Persy's is a perfect place to grab breakfast in Falmouth. There is usually a line starting to form around 9:30-10, but if you sneak in earlier, you can usually get sat right away. When you go to Persy's you better be hungry. Most entrees come with two sides of which I recommends the grilled cornbread and extra crispy hash browns. I usually get one of the omelets which have always been stuffed full of meat, veggies and cheese. read more

I would probably have more to say about Persy's Place in Falmouth if I had actually been able to eat there. I was staying at the hotel that the restaurant is attached to with some people who were out of town. I'm a fan of many other locations and have never been disappointed before. It's rare that I find myself so driven to write a bad review about a place, but I feel that I have no other choice. We waited about ten minutes at host stand before anyone came to see us. We could tell that they seemed pretty busy and pretty understaffed. When we were finally seated, we were not actually brought to a table, but instructed "Go ahead sit up there." We found the only table "up there" that was cleared off and assumed this was the table they wanted us to sit at. Well...this is where my experience ends, my friends. We waited a good ten or more minutes and were never greeted by anyone. It was highly uncomfortable to see other tables yelling at servers and demanding to be served so we quietly exited and it was clear that they probably did not even realize we were there. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, because I know that the chain as a whole is usually great. It was clear that they were severely, severely understaffed and I have to give them credit for doing what they could. At one point, someone asked them when they would be served, to which we heard the server reply "We'll get to you when we can." What? Apologies can go a long way, and I am sure if someone had greeted us and apologized right off the bat and said they'd be back in a minute or two, we might have stayed. Being humble and admitting to fault is something that people can relate to, and I think people would have been more understanding had we felt that. Also, it was pretty disturbing to see every other empty table still filled with dirty plates and dishes. We ended up going to a restaurant down the street and were fed and out the door in what we knew would've been the time it would've taken just to have given someone our orders at Persy's. I hope for their sake that they either do some major hiring or maybe get some new management. read more

Mochachinos are bottomless so is the wait for a table. we put in our spot on the waiting list and they skipped us after two hours we finally got a table, one of the five tables that was empty with dirty dishes on it. after about 25 minutes at the table we noticed that our table was forgotten. in total the meal took about three and a half to four hours. the food was decent but not worth the wait and it was too pricey for the service. they need more waiters and definitely more bussers. very poorly managed. read more

I've worked in a restaurant, more specifically, a breakfast restaurant, so i wanted to put a few of these reviews in their place. But first, my experience at Persy's Place in falmouth. I was seated after about 10 minutes, I could tell they were pretty busy, it was Sunday morning at around 930 am. Our waitress was really cool, got us beverages and joked with us a bit, and yes the food took a little bit, but there was a party of 6, a party of 12, and a party of 9 so I understood. Our food arrived and was amazing, I got the Western omelette with some toast and hash browns, and my girlfriend got the endless eggs with bacon, side of corn beef hash. My girlfriend asked for two more helpings of eggs, and received her eggs within a few minutes each time, our waitress was courteous and honestly really cool. Overall, the food was great(as well as the flavored coffee, we got pumpkin) and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Now to address people who have never worked in a restaurant. 1. parties of 2 come in droves, they may have a table available for 4, but not for 2. its just the way it is. 2. everyone is working together and trying their best, a lot of times, especially in off season, they are understaffed because its hit or miss on certain days, its not feasible to pay a bus person or extra people for a day that in the past hasn't made any money, and sometimes, IT JUST GETS REALLY FRIGGIN BUSY! 3. THEY ARE DOING THEIR BEST, especially with breakfast, it can be extremely difficult, everyone wants a table of 2 or 3, at 10 am. theres going to be a wait ANYWHERE you go. sorry, get used to it. sorry to rant, but I am so sick of these yelpers going crazy over breakfast places that are actually really good, stuff happens, it gets busy, there's going to be a wait, there's going to be a little bit of chaos. but the food is worth it. believe me. oh also, to the person who said the one in mashpee was better, you must be high, the food there was awful, and the place was dark and gross. this one had a bright atmosphere and outdoor seating. i would definitely choose this location ANY DAY. good day to you yelpers. check it out! read more

Please ignore this was for the Mashpee location. Make sure you have plenty of time to go here. After waiting 45 minutes for breakfast to arrive, it was cold and bland. The potato was almost raw on the hash browns, the English was not cooked on the eggs Benedict, there were shells in the eggs, and hardly any cheese on the grilled cheese. And good luck chasing down a coffee refill or silverware. read more

