Great - and great call ahead experience for a big order. kids like them every time - have done this a few times

I've been a vegetarian since high school due to temporarily being ordered to become one by my doctor at the time for health issues. When I tried to begin eating meat again, it became clear that my body had become sensitive to it. I can't eat veggie burgers grilled on a grill with meat burgers without GI symptoms, etc. Today my dad and I got some pastries, ham & cheese croissants for him and a double chocolate muffin for me. Was disappointed to open the bag and see the muffin had been tossed in a single bag with both ham croissants instead of each item being individually wrapped, coating the muffin in oils from the ham and leaving me unable to enjoy it due to my body's sensitivities to meat :( Reordered on DoorDash to see if I could get my double chocolate muffin (without any meat products in the order this time) and saw they replaced it with chocolate chip muffins because they were out of double chocolate muffins. I would have appreciated a text or phone call letting me know they were out so I could have chosen my replacement myself instead of them simply choosing it for me Delicious food, don't get me wrong!! I absolutely recommend. I would just request a bit more thought put into cross contamination possibilities, as well as trying to attempt to contact the customer to see if they'd like a specific replacement instead of choosing for them read more

Great little place that has a bunch of foods they sell with freshly made donuts, breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Lots of choices and drinks too. Parking is free. Gotta try it!!! read more

I work at the bookstore around the corner & a coworker turned me on to this place. Service is awesome, I always get the lady and she's so polite & sweet. The coffee is fresh and so good. My first time here--WOW! 20 minutes before closing, we decided to hop in because of good reviews and a craving for a donut. First, service was so sweet despite it being late. She threw in extra donut holes and was very patient as we browsed the (many!) flavors. The cinnamon sugar cronut wasn't too sweet and was perfectly flaky. The apple fritter was my favorite!! This type is often not apple-y enough, but their apple fritter was so perfect in texture and filling. The maple old fashioned wasn't sickly sweet like other places; the glaze was a darker, deeper flavor. Give this place a visit if you can! read more

I found Perfect Donuts to be an intersection between your stick-to-the-basics and trendy donut spots. They have all the classic characters but a variety of cronut flavors as well. FYI you get 30% off when you pay with cash. For a first impression, I always go with the classic glazed yeast donut ($1.75). I went around 9am and was surprised to see just a few left, but maybe they make more throughout the day. It was a bit more dense than how I like my donuts but not in an overwhelming way. It's not my favorite glazed around town but still pretty decent. The woman helping me was super pleasant! As for parking, it was easy to find a spot in the mall. Growing up my mom would stop here on the way to school or after our horseback lessons. My order has never changed. Toasted plain bagel with cream cheese & butter and a large Thai tea with boba. Hits every time!! It's been well over 15 years I've been coming to this place and the service is always friendly which is super pleasant. I don't know where to start with this Perfect Donut Shop! The name speaks itself. PERFECT in every way!! I don't go there that often, but when I do, it is always a GREAT, AWESOME experience in this shop. Cecilia and her husband are so inviting, welcoming, kind, nice with great customer service skills that you want to stay there and talk to them for hours:)) Everything that they have is always fresh, and delicious. From donuts, muffins, fruit, juice, boba/smoothies, croissants and an actual lunch/dinner menu from burgers to chicken teriyaki/rice/salad. They have sandwiches and can make it anyway that you want. They are very accommodating, and sincerely, genuinely want to make every customer's dream, desire, appetite and stomach full and fulfilled. My son and I were there like 2 weeks ago and I haven't talked to Cecilia in a very long time. I called her out and wanted to see how she was doing. We ordered great yummy, fresh donuts, croissants, beverages and chicken teriyaki meal. Everything always tastes the way it should taste. DELICIOUS. The main ingredient is to be consistent!! And they are. I have to mention that their chocolate croissant is to DIE FOR! They are not skimpy with the chocolate filling. It is so rich and good. Love it. Place is clean, cozy, and enough chairs and tables to share with your loved ones. Inside and outside. I feel bad that I haven't done a review on this SO PERFECT donut shop sooner. They have been around for so many years and I hope this place will be here for a very, very long time.:)) One last thing. Maybe like 3 years ago, I left my purse hanging on the chair and I left the donut shop, went home, and didn't notice that my purse was missing. Incredible cronuts omg!!!!! The Nutella looked divine but I was restrained and just had the cinnamon one ! Nutella cronut was amazing! The Vietnamese coffee was also good. Service was a little slow for just 2 customers in the morning, but I think it's more due to the cashier/server was still undergoing some training. She was polite and courteous though. I'd still go back. read more

How this is not rated as the top donut in LA County, I just don't understand. I am a next level greedy professional when it comes to donuts and if you know donuts, then you know there's a sweet spot to hit I. The "perfect" donut, which is a combo of: light & fluffiness, a rich density of the dough and then the quality and coverage of toppings (glaze, crumb, frost, etc.). This place gets 5 stars on all 3. If you're a newbie and wanna play it safe your first time, then grab a basic glaze (twist or round) and a maple donut- tastes like caramel! If you're advance are ready to go all in, get a Cronut, an apple fritter and a cinnamon roll with the crumb on top. You can thank me later! While I've never tried their food, there's always a line of people ordering burritos, burgers and plates, that swear that their food is their best kept secret. From the outside you kind of feel unsure about going in. This donut shop is in a tiny, random, spot at the corner of Vineland and Moorpark. No frills. But their donuts are great! And they even have breakfast burritos that are pretty outstanding!!! Prices are good, taste is good. I recommend stopping in here for your donut fix. Everyone is always cheerful and friendly. Whether I am there at 8 am or 7 pm, I am always greeted with a friendly smile and great service. My son would live off of the avocado boba if I allowed him, and every time I bring him they know exactly what he wants. It makes him feel like a little 6-year-old king to have a "go-to" order somewhere. We won't go anywhere else in Los Angeles for boba. I read that they had cronuts and I've been wanting to try them. I ordered the custard, cinnamon (churro?), and strawberry cronut. I also got a glazed donut because that's a standard donut to try at any donut shop. They were all very yummy. The custard cronut was the best and the strawberry one was pretty good too.
