked like it was custom made for me. Trying it on was night and day to how it was before; she made it look like a million bucks. Thankfully this dress traveled incredibly well, and held up through 2 flights one-way spanning 20 hours and spending 12 days on a cruise ship. We got married in Venice on May 29th, and the dress didn't need any steaming whatsoever. It looked as fresh as it did when I picked it up from Jenny. I just want to thank Jenny from the bottom of my heart for doing one heck of a job and making the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. She did an amazing job, I was so impressed! I intentionally bought a dress that was going need some work because I wanted a very specific look. I bought a dress that was 3-4 sizes too big (awesome sale, just couldn't pass it up) and she very quickly took care of that. Other alterations were: removing the sewn in beads around the waist, creating a sash to take place of the beads, creating a bolero to go with it, and adding some colored tulle underneath. I was amazed at the final result. It worked out EXACTLY the way I pictured it in my head. She also charged a very reasonable price for the amount of work she did on my dress.
