I had never been to a pet store where they didn't fully refund you your money back when returning a bag of dog food. I usually get my dogs Stella and Chewy's limited ingredient lamb recipe but they didn't have Lamb on duck when I went to pick up their food. I decided to get the duck but it did not sit well with my dog and he throws up hours after eating the food. I was shocked when they said their policy is they will only give back 50% of the purchase because the bag was open and they don't know for sure it's the food that is making my dog sick. I KNOW it's the only thing that is making my dog throw up. I don't agree that they are keeping a profit of the purchase since Stella and Chewy's is a 100% money back guaranteed if it's returned. It's shady and Pet Supplies Plus is taking advantage of their customers by doing so. I will no longer be shopping here. I have also contacted Stella and Chewy's to let them know about what happened and they agreed that shouldn't have been the case. read more

Walked in looking for Halloween costumes for my dog and ended up with a batman cape. Also picked up treats, a new bag of food, and some Aspen bedding for my iguana too. They sell lizards, hamsters, parakeets, and a variety of fish in the back. Lots of variety of dog food! Two whole isles dedicated to your fur child. Dogs are welcomed to come inside too. I had a woman help me find what I needed for an iguana and she was so nice! She printed a whole guide on how to properly care for it. She went above and beyond trying to help. Before I went to the store, I got a phone call from this store and the girl said my order have to be canceled because the coupon code was NOT VALID at that time. My order was already being made and that was went through by card. I asked her why and she just repeated that the code is not valid at this time. I've recently started shopping here and stopped going to PetSmart. My dogs love the food I buy here and I love feeling like I'm supporting a community store. But today I had a bad experience and I don't think I will be back. My husband went to pick up a bag of dog food (Diamond Naturals all life stages chicken and rice) when he put it in the car the bag literally split open and spilled everywhere in his car! He called the store to see if there was anything we could do, as far as switch it out or even a discount on another bag since a lot of this ended up in his seats and floor boards and all over the sidewalk in front of my house when we tried to switch it to the air tight container we keep it in and they were so rude! Rather than any bit of concern they were quick to accuse it of being his fault and said they would not help at all. Obviously I don't want to feed my dogs food that's been all over the dirty ground. It was absolutely terrible customer service. The bag literally split the whole way down the side. There's no way that happened in transport. I foster dogs as well and have been giving this place business steady 2-3 times a month and for that level of unconcern, it was quite disheartening. I'm happy that I found this pet supplies store around end of 2017. I usually go to Petco to buy food and other things for my gas, Leo, but I felt like it is overpriced and service was meh. Over here... omg superb customer service! All the staffs are very helpful and nice. One of them introduce me to a new food brand, since the one I used to use increased its price and my gsd loves the one she recommended. She ask recommended to add pumpkin to it as well, and it was great for my gsd. The price for toys and food are reasonable and I love how they have coupons that I can use. I use to love coming however, today has changed it all. I loved their dog wash station. And they have always let me use the lifted station for my 45lb pit. Today when I went in the manager told me I couldn't use it. Now I am a manager of a store and let me say I was shocked!! Yes she was smiling but her answers were belittling. She stated that it has always been the rule for 35lb dog however I told her I had been coming for about a year and they had always let me. She was not even apologetic just rude. If I could give negative stars I would. This place is complete crap. Joe the manager is a joke and the owner who is "on call" has no idea how to run a business and provide customer service. You want your business to grow you run then like every other business. The return and exchange policy is 30 days but guess for someone who literally walks outside the door realized they bought the wrong size in an over priced dog costume because my 3 year old son wanted his puppy to match his woody costume. I literally walked to my car realized I got the medium as I had my 3 yr old with me came right back and asked for a small and they are telling me it will cost me 3 dollars more when actually it's a smaller size it should cost less actually but because I'm supportive to this business (NOT ANY LONGER) was on the mailing list and took advantage of their coupons and discounts, why not? The sale transaction had the discount and for some reason this Joe joke of a manager guy was an asshole because he never makes mistakes in picking wrong sizes for his dogs clothes says he couldn't do anything about it and that I couldn't reuse the coupon. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what happened here I'm not reusing the coupon you stupid moron i am exchanging an item for the wrong size.
