I sent the owners a very polite email with the medical bills records, and the photo of her injury asking for reimbursement and they said she was not injured (which she obviously was) and they would not even reimburse the grooming despite her injury. They said due to the waiver I signed they were not liable however the waiver does not mention injury due to their negligence. The owner further refused to provide me their insurance information. So, this place used to be good & reliable. That was until these new folks bought it. The shelves are nearly empty and a couple of employees are just rude. For a few years, we had to special order food for a special needs dog, and it was never an issue. These folks take over and they can't get the pricing right and literally argue with me about what I paid last time I had to speak to the owner just to get the pricing right. It's always a fight every time I went in to pick up this food. The last time was it for me. I go in to get this food and there isn't any. The lady tells me they have a problem with the vendor. Well, they know that this food has been special ordered for a few years and it's the only food that my dog can have. Had I not gone in there I would not have known that they had not even ordered it and they had no intention of saying anything to me. I got lucky that I had a little bit left, because if I was completely out when I ran in there to pick up the food that they promised they always have for me, my dog would've been in trouble. I had to really scrounge around to find that food again from somebody else. I explained to the new place what had happened and they swore to me that they would never be that horrible at customer service. I now have to drive pretty far to pick this food up, but it is so worth it not to have the headaches anymore. Finding someplace else was the best thing we ever did. read more

Aside from almost completely empty shelves, the 3 rawhide treats costing a total of $53.00 made all three of my dogs sick. Really sick. Not only did Mo not want to call the manufacturer to see why this might have happened, she basically told me to deal with it. "Not all treats sit well with all dogs..." I could accept that if it was only 1 of my dogs, but not all 3. I shopped often here when it was See Spot. I won't be shopping there anymore. Hard pass. read more

A general PSA about the horrible experience we had at see spot shop next to Safeway. I never write a review or let folks know about issues publicly, however this experience and the owner feedback made me feel that I should. You can see how long his tail is - that's how his hair used to be.. We spent close to $300 on grooming at see spot shop, and dropped off our golden doodle. At intake, I gave clear instructions to TRIM lightly (we have a big fluffy guy). Y'all when I tell you I laughed when he walked out of the back room, he was scalped! I politely asked the manager and she said next time provide better instructions so I left. I called back to speak with her and she said she can't authorize a refund and will speak with the owner, and even then emailed me and said that she made a mistake and will get back to me. Well I received an email today with $10 off next time and owner said no refund as it's not warrented. I know this is a whiny post but for someone like myself who js always so respectful, a small business owner, kind and apologetic, I really was floored by this. Attaching photos, but just a really poor experience. We shop there for food and will no longer do that in addition to this horrible experience. NOTE - he still had dirt all over it was like they didn't even wash him! Crazy The fluffy before pics and the horrible after - also attached the email that claimed responsibility but then did nothing. The reasoning - his hair was matted on his ear and butt so he had to be shaved LOL how does that add up?? We've had a doodle for 5 years and never had this before. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE read more

They always do a great job with our dogs nail trims. We're always able to get them right in on short notice.

The groomer did a lovely job on the dogs and they were in good spirits when I picked them up. I had them do the extra "Furminator" treatment on both dogs and week later, they're still soft (that has never happened before). It's perhaps a bit on the expensive side compared to what our vet charges but overall, I think it's a better value. Note that the groomer takes appointments before the retail store opens so if you arrive and they appear closed, don't freak out. Knock on the door and they'll let you in. :) read more

I've taken my dogs to the groomer here twice and both times have been extremely satisfied. I have a very large Doberman and a rottweiler, both who don't get alone well with other dogs. They always accommodate first/morning appointments for us to make sure all dogs are taken care of, safe, and as anxiety-free as can be. Before she takes then back, she always confirms what they need, and the dogs are always happy when I come to pick them up. After, the groomer is amazing at communicating what happened and how they were. I highly recommend this place! read more

My dog is picky with her treats and this is the perfect place for her! They have a great assortment of treats and chew sticks. We got her a "bully stick" made out of beef tendon from here and the man said it would probably take her a few weeks to chew through. 2 days later we came back to buy her an even longer one because she just demolished the first one. I've been taking my 3 dogs here since they opened the doors, but have failed to be a good Yelper until now. I have an 7lb schnoodle, a 40lb aussie mix and a 60lb senior chow shepherd, all with a huge variety of different grooming and dietary needs. My dogs LOVE to come here for grooming. I am slightly particular about the cuts my dogs get (I'm a hairdresser), especially on my schnoodle, and and they've nailed it every time! My Chow mix is aloof and nervous by nature, but her tail starts wagging in the car when we pull up, and when she's done she's floofy and beautiful. My aussie mix is short hair so he just really needs a bath and a few extra belly rubs. The prices on the grooming are so reasonable compared to what's in my area (Cave Creek) that it's so worth the drive, and the staff and groomers have always been courteous and prompt! We never have to wait long for our dogs to be done. Their Scottsdale location is closer to me and I visit regularly to buy food (they don't yet offer grooming there yet). The staff at both locations are so well educated on the products they carry. You may feel the food selection is a little pricier, but the quality is so superior it has even helped my senior dog dramatically improved the quality of her life. I love knowing that I'm supporting a local business when I spend my money here. Don't hesitate, this place is terrific! read more
