Runnnnnnnn! Do not take your pet for grooming here ever!!!! I had the worst experience took my maltipoo and they shaved him down so bad and left him with bald spot patches and left all the hair on his face they didn't want to continue maybe it was for the best but I cannot believe they left him the way they did and still had the nerve to charge me

I wanted to get my dog some obedience training so I asked Dr. Bory @petvets, his advice is highly regarded. We were told that Barbie at Upland PetSmart is a phenomenal trainer and great person. We have attended beginner and intermediate classes with Barbie and our experience has been awesome. Barbie creates classes that are personable and pay attention to each individual's needs, dogs and people alike. Our dog has anxiety issues and we have made big strides thanks to Barbie's expertise, we had become discouraged prior to Barbie's classes. We quickly understood why Barbie had been so highly recommended. Great person, casual atmosphere, obvious expertise and all around positive and professional experience. We also saw how Barbie is a presence in the operation of the whole store, she would be a valuable asset as a manager for PetSmart. Big thanks to Dr Bory for the recommendation and bigger thanks to Barbie!

We have been bringing our dogs here for a while now. The initial problem arose when they refused to accommodate one of our dogs because she is handicapped. Though I did not agree, I accepted it. The most recent incident involved them calling us from a veterinary office because they accidentally injured my dog. Today, once again they cut my dog, the same issue occurred but no call this time, and I cannot comprehend their carelessness. Do you really think Petsmart cares about animals? I have no intention of returning to this place again.

Was in this petsmart shopping around and saw this chinchilla, which looked so sad. They are not taking care of this animal properly as it had no water or food in its cage. I grew up with two chinchillas and know how to take care of them. They need to have a dust bowl to roll in for their fur/hygiene. The cage was filled with poop. Please if you're in this location say something to the workers, this is not okay. I tried speaking with someone there but they were a new employee and didn't have an answer for me. The store was very busy at the time I went. This is unacceptable for an animal

I took both of my dogs to Petsmart Upland for training after reading great things about Barbie! She did not disappoint!! This girl has a magic formula for getting dogs to listen. Although I will never be as good as her, she always had a brilliant suggestion for any issue you have with your dog. Lucky is now 2 YO and is such a good boy! Lila is still a puppy but is pretty good too!

This is my favorite pet store. I am an avid fish lover. I started off with my 75 gallon tank with the help of the wonderful staff of this particular PetSmart. I wish I could remember all the names but I promise to update this as soon as I find out all of the names starting off with Edward. The ladies were as knowledgeable and helpful too. I keep coming back for more that I really have to control myself or I'll end up over crowding my tankful of GloFish. :)

Honestly have been bringing him here for the past 5 years and these last 3 times I have taken him either the girls in grooming have horrible attitude and he has come back the last 2 times cut up. He is not a fussy dog at all.

Shar pei who's is according to expert jade, contagious. Bleh.

We have waited wayyyy too long to post this review and I can confidently say even after 6 months…read moretraining has stuck with my pups! Our pug Boba, who is 6 years old, had a huge issue with barking and reactivity. Before training, anytime there was a loud noise, another dog, or even a person just a few feet away from us, he would immediately start barking and getting worked up to the point where he would do that pug scream, and no amount of reassuring would help. Walks were stressful and we constantly felt on edge trying to manage his reactions. Working with Yasin made such a difference. He was incredibly patient and really took the time to explain why Boba was reacting the way he was and what we could do about it. Instead of just trying to stop the barking in the moment, he helped us understand how to work through the behavior step by step. Everything he taught us felt realistic and doable in everyday life, which made it so much easier to actually stick with. One of the biggest moments for us was when we took Boba and his sister with us on a trip to Joshua Tree. Before training, something like that would have been stressful and probably not even enjoyable. But because of everything we learned from Yasin, it ended up being such a pleasant vacation. At one point we even stood and ate at a restaurant for almost two hours with multiple dogs around us, some of them were even reactive, and Boba was such a model citizen the entire time. It honestly felt amazing to see the difference. Because of Yasin's training, we actually feel confident bringing our dogs on vacations now, which is something we never thought we'd be able to do. Boba is a completely different dog in the best way possible, and we also feel so much more confident as owners because we now have the tools to handle situations that used to feel overwhelming. If you have a reactive dog or feel overwhelmed with training, we definitely recommend working with Yasin. He really cares about the dogs and the owners, and it shows.

Blue was three years old when I adopted him from the shelter and had been there for two years, essentially his entire life. He has a positive attitude and genuinely cares about his clients and their dogs. I truly wish I had found him sooner. The most we've ever had to wait is about 15 to 20 minutes. Today, was no different, walked in at 10:15a, let them know that we needed a nail trim, the associate said that the earliest they can get us in was not till 12 PM without an appointment. An appointment? I explained to them that in the five years we've been going to them for nail grinds (which is pretty frequent) we've never had to make an appointment. That's when she said that making appointment has always been in place. So, I walked out, came over to The Good Dog. The General Manager greeted us, even while working with another customer. Listening how he handled the other two customers in front of us (who appeared to be regulars) set the tone that this is a friendly place that we want to be a part of. You know, it's like "Cheers," you wanna go where everyone knows your name! Well, they were able to get us in right away. They advised we typically do not need to make an appointment for nail grind, but to simply call up to make sure they are not busy at the moment, otherwise can get in quickly. I think that's reasonable, fair enough AND smart! "Thanks, Good Dog!"

