A few years ago we had to move to Washington due being relocated due to work. I've had my SUV for 22 years, it's in good condition and runs well. On this model the vacuum hose can get knocked out of place easily which can cause air to blow on my feet constantly which drives me nuts. Usually I have had to take more time off work to go in and get this fixed because they did not listen to me when I explained about the hose during the initial drop off, but THEY listened and I got it back without any problems at all. They were also able to get me in the next week to fix those other items, one of which was a big repair. I never felt overcharged either as my services ended up being a little less than the estimate. I'm really happy that I found such a great place because even though my SUV is pretty old at this point, I really love it and want to keep it running as long as possible. I'm excited about getting all the new tech perks that come with a new vehicle, but this is my first vehicle that I bought for me, and I still love it and am not ready to let go just yet, and with this place, I know we're in good hands.

You even need to disconnect the battery to get to the headlight area. So Black Diamond Auto changes it for me for a nominal fee. I just bring them the headlight bulb. Easy peasy and I'm so appreciative. Recently our sons older Ford needed some work that was out of our scope. Intake manifold work. BDA charged way less than what we expected. And when we brought it home, after being fixed, sadly it was still leaking transmission fluid. BDA took the truck back without hesitation and fixed the gasket leak within the day. Each time, I was assured the problem was taken care of--and each time, I left with the exact same mess. At this point, I'm seriously wondering if this shop ever actually replaced the brake pads after the first time, since there's never been any evidence that they did. Rommel is full of promises but short on results. He either doesn't know what he's doing or simply doesn't care--and I'm honestly not sure which is worse. When he had the audacity to ask me to bring my car in a FOURTH TIME (seriously?), I instead asked him for a refund of the $604 I had initially paid him. He refused, claiming, "That wouldn't be fair." I'D LOVE TO KNOW WHAT'S FAIR ABOUT A 74-YEAR-OLD WOMAN HAVING TO CLEAN SOLID BLACK BRAKE DUST OFF HER FRONT WHEELS (WEEKLY!) Power control module. I have no idea what the heck that is, but it was under $200 total and it fixed a variety of other issues "Old Faithful" had been exhibiting. Fast. Seemed honest. After the diagnosis process they urged me to do a compression test & borescope; I pushed back asking if it would be better to check out air/fuel first considering the compression test would add an extra $1k that I did not feel was necessary. They stated that their "Master tech" was the one looking at it and they wouldn't just throw something out. Sure enough, borescope + compression test came back fine and nothing related to the misfire & air issue I was having. They said that when unplugging the MHD chip I had in, the car drove perfectly, with no misfires or codes. Took it home and the car is still misfiring and has lean mixture codes... $1,340 to unplug an MHD chip & "diagnose" the car by recommending services to charge you more. Only thing that came back was a small amount oil that was leaking from the valve cover that was on the THREAD of the spark plug, according to these guys that COULD be the cause for the misfire and needs a $5,600 charge to fix. Took it to a shop in Lynnwood this morning and they have already ruled out the valve cover, which this shop thought "could" be the cause. When bringing this up to them, I was left on read. Don't make the same mistake, save your time and money and take it to an actual specialist
