Less than adequate staff. One person busing tables, greeting new arrivals and checking people out. We were told to "sit anywhere where there's a clean table." Out of the half dozen in sight none were clean. I would imagine it would take at least an hour just to get the girl that was so busy to even get to us, and this was on a slow off season weekday. The menu is very interesting, but that is as close as we got. We were not seated, but told to find a spot .We were not served. Will start with I think the food is really good. Love the hash, but the service has a lot to be desired. When a customer walks in the door and it is 12:30 on a Saturday. Someone should say "Hello we will be with you in a moment". Not stand and wait 5 mins. When seated, should not take 10 mins for coffee. They were at 25% capacity. Not the early morning rush, then I could understand. You really need to work on your service, we almost left like we did earlier this year. Not sure we will give you another chance. read more

This is my new favorite place. Not only was the staff exceptionally friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is quite warm and welcoming. It is very clean and the setting is as if you were in a country in with a large working fireplace and comfy chairs and booths. As for the food. Everything is delicious and top quality. Everything is made from scratch. My favorite corned beef hash of all time. The famous 6hour hash is amazing, not salty or sour like most it is savory and tender and buttery. The hash browns are perfectly crispy outside and tender inside. The chourico scramble rocks as does the hollandaise sauce and the best pancakes. Lots of choices and always great. Never a disappointment. The meals come out quick and the wait staff helpful,attentive and friendly. read more

I had breakfast there twice this past weekend because it was convenient. On both occasions I came down with the runs right afterwards. Makes me suspect that the kitchen may not be sanitary. Also, younger staff can be unthinking and belligerent; the person who waited on us was fine though. Too many other places much more accommodating. I went there recently and had Meagan as my waitresss, she had an awesome attitude and was an amazing waitress very happy and could easily tell she was a hard worker!! Was on top of everything we asked for very quickly. Also the cornbread was AMAZING!!! I loved every bite of it, and have definitely recommended the cornbread to all my friends and told them to ask for Meagan as their server if she's working when they go!!! Our visit started with waiting for about 5 minutes to even be acknowledged at the front. We could see multiple empty tables (some were marked off for COVID, and others were just empty). We were then told to wait for about 10 minutes. Finally seated, and our waitress took our drink order, and only came back with coffee and no waters. She then took our food order and said she'd be back with waters. Food came in about 30 minutes and we were missing our sides and still no waters. Finally when we're about halfway done with our food, she came back with the missing sides and water. The food was adequate but not worth the price. They were obviously understaffed which I felt bad about so we weren't upset, but I think a large place like this should be waited on by more than just 2 waitresses. All in all, not worth the wait or the price. There are other breakfast places around that have better quality and value! read more

Absolutely fantastic!!! 10 of us went there for breakfast a couple days ago and ALL of us are eager to return. My parents love Persy's and it came highly recommended. Delicious and doesn't break the bank! We shared some dishes including the breakfast burrito, eggs, corn bread, and pancakes. The burrito was amazing with tons of fluffy eggs inside. The pancakes were buttery and fluffy and melted in the mouth. Eggs were all you can eat and cooked to perfection for all. And that brings us to the corn bread. Oh the corn bread!!!! Grilled and buttery, incredible! I am craving it already!! I want to go back so badly and try something new! Obsessed! read more

Something is really wrong with the management or I should say lack of with this chain. They have no staff, usually just one waitress no hostess or anyone to bus the tables. It just never changes, ever. Always empty tables with dirty dishes and you can stand waiting forever, nobody will ever care. read more

My wife and I had lunch here the 1st week of June. The place was only half full so no seating issues as reported by others. My wife had a half panini and a mug of clam chowder. I have a panini and fries with a mug of coffee and corn bread to go. I purposely said mug instead of cup because the mug is BIG. Took about 1/2 to get food. Waitress was no where to be found. When we finally got our food 3 of the orders were incorrect. A fourth order was incomplete. I sent my food back in order to get my correct order. Twenty minutes later the waitress returned with my meal which was wrong for a second time. She then tried to convince me to accept wrong order because the right order would take too long to cook. She made an excuse that there were new cooks and they couldn't help the errors. I submit that the cooks make the food that is on the order slip. The waitress was awful. I sent the food back and told her to never mind. I did not eat and walked out of pure frustration. Behind our booth were about 7 dead bugs (flies and more). I ordered an egg white Greek omelet that lacked any kind of flavor and the feta cheese tasted like cardboard. My twins had blueberry pancakes that were mediocre at best. Plus they nearly scalded their mouths on giant blueberries that burst in their mouth. I had to ask for a menu after waiting 5-7 mins for anyone to even acknowledge we were seated and needed a menu or drinks. Then I had to wait another 7-9 mins to get a straw for my water. Seems like the other waitstaff were swift and accommodating so I don't know if it was just us. Because I travel with kids I am typically a fantastic tipper. However, i cleaned up after my kids so I could simply give a bare minimum 20% to the penny. The place boasts kid friendly yet there were no crayons or coloring pages provided (may be Covid related but cmon have a disclaimer on your website). We will NOT be back!!! read more

Excellent service!! Had the eggs benedict with corned beef and was not disappointed. Flavorful and gets a 5 star for just for the perfectly cooked poached eggs. We will try this again - we were excited that it was here; one more location for lunch in town - or near enough you can walk there. Tables outside and in - first visit though leaves a lot to be improved upon - not friendly to arrivals; waited a long time to be served anything and no apologies when it finally happened. Serves breakfast and lunch till 3 - I tried a salad - huge slices of raw onion better for a burger; and big pieces of mediocre ham a few pieces of tomato and big hunks of cucumber made up a mediocre Chef's salad. My partner had a BLT that was all Bread and little bacon or T - fries a bit soggy. Water fine. We left saddened but will try again to see what breakfast may be like. As others have posted, the service at the Falmouth and Mashpee line branches is atrocious. We have been to both 2 & 3 times respectively and have never been served or seated in a timely manner. The problem seems to stem from a lack of supervision. In all cases there did not seem to be a manager of any kind in house, thus leading to an abundance of teenage (friendly mind you, just incompetent in food service) staff ogling each other and making chit-chat. Wrong orders brought, at odd intervals, often cold. Mind you, the food and selection is good, on the rare occasion it makes it to your table before 25 minutes has passed. The place is clean and the staff is friendly, just unsupervised. Breakfast is the easiest meal in the world to make so it's hard to understand the horrendous service that can't get it to your table. If you're looking for a place in Falmouth to have breakfast, I'd try Mary Ellen's Portuguese Bakery behind the Dairy Queen. read more
