Perqs is the spot for Super Bowl! I've been going to Perqs for years and appreciate that they have good prices and are low key. Mainly it's the bar to go to when you want to get some drinks without having to dress up for a fancy bar. Also, they have live bands at night on most weekends! I was shocked that they had complementary hot dogs and nachos for the big game. I will definitely be going to Perqs for the Super Bowl next year after what a great experience I had this year! Typically Perqs does not have food by the way, so having this on the game day was really top notch! I would never recommend this place to anyone because the workers were very unprofessional and it made me super uncomfortable. There was a specific Asian worker who was just ruining my groups night by implying rude comments & overall being bias against us. Unbelievable terrible service My female friend unzipped my Santa Claus suit. As went to bar and asked "Perqs IPA please" bartender said unknown. words. I said "excuse me. Bartender responded "you need to zip up". I said "okay" While I was looking down at my zipper to zip up the bartender walked away then another bartender told me to zip it up. To speed things up for them I turned around facing friend to assist. Then a bouncer kicked me out. They were very aggressive not wanting me say quick goodbye to few friends As I exited the bouncer at the door said knew nothing about it and had to do his job. He asked if I was drinking. I responded "of course. What kind of question is this?" It was around midnight so already early for a Saturday night. So early no rush to get home with Uber or Lyft, Sober enough to jog home 2.76 miles in my Santa costume and casual shoes in 23 minutes & 20 Seconds. Only good thing is saved me over $30! If ever find me there again is only due to been there many times with friends who will continue to go there. I just never again tip them. read more

Great local place to have a drink and watch a band, especially on a Friday night!! Their bands are usually rock bands which is really awesome. One of the security guards Cody was being extremely rude to me and my friend. The bartender was a woman, I don't know her name but she had fake eyelashes and she was Asian. She was veryyyy rude to my friend. She screamed at her when she was simply asking a question. Overall, service was a 0/10. The workers are not trained and are very rude to customers. Came here on a Sunday. Walked in with the upmost best vibes. Cody at the door was an actual doll. The dude behind the bar was the least interesting entity in that place. So rude. His service was so slow. More worried about his girlfriend and her friends. Listen, I used to work in food service. And then, after that, retail. I've experienced the full spectrum of humanity, and it was often unpleasant. I learned fairly quickly that I lack the temperament to handle people en masse, particularly when they're inebriated. The female bartender here is long overdue for a similar come-to-Jesus moment. Her name escapes me but she's racially ambiguous, dark-haired, and filled with all of the warmth and hospitality of unsanctioned CIA torture. Seriously girl, why are you here? During the 4 hours my friend and I were there I watched her snap at people on the dance floor, snap at the bouncer watching the dance floor, snap at her fellow bartender, and then, finally, snap at actual paying customers. It was so unpleasant that my friend and I left despite wanting to stay. And I thought you know, hey, people have off nights, maybe we caught her on a bad one. But I mentioned my experience to someone else, someone who frequents this place with his friends often, and he said it's a regular occurrence. I awarded two stars, as opposed to one, because the TouchTunes was fun and I enjoyed the people there. Many of them are in town for the air show and I hope this lone, excruciatingly unlikeable bartender doesn't color their opinion of the city. My boyfriend and I stopped here Tuesday night and had an oddly unpleasant experience with the female bartender. He ordered a Long Island and I ordered a Vodka Cran with a splash of soda. My boyfriend then asked if it was too late to change his order and if she had already started his Long Island. She snapped back "I can't make a Long Island that fast. Rude." Bartender was nothing but utmost disrespectful upon first interaction. I simply moved a trash can with a seat to sit next to my friend and got greeted with grief from the bartender. Instead of letting me know respectfully with a "Hey you mind leaving the trash can there it's my well", I was informed with "that's there for a reason, and not leaving it out on the walkway" (which I didn't by the way) and gives me a smirk laugh. Matt is HORRIBLE. I have been a loyal customer at Perq's for 10 years and he literally and physically shoved me out of the way for no reason. I had been at the bar for about an hour, listening to my favorite band "Those Guys"! I absolutely love Katie, their lead singer, and I brought a friend for the second time to enjoy the music. I was hanging out with Eric (the old bouncer/door security) and enjoying the band. Out of nowhere, and for no reason at all... Matt decided that I was in the way, and he made a huge scene. He was rude, disrespectful, and an absolute asshole. He needs to be fired. Dave, if you are going to employ people like this, then I have no respect for the business. I am in the industry, a restaurant manager, and I know how all of this works. If you have people like that, employed by you, it will not go well. Matt, you're an absolutely unhappy person. You don't deserve the job that you have and you have no business being in the industry. Any man that pushes a woman for no reason, deserves no respect.
