Loved our dogs and they were always excited to see him well we found out Things happen and he no longer is there we took a chance until we could find Samson and let Rachel groom one she was so awful chopped up my dogs hair injured her tail stressed my dog so much by the bad treatment I was furious I ent back just to watch her and the way she holds the dogs is Rough! She was working on a small dog and holding its poor leg so tight being rough with the trimmer the Nuse I call it that hold the dogs head up was so tight my heart sank I reported her to management all I can do is tell everyone beware I wouldn't take any of my dogs back there to her I feel she shouldn't be allowed to groom after what we went thru and what I witnessed read more

Awesome Petco store, spacious and big. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have on site dog grooming and puppy classes. They also have a clinic to bring your animals in if they need any medical attention. First time I took my dog there there was a couple other dogs there that were friendly, so you don't have to worry about vicious animals but still keep an eye out. The staff was super nice to my dog and even gave him a few free treats. All in all rounded up a good store good environment good stuff good people. read more

I love Petco but this store by far is my favorite. They are caring and knowledgeable. I've taken my dogs to clinic when it comes and it's always clean. My one dog had a reaction to the shot and the staff was caring and even called a few days later to make sure he and I was okay. Jesse and his staff are Amazing. I can say i only leave reviews if i've had a horrendous experience somewhere. This petco location is one of them. Not only can i not get a hold of the grooming center or the front desk over the phone, but when i go in person i was told i have to book an appointment online. Noted you cannot book cat grooming appointments online. I can easily say i will no longer be a customer of Petco and my kitten deserves better than that. read more

I love this place, I have had the opportunity to have my Lab/collie sent here for a shampoo and cut as well as I get supplies. The salon is great! The staff inside are Definantly helpful, they cut/trim and wash and apply every detail. They care about handling of the furbabie and make sure they are comfortable. They always supply coupons after the cut and have available discounts constantly. The store is usually empty and sometimes there is a lot of staff and sometimes there is a little. But the store is never packed. They have a good verity of dog food and cat foods... dog treats and cat treats... toys... as well as guinea pigs, rats, mice, birds, Ferrits, turtles, fish, snakes, lizards, and other loving animals. The store is pet friendly and awesome treats for you babies at the cash register. Depending on what staff is working, they can be very helpful. read more

I've been here a few times, it's usually a hit or a miss on service. Ran some errands with my puppy he was good so we went in to get him a treat. Friendly service today maybe it was because Max is so friendly. I need to get his nails trimmed but I'm so nervous to do it and the girl working the front counter I believe her name was Cassidy showed me which part needs to be cut on him. He's a ham and loved the attention.. He definitely wants to go back lol but like I said its a hit or a miss I have walked out before because I couldn't find anyone to check me out. And I've waited like 15 minutes just for them to send someone to the fish tank section for me. They pick up (no word is said - but you can hear the music and background noise) put you on hold then pick up again (with no words just noise) and hold again. Every single Line! If I could give this place a zero I would. I called in the store earlier today for puppy vaccinations. I was told to come in before 6pm and I could get shots for my puppy. I took time off work at 2:13 pm brought in my puppy. I was told to go in the back of store. Then I see 4 girls sitting on the floor that do vaccinations. I ask are you the lady that does vaccinations. She says yes, But all 4 of us are on break until 3pm. That's is the most dumbest thing I ever witnessed who all takes breaks at the same time. Leaving the business unmanageable until 3. Then the lady says we don't have to technically talk to because we are on our lunch break.Then the lady said how long have you had the puppy ? I said 4 or 5 days. She said you need to own the puppy for a week. Then another lady says the puppy needs to be at least 2 pounds. I began to feel very frustrated so I had to remove myself from the scene. I go to my car call the manager while in the parking lot. I told her what happened, then while responding back she makes a fake phone staticky noise begins to act like she can't hear me then hangs up. So I decided to go back in the store. Talked to the manager that made that dumb phone drop while. 150 feet away from the store. Laughable. We go to the back talks to the Vets. And I began to show my frustration that they should of told me all these requirements before I came in and wasted my time of the day. The lady responded it wasn't us you talked to it was petco we're just vets. We usually tell people the requirements. So I was frustrated of the miscommunication from the manager and the lady vets who should be telling customers requirements not just saying show up. AND they SHOULD OF TOLD ME THAT 2-3pm vets are on lunch break. Horrible experience horrible management. 0 stars read more

