I really like this salon. It has wide comfy pedicure chairs with massage. They seem to care about the customers. It's kind of awkward how I don't understand any of the conversations, but the workers seem to have a nice cooperation here. They were laughing and enjoying themselves. I had to rush out nd they let me return to finish my pedicure. My service was done by Gina and she paid special attention to detail. I went here for a pedicure this afternoon. Not happy with the crew. Everyone was very lazy and not attentive today. I sat idly in the pedicure chair for awhile before my stylist came over. The results were fair not great. May not return. Also, there was no music playing on inter com. There were some nature photos being streamed on a couple TVs. What were those supposed to do? After a terrible experience at a very popular salon in New Britain, I went to Emily to fix my ruined nails and she did such an amazing job that she became my go to nail technician. She's so sweet and really gives a lot of great recommendations on what to do with my nails because I can be indecisive sometimes. Also Lynn does my pedicures and she does a fantastic job every time. This place was great the very first time I went there. I had a wonderful nail technician who made me so very happy with the completed look for my nails. It was a beautiful ombré nude look and she was so friendly. Unfortunately, the last two times I went there my nails were done by someone who was in a rush. She ended up ruining my nail shape and making each nail crooked. I am STILL trying to fix my nail shape and it's been a couple of months. I understand the amount of customers that they see but each customer should feel like their nails are getting the proper attention and care. This is not the case here. I could not imagine the backlash I would receive if I submitted my work at my job with the equivalent amount of effort that this woman showed to my nails. I'd be fired, instantly. I've been getting my nails done by the owner since before Perfect Nails opened. They are very attentive and listen to my requests to give me the look I'm going for. Went here to get a fill & let's just say I will not be returning. Management is not good at all. I was talking with my friend how I won't consider getting gel done there again because last time I did, two days later my nails started chipping. (I went there a week prior). My friend was telling me about a nail place she goes to and how they do so well especially for the price & Emily jumped in the conversation stating that we must be from Hartford & Hartford doesn't do a good job on people's nails. Went for the first time today after I've been going to another place that completely screwed up my nails. Everyone was so nice I didn't wait at all I just called ahead for a fill and gel polish. They asked exactly what I wanted and I referenced a picture and they were extremely accommodating. Julie did my fill and she really took the time to shape my nails perfectly to make sure they were exactly how I like them and also make sure they were strong and wouldn't break off. She gave me advice about my cuticles and put oil and lotion and a hot towel after whereas most places just finish after the paint. She worked really fast too, my nails were a mess and they looked a million times better and healthier after I left! It's under new management and everyone is very sweet and helpful. The prices are extremely reasonable. After 7 services you get the next one at 20% off, I'm definitely going back and I'm pretty sure I found my new forever spot. Thanks guys! read more

Recently set up an appointment to get a full set of acrylic nails and was immediately serviced and waited no time since I was the first to get to the store. They were nice and the design I wanted was ok the only thing is that it's been a couple of days and my nails are already chipping off at the sides. Well, I used to love going here & actually followed a nail technician from the salon across the street over to this one when she moved. I'd been going consistently for like 3 months and started to experience quality issues. I didn't let it bother me at first , bc I thought it was just a few rough visits. The last straw for me was when I got my nails done and for some reason a few of them broke a week later , ok no biggie I thought, I went to the salon and they re-did them ... ok great , went home and two days later another nail broke. I went back to show them and they all started laughing at me; I guess I missed the joke , but they asked that I come back the next day. So I sucked it up and gave them another chance , went into the salon , and again they all laughed and said "oh back to fix one nail"? I'm usually a light hearted person , but I'm also very serious about my time. This was the third time I was coming to the salon in three weeks. Basically about to spend another hour at the salon and didn't find it funny that their quality issues was the reason I was back. So long story short , they've lost a customer in me. read more

If could give this a -5 Stars I definitely would. My daughter and I went there today for the first time. Although the techs who worked on my and her nails were very nice the male tech who I am assuming is the owner Johnny was very unprofessional and rude. His station was next to the station my daughter was sitting at and unbeknownst to him she heard every rude thing he was saying to his client about the nails my daughter was getting. She was getting stiletto style nails and although the woman who was working on my daughter's hands was very sweet he just kept going on and on about how "awful and ugly they were, why would she get those, etc". That banter went on for some time between him and his client and it was he who was saying all the awful things. That is unprofessional, more so if you are the owner. Between my daughter and I we spent about $160.00 on services, it was our first and will be the last visit there due to that Owner/Employee. read more

I was pretty disappointed with the work done on my nails. I went in for a full-set. I asked for ballerina nails and the shape is okay. The tech drilled over my cuticles multiple times which was painful. That paint job is pretty terrible. It's streaky, parts of my nail aren't painted and when I asked for a gel top coat she yelled no as if I was an idiot for asking. I've never had that happen where I couldn't put a gel top coat on my nails. When I called to make my appointment, the gentleman said they specialize in acrylic nails and that they were the best...not sure that's the case. read more
