I sent…read morethe company the attached photo and the rep said "oh maybe we'll call and check on her tomorrow" they never did. it was obviously caused by the grooming as she was obsessively licking her paw right away coming home from the grooming. unfortunately she then developed vomiting that night and over the following days so we ended up at the emergency vet. I ended up spending well over 1k out of pocket. I sent the owners a very polite email with the medical bills records, and the photo of her injury asking for reimbursement and they said she was not injured (which she obviously was) and they would not even reimburse the grooming despite her injury. They said due to the waiver I signed they were not liable however the waiver does not mention injury due to their negligence. The owner further refused to provide me their insurance information. Please don't go here. It is not safe for your pets.

The room was clean and they saw us quickly - waiting only 10 minutes tops. The tech was awesome and the vet was solid as well. Didn't catch either of their names, but both ladies were patient, kind, and informative. We left with an anti-inflammatory as well as a recommendation to monitor the limp and come in for an x-ray if the issue didn't gradually get better. The Petco store itself was a pretty good size in a nice area of other businesses. They had a variety of animals for adoption as well as aisles and aisles of food, treats, training equipment, comfort, etc. The store was clean, their bathrooms were well taken care of, and the staff at the front table was polite. No complaints with the store, but didn't spend much time in it because we were there for the Vetco

I brought my chi-weenie in for her normal grooming cause she was getting long nails and stinky breath (she refuses to let me near them) and I got to meet Miguel. Drop off went well, and they told me about 2-3 hours. They gave me a call about 3 hours later to pick her up. Pickup went smooth and and she smelled like a pumpkin pie! They told me she did really good and just let them do what they had to and her nails were trimmed down nicely (I was worried because her quik grew out). This time we put in the notes "focus on paws and sanitary" since that's what they always seem to neglect. I even told them face to face when we went in to focus on those areas. When we picked him up his paws were awful. They said he peed while they were blow drying him so they had to stop. Why would you wash, blow dry, and then come back to trim the paws? That was clearly a lie since we were the ones to bring it up in the first place. He did not get a sanitary trim either and I'm guessing they didn't do the anal gland expression since he left streaks on our couch a day later. When we brought him back so they could finish, the lady behind the counter was pretty rude to the other employee. "Well are they going to pay for it??" The other employee seemed to be taking the blame when she wasn't even the one who trimmed and bathed him the 1st time. I can tell you the reason he peed is because he was caged up for 3 hrs. Yes, he is anxious going in there but the blow dryer didn't scare him. He puts his face right into a leaf blower at home. Then when we brought him back we had to wait 45 min. We have had horrible grooming experiences here. Pay lots of money for minimal effort. Employees seem to be doing the bare minimum and no one is held accountable. Go to Chews 4 Paws down the street and they will take care of your dog 10x better than Petsmart. Plus they don't have attitude.

Unfortunately I trusted the Zoom Room website that their trainers would ensure a safe environment…read more My 11.4 pound puppy attended a puppy playgroup and less than 10 minutes into the session was stepped on by a very large Great Dane puppy. My puppy screamed in pain and the "trainer" started yelling at me to "get out!" and as I carried my screaming puppy out he mockingly shouted to all the other owners "She's just a drama queen!" My puppy would not bear weight on the injured foot. X-rays showed there were no broken bones, so the veterinarian bandaged her leg and we waited a week until the bandage was removed to find out if she needed an MRI to assess ligament injury. Fortunately when her bandage was removed she was no longer lame so no ligament injury. We had an almost $500 veterinary bill from her injury at the Zoom Room and the owner/manager never contacted us. The "trainer" said he would refund our $25 puppy play group fee and did not.

We were impressed with how clean the place smelled. Most places involving dogs, there is always a faint or not-so-faint smell of dog, but with zoom room, you never could tell dogs were in there when it came to smell. Also a bonus is their amazing selection of dog treats and toys! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We met Colin, the owner and trainer, for orientation and he was awesome at explaining everything from training to their philosophy to what is expected of dog owners and what we need to do to see results with our puppy. With our schedule, we have been mostly in training classes with Ray (sorry, if I misspelled that!) and she is amazing! Gatsby loves her and so do we! We and Gatsby are always learning something new with each class that we never would've picked up from online or trying to train by ourselves. The trainers are very passionate about dog training and it definitely shows in classes. The best and most important part about Zoom Room, that we love the most, is their philosophy on only using positive training techniques and avoiding negative ones at all cost. We highly recommend this place if you're looking for a clean, safe facility with friendly and kind staff, and passionate trainers for your pup!

While I don't blame Aquaholics for this, I blame the young man who sold it to us for not educating us about the possibilities because there is no way we would have taken a chance with our boy's life. But like I said, it was a 1 off incident and James, the owner of Aquaholics reached out personally to offer his condolences and help. He treated me like a grieving friend and I appreciate that from him. He has a wonderful shop and is a kind man.
