I highly recommend this dealer in the Bay Area! Special shout out to my agent Khalil Manneh who is super responsible and nice in helping me finding the right cars both my friend and I are looking for. When I told him the specs of the car I liked, he will proactively start searching in inventory and keep me updated as soon as there are new refreshes. And during the car transit he will keep me posted whenever there are new updates. As a longtime Peter Pan customer since 1999 with Victor Hung, he always been serving me well and I have been buying from him ever since. Up front with great pricing and no marked-up MF like others. I just took deliver a 2022 X3 during this global chip shortage and he helped me secure a replacement just in time for my lease return. Not only the deal without the usual dealer markup but with slight discount while other dealers BMW or not all want to markup their pricing during this seller market. His assistant Chris also did a great job follow up with me on status of my order and to ensure my order process went smoothly. I have BMW dealerships closer home than Peter Pan but I still prefer to work with Victor at Peter Pan as well as Kenny Lew at their service department. read more

Incompetent customer service. I've been trying to return my lease and have emailed and called them 4 times over 2 months to plan for it. Each time they tell me they don't know how it's done and will have to get someone to call me back, but no one has ever called back. Even the financing group called to ask if I had been contacted by them. When they have reached out via email, they are only looking to get me into another lease, and ghost when I ask about how to make a return. This reinforces my bad impression of Peter Pan from the initial lease in 2016, when the lady filling out the paperwork went on and on about how great Trump was, which is just unprofessional conversation. I was able to return my lease at another dealership which took care of me right away. BMW is great, Peter Pan is not. read more

About the Sales (Mr. Yubert) : (5/5) I am quite pleased working with Mr. Yubert who handled the sales to assist me buying the 2019 X3 CPO. He was very friendly, detailed and quite patient to walk me through the features and the documentation process. All through he kept me informed. When I had a question about the "Park assist", he instantly asked me to hop on to the car and gave a demo to us; I was very impressed of his interest in the job and how much he value the customer and their interests in the vehicle. About the finance team (Mr. Tim): 2/5. I would want to make Mr. Tim understand he is in a dealership that sells premium cars, not something that anyone on the road would buy. I expect that he could do much better by being friendly, pleasant and patiently explain what the document the customer is signing and its purpose. Each day when you checkin, make a promise to yourself that you would give only positive experience to the customer, and nothing less! About the dealership: 4/5 ; Super clean dealership. The day we were going through the papers, It was quite noisy as many were just watching the TV shows and shouting(or celebrating) which was very disturbing. Absolutely the most trustworthy bmw dealer to take your bmw to. Jordan, the service advisor, is extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable about all the warranty works. We brought our bmw in to repair a fault with the catalytic converter and she immediately pointed out several cost effective options for us to proceed with the repair. Eventually, the mechanic found the problem to be with the CAT and it has to be replaced. Without our prompting, Jordan is already aware of the warranty that covers all SULEV vehicle in California, and had the BMW manufacturer covered for the repair cost. No hassle or push back. This is not the case based on my experience dealing with all the other BMW dealers in the bay area. I purchased a car online that was delivered to me as " Clean title, no accidents." I personally have very little knowledge of the mechanics of a car outside of gas and driving it. I noticed a small noise and brought the car into Peter Pan BMW to get looked at from a professional perspective. The car had been in an undisclosed accident and was fixed. This was not stated in my car fax report. I worked with Jordan and she was able to get it fixed and fortunately covered through my warranty. Looking for a new BMW? Go see RAJ at Peter Pan! I haven't written a review for several years on Yelp, but the service I received from Raj and the care, forced me to log in again and post this. Raj was patient and extremely helpful as I ordered my new M240i. He spent considerable time with me on my order, followup on tracking, questions on the car, etc. When the car finally arrived last week, he spent 2 hours with me going over the vehicle electronics, and every little detail. The pricing was very fair, and Raj has already followed up with me twice since I took delivery. Was trying to get a new car for my son for graduation. Talked to a number of dealers close and far. Others were definitely taking advantage of COVID pricing. Dealers did not know how much on to of the sticker they want to get. Some wanted ridiculous sums enough for a down payment on a new car. What was even more frustrating was that they did not even have cars they wanted to overprice. The story is too long and painful. Then I went to Peter Pan BMW and met with Khalil Manneh. Not only I was able to get a below-the-sticker price and New Grad discount, he actually found the car in Southern California distribution center so that we did not have to wait for 3 months. Then when the car arrived, the whole family was in Quarantine. He put the car on a lot with the sticker sold without even getting a penny from us. The car waited for us when we got well. I had the worst experience with this BMW dealership in San Mateo. Their customer service has definitely gotten worst over the last 3 years. The last time we returned our lease, our sales rep contacted us by phone and set us up with an early appointment to look at other cars to lease. We went through the process relatively painlessly. This time around, we were not contacted except by mail. It turns out, our sales rep left the company, and nobody picked up the usual service and communication he provided his customers. So, as working parents of young children, we put off looking for a replacement car until our lease was due. We dropped by the dealership and was told that they don't do lease returns on weekends but will make an exception if we purchased a car. We did not have time that day to car shop and had twin two-year-olds with us. I felt that this was an unreasonable request just to get our lease returned. When we explained our situation to them, they were not understanding at all and refused to make any exceptions for us unless we bought another car, even though we are returning customers and even though they changed expectations to their customers. They blamed us for not contacting them and planning ahead even though they had already set the expectations in the past to call us. When we told them that we had contacted the old sales rep the day before and that he told us to bring it in anytime and we can return it, they were not understanding at all and the manager continued to blame us for not contacting them. We ended up going to another dealership and returning our lease late. It was a really big hassle because I had to miss work on short notice and arrange for a ride home afterwards. I've been reading the yelp reviews and noticed that the manager responding to all the posts is the same manager we talked to. Let me just say, when he apologizes either on the post or in person, he does not mean it. I've seen his face and attitude when he does it. He's just saying that to get you to stop complaining, not that he actually understands your complaint or sympathize with you. He doesn't care to help you. He only wants a chance to explain to you why you are wrong and shake off any responsibility for your situation. We contacted BMW and explained when happened to us. They told us what the dealership did was actually against their rules and that as the dealership that made the lease, they were obligated to take it back. They suggested we file a complaint, which is what we'll be doing. We definitely won't be going back to this dealership again. Our friends who we recommended to this dealership (who also ended up leasing cars from them) will also not be going back after hearing about what happened to us. read more