They offered medical wipes for my dog's injury and a complete re-grooming with a different groomer. I chose not to continue patronage, but the offer and continued open communication was very appreciated. Original Review: This is the first time I've been to this location and decided to go here due to the large number of good reviews. They were able to fit my appointment in very last minute, less than 24hrs notice, super friendly staff, and lots of merchandise. Also great cut options avaliable for someone new, trying to figure out what a new groomer can do with a new client. Asked them to brush his teeth and grind his nails, to which they accomplished (at least his breath smells better). With that said, I was told they would contact me 20 minutes before he's ready for pickup, they did not. They messaged me when he was done. No big deal. When I picked him up, immediately noticed the uneven cut job. As we're driving home, noticed A BUNCH of dirt left in his coat. Makes me question if they bathed him, and if they did, they didnt do a good thorough job. Also started to notice the uneven cut throughout his body, from his stomach where they left bunches of fur, to his back, which seemed as though they used two sizes for razors. They cut him (most likely by accident) but just reinforces my suspicion that they rushed through his entire "grooming". For the $100 package, counting $15 for dental/nail grinding, I can't say I'm not disappointed. Unfortunately, will not be coming back. Sincerely disappointed :( I will have to bathe him again, give him a complete haircut, and finish areas they didnt even attempt too, such as the hair under his nose going into his mouth.

Since he was a puppy, Rocky struggled with allergies and recurring skin issues that worsened over time, leading to multiple rounds of antibiotics that we later realized were hard on his gut. He was getting other side effects from the aftermath of the medications. Allie helped us take a more proactive approach, focusing on healing his gut and addressing the root causes instead of just managing symptoms. She always has thoughtful solutions and backup options to help manage flare-ups without immediately turning to antibiotics. I appreciate her insight so much during those times where we just want to give Rocky some relief. She's also educated us on raw feeding, ingredient quality, food processing, and supplements, which has been incredibly valuable. Allie is so thorough, caring, and genuinely invested in our dogs like they are her own. We trust her completely and are so grateful for the positive impact she's had on Rocky's health. Testimonial for Allie owner of Rogue K9 Academy - A Life-Changing Experience…read more My in person experience with Rogue K9 Academy has been nothing short of exceptional--truly rewarding and life-changing for both my girls, Kat and Athena, and for me. Both of my dogs are Belgian Malinois rescues: Kat was adopted at around 8 months old, and Athena came to me at just 8 weeks. Before finding Rogue K9, I worked with two different trainers who both immediately resorted to using e-collars--without any foundational training. Kat, who had already endured a difficult time in the shelter, became compliant but fearful. I was told more than once that because of her history, Kat wouldn't be able to achieve much and would be difficult to train. It was heartbreaking to see training become something she feared. Everything changed when I found Rogue K9 Academy. To my relief, we didn't start with an e-collar. Instead, I was introduced to the Foundation Style Dog Training (FSDT) program. This method allows training to focus on building a strong, trusting relationship first and gradually working up from basic obedience to advanced skills. Through this program, not only did my dogs gain confidence, but I learned how to understand them better--especially Kat. Slowly but surely, my girls began to flourish. It brings me overwhelming joy to see how much they've grown--not just in their skills but in their overall happiness and confidence. Perhaps the most incredible part of our journey is that Kat, once thought to be untrainable and "too damaged" to succeed, is now a trained protection dog. I am forever grateful to Rogue K9 Academy for their guidance that helped me build a deep, trusting bond with my girls that I never imagined possible.

He has a lot of energy and can get very intense. Before training, life with Lucky was somehow stressful. He barked at almost anyone who came close to my mom, especially my dad. Walks were also difficult because he constantly pulled on the leash and would get tangled around my legs. Then we started training with Arturo, and things began to change much faster than I expected. What impressed me the most was that every single day we trained with him, I could see real improvement. It wasn't just small changes either. Lucky began to calm down and focus. Walking him is now completely different. I can comfortably walk and even jog with him, which used to feel impossible. Another big change is how Lucky reacts to other dogs. Before, he would bark back and get into a defensive mode. Now he stays calm and has learned to ignore other dogs. Even at home, the difference has been huge. My dad can now walk in and out of the room without Lucky barking at him, which used to happen all the time. One of my favorite moments now is when we go to the park. Lucky is relaxed, happy, and confident. Sometimes he even sits or rolls onto his back during our walks, which shows just how comfortable he has become. The only challenge we still have is that my mom is still velcro with Lucky. She loves him so much that she still lets him sleep in her room, even though we've been told giving him a little more space would help build his confidence. Overall, I can confidently say Arturo is simply the best! He gave us the tools and confidence to handle our dog the right way. What I also appreciate is that many of the lessons he teaches go beyond dog training. The ideas about consistency, behavior, and leadership apply to people too!
