It's a really good store. If you were out of food for your puppy, I highly recommend recommend the store.

I would have given this place 0 stars but for the helpful employee who was very nice and helped us select various dry foods to try for our sick dog who won't eat much unless he really likes it. She reassured us we would return them if he didn't like them. And the website confirmed this. I assume they do this because people would be too hesitant to try buying new foods out of fear that their dog won't eat it and having all that money go to waste. It's a good business practice because I'm sure they make more money this way. They realize that some food will be returned, but that's built into the strategy. But when I tried to return 6 different flavored bags of food, the manager, Tony, tried to make me feel like I had done something wrong by opening them and trying them. I had opened them very carefully, only a slit on the side, and only took out about 2 pieces of dry food from each bag for my dog to try. Then I taped it up to preserve the freshness. When he asked me if I had opened them all, I said yes, but explained how I had gone out of my way to not make it noticeable, and he said "That doesn't help." I'm sure it doesn't, sir. But I wanted to be considerate in case they donated the food. Then he goes on to say, "They're all the same; you could have just tried one." I pointed out that they were all different flavors, and if they didn't t like people trying different foods and returning them, then they should instruct their employees not to encourage the practice. This guy doesn't realize that business is all about the customer experience. This is the first time I had bought food here, and it will be the last time. I have three dogs who eat a lot. Somehow, he thought it worth giving me attitude than win a loyal customer forever. It was about $86 I was returning worth of food. Do he have any idea how much money they would have made from me over the course of several years? And what did the attitude accomplish? Absolutely nothing. I wasn't doing anything wrong. He gained nothing by giving me hard time. All he did was screw the store out of a potential lifetime customer. If they don't want people to take advantage of the policy, then they shouldn't have it. read more

The employees have no common knowledge of service dogs rights in the state of California. My experience was awful and the store manager talked to me like I was beneath him. i Highly recommend that who ever goes there, that they know exactly the kind of people they are going to be giving their money too. read more

My husband, myself and our pup, Olive, had the pleasure of attending their grand opening. We were warmly greeted before stepping foot inside and while browsing, many of the staff were very attentive to our needs. Emily and Hector, in particular, were awesome! The store is clean, vast and stocked with basic and unique items for pets that include: birds, reptiles, fish, rodents, dogs and cats. There is also a nice self wash center for those dirty pups! ;-) They also offer a member card. It's completely free and gives you great sales and members only prices. We were informed that if you sign up, you can take advantage of their self wash center for FREE until June 28th. The food selection is great - lots of choices. Prices are decent if they are on sale and if you have a membership card for the discounts (membership is free). Just a heads up, starting 4/2/2020 they are not taking returns due to the covid19 situations. Be wary of purchasing big food products if you don't know if your pet will like it. Thankfully I was able to return mine out of courtesy because I had called prior to that day and they did not tell me they were going to enact this rule. Staff was good. Located between Sprouts and a Banfield Pet Hospital, this pet supply store is super convenient. It's also very appealing to the eye, with it's bright green decor, and well organized aisles. It makes you want to shop. I picked up some harnesses with handles on them because my beagles are not very obedient, and these handles come in handy. I also bought my brats some sweet potato and molasses doggy ice cream. The store carries all the major brands of food and snacks for dogs, and even some harder to find high grade items. And some pretty tasting looking treats. Check out my pics. Not sure if it was intentional or not, but in some ways it looks like they copied Sprouts with the bulk item, self-serve treats. Sprouts for dogs! I presume they offer similar products for cats, but I didn't check because I'm a crazy dog lady, not a crazy cat lady. If you join their club (no charge) and get a card, you can get special deals/pricing and coupons on some items. Oh yes, and what really caught my eye was the self serve dog wash at the back of the store. I'm a big fan of these because my guys are big shedders and it's a huge mess to bathe them at home. I look forward to visiting again when I do my Sprouts shopping. And the beagles look forward to it too. They've already given me a shopping list for my next visit. But they said they don't want to come with me because no way in heck am I going to trick them into getting into that self dog wash. P.S. Grand opening coming up this weekend! read more

This pet store was first recommended to us by a friend a couple of years ago, and we have been going back there ever since. The prices of their products are comparable to other stores along with the products they carry. However, one service we really like that others do not provide is their dog wash. You're given 30 minutes to wash and dry your pet, and they even provide you with towels and brushes. Forgot your dog soap? No problem, because you can select shampoo/conditioner as an option when you're washing during the wash, along with the regular plain water rinse. We own a husky, so, he like to talk during his baths. I take that as him enjoying every minute of it! read more

The service here is no longer the same. I miss the old management and policies of the store. You need to have your credit card that you ordered with you. We are in the year 2023 and my cards are unfortunately virtual. Please consider firing the manager and adopting policies that work for the new technology. Also it is unfortunate that our Driver's License is not a good enough form of an identification either, therefore you may as well consider to stop allowing orders from online. read more

Free of grain, corn, wheat, animal byproducts, artificial preservatives, colors and flavors. My dogs absolutely love it. Large variety of toys and accessories you won't find anywhere else. I give the employees at this store 5 stars! They are friendly, helpful and seem to enjoy their job at this establishment. I'd give the quality of this store a 3/5. As a fellow pet industry worker I am not the biggest fan of the lower end quality foods/treats the store carries. There's a huge variety but for someone that is extremely particular with their pets, the options are much more limited at this store. Hope to see a better selection in the future! read more

We love shopping online at pet supplies plus in Upland. Typically we would prefer to go in person; however, I don't have to worry about ordering online and doing either curbside pick up or delivery when I'm ordering from pet supplies plus. Everyone is so nice and if they are out of anything they call and let you know and they have really good recommendations that you could have in place of anything that's out of stock. They take care in packing the items and their delivery service is awesome. We always look forward to the little notes we get with each online order. When you become a member you also get great deals and discounts via email. read more

The staff here has always been very friendly and helpful. I take our pups here to wash there. It's convenient and I rarely ever need to wait. Very good selection of food and treats too. However, I'm pretty bothered by the STEEP increase in the wash pricing. It jumped 40%. I can understand small and gradual increases but this is ridiculous!! read more

As far as pet supply stores go this place is great. Their selection of smaller healthy brands is good and they arent priced ridiculously high either. There are coupons on the back of vons receipts and they send out local mail coupons as well. Always good deals and extra sales in store too. Friendly workers and they do adoption days with the local shelters to help doggies find interested people. read more

Just called Pet Supplies Plus in upland and asked if they would match Pet Food Express in Pasadena's price on a 25 pound bag of dog food which is 72.99 and there's is 78.99 also at pet food express any time you buy 3 bags of the same brand dog food in the same size bag you get the fourth one free ( this is their policy not a special). Now i have been under the impression that Pet Supplies Plus had better prices and if not they would match other stores prices but I was definitely wrong. The difference I would save is more than $100 by getting 4 bags. Also to be completely upfront Pet Supplies Plus said they would match the price of the bag but not give you the fourth one free. Needless to say I will start shopping for my dogs food at Pet Food Express and it is a very beautiful store. read more

I like this place. The owner is nice. Well stocked. But today I bought the deal to wash my puppy. As I tried to wash my puppy in the small tub. It didn't work. I asked them to turn it on. A male employee came and told me that I had to use the large tub. I pointed to the sign that said 30 pounds or less I could use a small tub. I just had my puppy at the veterinarian and she weighed only 26 pounds. I also told him I had a really bad back and I could not bend over using the large tub and my dog was a service dog. He told me that I had to use the large tub and that was it. He was very rude. So I'm not sure if I will return after that. One bad employee can ruin the whole store. read more
