Of course it's a hospital, but I was hoping for something a little more. Just salad and a few entrees. Very small eating area

The space is immaculately maintained, thoughtfully organized, and clearly managed with care. Even a tiny, barely noticeable mess was handled immediately--with signage up and everything addressed so seamlessly. It sounds small, but it speaks volumes. So many places today feel understaffed or chaotic, and we've all learned to excuse it because running a business is hard. That's exactly why this place feels special--it's staffed, prepared, and genuinely on top of things. You can tell they invest in good management and actually take care of their space and their team. The matcha was excellent (again), and the staff were calm, warm, and incredibly professional. I witnessed a customer being a bit rude, and the way the team handled it--with grace, patience, and zero tension--was honestly impressive. The vibe here just feels happy. You can sense that the people working here enjoy being here, and that energy carries through the entire experience. Thoughtful, polished, and consistently lovely. This place continues to set the bar.

The thing that puts it slightly above average is the ambiance. I love that it's coffee... and shopping for plants. It's a really nice touch and a fun spin on a coffee date. Everything is reasonably priced. Pretty standard to other coffee shops

This time it was so fresh and flavorful and not too moist, crust wasn't tough - it was delicious!! So sad that I didn't remember to take a photo before I gobbled it up! My bestie ordered a blueberry muffin, then later a croissant sandwich. I didn't try them, but she loved them both. I ordered a latte and it was so good that I returned for another. We enjoyed our visit, people-watching and catching up. The place was very clean although small but most customers seemed regulars and just walked up with their dogs and/or kids and left, so mostly live close-by, it seemed. How nice to take a short stroll to retrieve a delicious treat. Can't wait to visit here again!

There was a huge assortment of danish, butterfly cookies, and a variety of other baked goods. We debated about which ones to buy and picked out our favorites. They were delicious and freshly made. Service was great and they were very patient as we tried to make up our mind on which pastries we were going to buy. Prices were average for what you would expect for a homemade pastry shop. The shop had a comfy feel with cute tables and posters on the wall. We would definitely go back for more baked goods.Yum!

I visited this restaraunt for the first time and genuinely enjoyed everything I ordered. Starting off with appetizers, my friend and I ordered the pan shared halloumi cheese. This is paired with tomatoes and fig jam and is a wonderful accompaniment to the complimentary bread and olives served for the table. I'm a big fan of halloumi in general but this one was particularly cooked well and a must order for next time. For main entree I ordered Hunkar Begendi, which is sautéed marinated lamb tenderloin with red and green bell peppers over creamy eggplant puree. The lamb was in fact tender and perfectly seasoned and the eggplant puree went very well with the slight gaminess of the meat. I enjoyed this dish overall and it didn't feel too heavy, which sometimes is the case when I eat lamb. The pieces of meat were cut small enough while not being super tough, which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend this restaraunt if you enjoy trying Mediterranean fusion spots!

One thing I wish about my experience at Cafe Frida is that I HAD IT SOONER! Oh my!…read more I rarely find myself in the Garland area, so when I began taking some pilates classes nearby, I knew I needed to find all the cute local gems! Cafe Frida being one of them! Not only is this cafe so cozy and comfortable, there is plenty of space to sit! It would absolutely be perfect for anyone looking for a good working from home location as they also have plenty of outlets! And the service! Oh my, the girls at the front have been so sweet and kind! They often make conversation while also helping choose the best options on the menu! Now for the good stuff! The Menu! I have yet to try any of their food options, but I have had a chance to try both their iced and hot lattes! I can confidently say that Cafe Frida knows what they are doing when it comes to a good cup of caffeine! Sometimes, especially when ordering something with a bit more sweetness, coffee or espresso can lose it's taste, and as someone who craves the taste of coffee and espresso, Cafe Frida def makes sure all flavors are balanced! I just love when a coffee isn't overtaken by so many different flavors! I already cannot wait to go back! I attend pilates on Wednesday's, so they will def be seeing me again!
