People aren't shopping at malls so much, so the mall owners pretty much converted an entire area of the mall into small hair salon studios, nails salon studios, spa studios for facials, massage, etc. These are little salons that can accommodate one or maybe two customers at a time, and the space is rented by certified professionals who don't want to work for someone else. Very entrepreneurial. This works really well because there are a dozen salons here to get your hair done, half a dozen to get your nails done, three or four places to get a massage or a facial. Someone is always available if you walk around the area, peek through the glass windows, and knock on the door to ask if they can take a walk in. It's a one-stop shop for grooming. This salon is super cute with hardwood floors, French windows, and natural light. They sell some really good tea tree lavender mint hair products here (Paul Mitchell)... I have been coming to Ricky for at lest 6 months and have really enjoyed the services. The ambiance in the shop is very pleasing and the staff is hospitable (always offering me a coffee or water). The Executive Beard Trim is what i get and it is total full service including multiple hot towels and aftershave. I have tried other barbers in the area and The Perfect Gentleman is the best value. I gave this spot 2 chances and was very disappointed both times. The first time my hair was very short and wanted them to shape it so it would grow out nicely. They didn't. The barber barley even touched it, it must have to took him less than 10 minutes for what he did but he still charged me full price plus tip. The second time was worse, I tried showing him a reference picture from many different angles but he didn't seem interested or to care and it showed because he just did whatever the hell he wanted. Booked an appointment for a beard and hair trim. After I told the stylist how I wanted my hair trimmed, I advised about the beard trim. She said she'd do the beard "only if [she has] time", then she went over to her computer presumably to check the upcoming appointments. She comes back and says, "today you're getting the gentlemens hair cut which is 55 dollars." Great, but I'd also like my beard trimmed. She looks at me like I'm insulting her and says, "I can only do it if I have the time" then walks over to the computer again. At that point I decided to leave, as would anybody else. Annette cut my curls perfectly! It was risky going to a new salon three days before my wedding but I took a chance and came here. It couldn't have been a better decision. Ever since I chose to grow my hair out longer than a normal comb-over, it's been hard to find a place that knows how to cut men's curly hair. Either barbers don't know how to cut my longer hair, or hairdressers at salons are used to longer women's hair . When I start my day, I am unfortunately an imperfect gentleman. I have curly difficult to manage hair, and have struggled my entire life to get a good haircut, and a good hair routine so I look my best even after the cut. Eventually, thanks to what I attribute to nothing less than star crossed alignment, I happened upon Nicholas and Ricky at the Perfect Gentlemen. Humanity has created a dictionary full of words and yet none of them can express WOW strong enough to encapsulate how I feel leaving the salon. Nicholas is an expert with curly hair so if you have hair with difficult texture, you will be surprised with how manageable it can become after a few haircuts and some good product to take home. In specific, I highly recommend getting a beard trim from Nicholas, as he has an immaculate eye with surgical precision. My jaw line looks so pronounced after a beard trim, I quite frankly feel like nothing less than the namesake Perfect Gentlemen in the flesh. If I'm rating the salon on location and vibe they get a 4/5. Nice location. But if I rate on my shave, not impressed. I asked for a traditional close shave. I was left with stubble patches in multiple areas that were not fully shaved. I can get a closer beard shave at home with my dollar shave kit....was kind of expecting for $65 to get a better, closer shave but if I can do a better job myself kinda defeats the purpose. 1/5 for me. read more

Best Hair Cut experience I've ever had. Erick cut my hair today and that will be the only person to touch my hair from this point forward! I had grown my hair out for three years, and was scared and unsure to cut it at all. If I was going to cut it off, I wanted it to be exactly when I needed not some generic cut you would get out of Supercuts or sports clips etc... Erick listen to exactly what I want. It asked me to show him pictures and ideas that I had when I wasn't sure how much I would want to takeoff. He started slow and let me guide through the rest I ended up going for a shorter hairstyle, because the longer he took going the more I could see the vision. He took his time meticulous worked hard by far the best haircut experience I've ever had obviously more expensive than your typical haircut spot if you're a dude but you pay for what you get. Fourth visit, and while I may never be a perfect gentleman, my hair is definitely improved. I had mistakenly written down the wrong time for my appointment and arrived at 10:00 AM instead of 1:00 PM. It was going to be a crazy day so I couldn't come back but I really needed the haircut. Mary Rose was able to take me and did an excellent job, not finishing until I was happy with everything. I've now had cuts from there different people at PG, and was delighted with all of them.