Tons of choices!! Service was great and we sat outside to have our breakfast. A lot of traffic going by but still nice ambience. I had the cheese omelette with feta and an English muffin and hash browns. Everything was amazing! Hubby had the all American omelette, he said it was very good. My husband and I just enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Persey's Place in Falmouth. We happened to be staying at the attached Inn on the Square. So the convenience was ideal and the menu is terrific. We both ordered omelettes. The omelettes were large and tasty. Two sides of your choice accompany the omelette. The freshly baked raisin bread is a must!! The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was following the correct or safe procedures during this pandemic. All of the patrons were good about wearing masks and social distancing. If we ever visit Falmouth again, we would eat at Persey's Place again. read more

Very disappointing...especially for the price. The food was mediocre...my "toasted" English was not toasted but just slathered in melted butter. The coffee is very weak. The worst part was the service. There was never more than one other party in the whole place while I was there but lots of waitresses, and not only did I have to ask for more coffee when given my check but the whole time I was there nobody took away my dirty dishes. I was traveling on business and was writing up some paperwork, and even though I had a pad of paper in front if me, waitresses walked by me and then carried on long loud conversations in the kitchen with a waiter or cook but never came back to check on if I wanted more coffee OR took away the dirty dishes. Clearly Persy's has a few kinks to work out. For one, they need to become more timely, and second they need to bring all the food that is listed on the menu, to my table. I was a bit disappointed with Persys because of the lack of service. Compared to its sister location in Mashpee, the Falmouth branch, for lack of a better word, sucks. The first time I visited they forgot to bring my beans,and the second time I visited they forgot to bring half my breakfast entree. I had to get up and ask. Moreover it took them a very, very long time to cook my fairly simple breakfast. I noticed other tables of four, who came in after my table of two, be served first. The food was really good, just as it is in Mashpee. However, for quality assurance, Ill be driving the extra miles until the Fal staff gets it act together. read more

Couldn't tell you about the quality of the food. After spending over 10 minutes (along with my 5 & 3 year old children) on a Tuesday morning, with the restaurant at 25% of capacity, we finally left. Host was not pleasant at all. You would not expect this in Falmouth during the season. My husband ordered the Daper Dan, daughter ordered the short stop, other daughter ordered chunky chimp pancake and I ordered some basics...scrambled egg, toast and oatmeal w/ banana. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast and standouts were the homemade corned beef hash, freshly baked oat bread, corn bread and sausage. We experienced quick and friendly service. Just had a great breakfast at Percy's. We had 2 eggs over light with home fries and real whole wheat toast. The atmosphere was excellent as the place occupies a large, modern space with a flat screen over a nice stone fireplace with plenty of light and nice roomy booths. Went to Persy's for the first time on mother's day. I have been all around the Falmouth area for breakfast, figure we would try a new place. They claim to have New England's largest menu. The Falmouth location is very spacious and inviting. It's attached to the Inn On The Square. They have a few tables outside for when the weather is nice and you want to enjoy the sun. The staff is nice and welcoming. Which is always nice. The food is good, but not great enough that something stuck out that would make me come back. They do offer a lot of healthy options, as well as all the classic breakfast fare. - My mother got pancakes with cranberries which she said were good. - My brother also got pancakes and he enjoyed it very much. - I keep it simple and go for the bacon egg n cheese sandwich on a bagel with Persy's home fries. It was like making it at home. It could of used another egg, and it looked like it was just tossed together and sent out. I am a fan of when they melt the cheese, especially when they melt the cheese over the bacon. The bagel was so so. I prefer my sandwiches with everything bagels. - The home fries were pretty good. That was a use plus. Big home fry guy and they were top notch. Nice and crispy. The other patrons were getting pancakes and various egg benedict. So if I decide to head back, I will more than likely try that. They have a big lunch menu, but I'll stick to breakfast. The iced coffee was OK, you get 1 free refill. If they had a liquor licence then, thenn I would give it another star. The set up is right to serve bloody mary's and mimosa's. I tried the mashpee location and really like the home fries, they are one of my favorite breakfast foods. This location's were no where near as good as the mashpee location, although the rest of my meal was good. I ordered the California benedict which was good. They gave a good amount of avocado too. Awful experience. Over half the tables were empty but was told it would be 15 minutes to be seated. We ended up waiting 1 HOUR for a table. 20 other people were waiting as well and as we were leaving the number of people waiting had grown substantially. Apparently they were holding half the restaurant for a reservation that never showed up. Sunday morning of July 4th weekend. Finally when they realized these people weren't showing up they decided to seat people. Not the smartest bunch. By the time we finally were seated we had gotten over the wait but then the service was slow and the food was mediocre at best. My son's toast was burnt and my daughters eggs were cold. My wife's breakfast burrito was good, and my omelet was fine. No crayons for the kids, the coffee was lukewarm, and we were seated at a table where the sun was just beating down on us. No shades in the windows. Overall was a bad experience. I would rather feed my family at Dunkin' Donuts than ever bring them back to Persy's. read more