Bought a BMW iX from Eugene at Peter Pan BMW, one of the best car purchasing experiences I've had in my life. Absolutely fantastic!

Let me first say -- Henry was very respectable and personable. It was a pleasure to interact with him. I just started my masters at UC Davis and unexpectedly, my Hyundai Sonata's engine suddenly overheated and "blew." Due to over 250,000 of the same vehicles experiencing the same devastating issue, California issued a class action lawsuit that declared her engine being under warranty. Of course my royal chariot passed a "KSDS test" that somehow allowed Hyundai to not honor the warranty. Hyundai let me know that my car was not worth anything and I would need to pay them to get rid of her. I went carless for 4 months, relying on my mother and public transit. When my dad informed me that he found the car for me and that it "was meant to be," I was beyond excited. I called the main line to see if I could come and test drive it. I was informed that the car has not undergone it's safety inspection and would not be ready to test drive until Monday/Tuesday. Later that afternoon, my dad called me and told me that he gave them his credit card and ID to hold the car and that they will have it ready for me the following day to test drive. I rushed durring my lunch hour to see my new car. Henry let me know that I was not able to do a test drive yet because they had not had time to do the safety inspection. However, I was able to see the car and sit inside of it. I asked Henry why the listing was so cheap due to the car having 28K miles and being a 2018. He reiterated that it was a great deal due to the low millage and he let me know that the low price is due to the car not being a BMW and being traded into the lot. I knew this was my future car and Henry even told me he would hold it for me. I continued to look at the listing online to show people "my future car." Two days following, the listing updated to 87,000 miles. My dad called Henry later that evening and he confirmed that the new listing was accurate. It is a good thing that I was continued to follow the listing, because neither my father nor I were informed that the car that was reserved for us was updated to have 60 thousand more miles than what we believed. Everyone makes mistakes, however, not being informed about the mistake and having to find out myself and confront the issue is less forgivable. read more

He is very responsive to our inquiries through Peter Pan website, and listened patiently on our requirements for the new car and answering questions we had, he handled the car search process very professionally and proactively and finally were able locate the car we like, and also he didn't pressure you to make decisions like other dealers, which make the whole car purchase process more relaxed and not stressful.