Worst customer service I've seen in a long time. Ethan is supposedly a manager. All he did was make excuses. Told me to wait 20-30 minutes for one fish. That to tell you the truth, would probably end up dying in a few days due to diseases at chain pet stores. Zach was also full of excuses. Ethan told me he has to unload the truck, so that is more important than customers? Unfortunately, without customers he wouldn't be having to unload shipment due to the store shutting down. Let's just start with this was one of the worse experiences I've ever had in this store. The manager and pet care associate would not allow us to purchase a tank and fish of our pick. They told us we needed a 10 gallon in order to get 2 fresh water fish. Which is fine, but found a 5 gallon and wanted to purchase one fish and they continued to not allow us to purchase. I've never felt so discriminated and I've never seen workers so lazy and couldn't do there job after we did what they "recommend".... I'll never purchase from this pet store ever. Very poor quality of aquatic life specially saltwater. First and last time I ever buy from Petco. Purchased a high end saltwater fish, within hours it died. I have been in the hobby for about 3 years and now and never has this happened. I called the manager was very unhelpful and lacked customer service. read more

Went there today to buy some fish, took our time looking, okay decided, not a soul anywhere to help us, finally a young lady came and she was helpful! They were out of one I wanted but that's okay, the reason for not 5 stars, was the hunt and wait for someone to help, but I will return another day! By the way hardly anyone , saw no one else, in store so was surprised no help in fish area! Had been to Two different Petsmarts recently and each time there were 2 to 3 employees in fish department! Today will be the SECOND and LAST time they injure my dog while giving grooming her. They caused a blood blister by my pups eye the last time and this time they snipped the back of her leg. Now she has half a hair cut and is sedated next to me at home with her leg wrapped up. :( The last time we had to take it upon ourselves to take her to the vet, this time the manager had to rush her over. & they took care of the expenses (the reason for two stars). This company has hit the toilet. Bring your dog in and the dog is scared tail tucked and shaking when you get your dog bag from grooming. They fired everyone who was good with dogs. My impression is they beat the dogs to get them to obey. Never again. read more

I have never gotten a sick fish from this location unlike the petsmart in metro center. They have nicely set up tanks for a large pet store which means healthier fish. Petsmart should take note. They get done really nice saltwater stock sometimes and have a nice selection of community freshwater fish. They have nicer plants than petsmart as well. read more

The manager Amanda Bergman is amazing! I brought in my Gustav and Gunter and you can tell she was genuinely happy to see them and interact with them. She was extremely helpful showing me around and was very knowledgeable about the different products. If I could give a lower score I would. My fiancé decided to purchase a dog training package for our pup. Unfortunately, I was very displeased with the experience. The first 2 sessions included walking my dog around the store for about 10 to15 minutes while the trainer (Gina) was elsewhere in the store on her phone. Each time, the trainer stated that she would not charge these sessions against our training package. I thought that was good since not much had been done. After the third session of the same, we decided to get a refund. Unfortunately, that did not happen. The trainer did in fact charge us and informed us that no refund would be given. The reason was that on the contract it states that refunds will only be given at the beginning of the second training session if the customer is dissatisfied with the service. It is definitely unfortunate that a company of this magnitude would treat paying customers in this manner. Over $200 down the drain but lesson learned. I will not utilize this store for any purchases and will frequent their competition...dog training..BUYER BEWARE!! read more
