I came in at 10:15am and got asked for an "appointment " and got told that there was only one person handling this and that they can only start the process at 11am. This is my 4th BMW and the reason I come to this place because they have the car I wanted and it's the only 1 in the area. The sale manager Henry was rude on the phone and in person, he sounded like he doesn't want any business. I don't understand how you can sell anything with this attitude. I also don't understand how they get 4 stars on Yelp, probably paid Yelp for the ratings. We decided to not purchase here and went to Mountain View BMW because of the better service. Came in looking for a sports car, since all my friends are getting new cars lately, and set my eyes upon the new BMW i8. Asking price was around $144,000 give or take the custom additions. It's really hard to get help here, you can basically walk around and not be seen or heard which is odd for a dealership. They had a used black one that the owner just drove for 9 months and returned that I thought might have been a good option. Usually they keep these vehicles locked but when a sales man Ray walked over, he was approachable and cool. He told me his thoughts on the car, and we chatted for a bit. I was telling him it's really not the price of the car that I worry about. It's the insurance, and leaving it on city streets when I'm dining at restaurants. Nothing like someone nicking or denting it to ruin the value. That's what happened to my current sports car. I really liked how the i8 is a hybrid so that it's a sport car that also saves gas. I also really like the doors that open upwards. He was really cool to talk to, and I was thinking of buying it, but everything has to be run by the sales manager who was less than friendly when it came to negotiating or answering any questions I may have. The sales manager really didn't want to budge on the price, since he said they were in high demand. He also left without answering my questions or giving me more of his time. The sales manager just says business is great and if I don't want to buy it someone else will. Fine, okay. You don't want to wheel and deal, that's fine. Let me say upfront that Victor is THE BEST!! I purchased a used Nissan Murano at Peter Pan BMW. I saw it advertised on Cargurus and immediately emailed the dealership asking for an "out the door" price. Victor quickly answered, asked my zip code and very shortly later provided a detailed total out the door price - exactly as I requested. I then gave Victor a $1,000 deposit over the phone to hold the vehicle until I could make the 3 to 4 hour drive to the dealership. The next morning, I met with Victor. Not only did he come in on his day off to meet with me and show me the vehicle, he had pulled the vehicle off the front lot and tucked it in the back lot. He also kept both sets of keys in his office to assure that the car would not be sold before I arrived. The car was exactly as Victor had represented it to be - completely gone through by his dealership, any necessary repairs made and the vehicle freshly detailed. He provided all paperwork before the purchase - dealer pre-sale info, inspection, carfax etc - all my copies to keep. Since I was from out of the area with no local CU branches, I had to have the funds wire transferred. Victor helped throughout this entire process, using his email, printer etc. I then proceeded to finalize all other documents with other staff after which I headed home. After the funds were transferred, Victor arranged delivery. Note that there were no required dealer add ons or mark-ups. The out the door price EXACTLY matched Victor's original email with the detailed breakdown. Amazing!! In summary, Victor was 100% honest, professional, communicated quickly, incredibly helpful and was totally transparent throughout - from my first email to the purchase/delivery. He treated me as if I were purchasing a new $100k BMW when in reality, I was purchasing a used 5year old Nissan Murano. This guy is EPIC. Thanks again Victor! read more
