Just got the worst experience ever to do a lease return here. This is my second bmw and when I lease a car there I was treated like a customer but when they know you are not buying a car from them they treat me like dirt. They had me waited over two hours and keep telling the reception to told me it's gonna be a few more minutes. Me and my wife and my 16 months old was there for an hour and we took off for lunch and came back an hour later and they still hasn't do anything for me. So I went in to there financial office and basically told them this is the worst lease return process I ever had and the other guy literally told me to get out and return the car else where! First time ever in my life has someone shout at me in a car dealership! His name is Jim. So when I pull out my phone and start recording then he change his attitude completely. I seriously think this guy will pull out a gun and shot me at the pot if he has a gun on him. Psycho! Keith is the person who helped me after two hours of wait and he "lectured" me and told me how busy he was, he has to deal with customers who is buying cars right now blah blah blah.... so I told him all you need to do is to have this conversation with me two hours ago and I can come back when you are done but he said he has a receptionist but the receptionist only told me he will be with me in a few minutes. I visited this dealer for the first time yesterday. I am interested in purchasing a new BMW. The salesman was terrible. First, he sat at his desk when I made it clear I did not want go inside because the pandemic. It look over 15 minutes to get the test drive in spite of making an appointment ahead of time. After the test drive, we had to come inside to talk to him at his desk because he just sat there. While we asked a few questions, he sat there playing with his cell phone the whole time. Never looking up. He just did not seem to care about making the sale. We went to Putnam Lexus next, where both the sales manager and salesman greeted us, spent quality time with us, visited the test drive with us. After leaving the Lexus dealer we realized how unresponsive the BMW dealer was. IF I decide to buy a BMW, it won't be from Peter Pan. I bought a 2015 BMW X1. I wanted to hook up my iPhone6S. The USB in the car would charge the phone, but there was no way to listen to music. Turns out, you need a Y-Cable from BMW to sync up your phone to play music. I called and got JEREMY WHITE (Genius Product Manager) and he explained what I needed (the cable). Given that I just bought my car a few weeks ago, he said he would try to find me a cable since he understood my frustartion in not being able to use my phone. He did find me the cable... for Free. Youbert the floor manager made the whole test driving experience very unpleasant. The way he spoke and the comments he made was unprofessional. He made us feel like we were not worth his time. One of our friend that was with us had to walk away because he couldn't stand his demeanor. We were looking for a specific model for our next dream car. However, he did not want to let us test drive at the beginning. Making excuses stating all those models were manual. Okay, that's not what your website inventory says. Then, he says you can sit in the passenger side and get the feel of the car while I drive it. okay, am I going to have you drive the car around for me if I purchase the car? Well, after finding out what we do for a living, then he decided to let us test drive the car. Thanks but no thanks. Since this experience was so unpleasant, it had sucked out the fun of the car. Two good experiences. Test drove a 335i convertible and the salesman was friendly and helpful. Sadly, the car was gone the next day before I worked up the guts to pull the trigger. Secondly, popped in to the repair shop to ask a question and set up an appointment; it was answered so efficiently that I was able to take car of the issue myself and I was back on the road in under 5 minutes, free of charge. read more

Update: the dealership is now refusing service of my vehicle to avoid lemon law. They are not able to resolve the issue and BMW is also unable to be reached. The rep I have has a full inbox and is not reachable. Avoid this dealership and BMW all together, if you have an issue they will abandon you with a problem vehicle. I am now being forced to hire an attorney to help me through this vile situation. I've had nothing but issues since purchasing a BMW X3. When I first took delivery the dealer told me it had been sitting and it is why it had some issues, that they could easily resolve. Needless to say the car was in the shop for a week, to replace the battery, parking brake sensors and do all of the reprogramming. During this visit they dented my door, I had to get that repaired and seek reimbursement. I had an issue with the windshield, which they ended up replacing for me as a courtesy. I since had issues with the Louvers on the front not opening, resulting in check engine lights and sending me to service 3 separate times, this went on for close to two months. I have had intermittent Bluetooth issues, I was told it was my phone, so I had it replaced and did all the resets they asked. I keep losing my connection, losing phones calls and it's impossible to stream music to the car. I picked the car up after another visit, It is still not working correctly. As a pay it foreword, Beware of the BMW X3 or any of these newer model BMWS, it seems they have a lot of technology and electrical issues. BMW NA doesn't care and keeps giving me the run around as well. I highly encourage staying away from a new model BMW, invest in a CPO and revCARFAX. I've lost days on dealing with this car, I am currently scheduling a consultation for a lemon law lawsuit. This has been one of the worst ownership experiences I have ever had. read more

I went to the dealer and wasn't approached by any salesperson for more than 30 minutes so I was looking at the cars by myself. After I found one I liked I went inside to ask for the keys and assistance. I was standing inside the showroom and still was not approached so I started looking at the showroom cars while I waited. I opened one and sat inside looking at the interior and finally a salesperson came but only to tell me to get out! He was aggressively telling me to get out of the car so he could lock it because the car was being sold (which I didn't know because there was no "sold" sign). I exited and said no problem that's understandable and asked how much the car was priced. The salesperson (bald with orange beard) arrogantly was telling me the customer had paid 5,000 over sticker price which was good for his commission. I asked if there was someone to help me look at the car in the lot I initially liked and he laughed and said I can get you the key and then you're on your own because we needed an appointment (although there were multiple people sitting at the desks seemingly doing nothing). He did not offer to set me up with an appointment, he did not offer to help me once he was done, he didn't offer to find someone to help me; he just kept arrogantly saying no one would help us so he essentially kicked us out. This was my first experience at this dealer and I WILL NOT BE BACK. If you go to this dealer, I at least recommend to not work with this sales person because he blatantly was bragging about the fat commission he was making instead of actually helping paying customers... I wish I could give less than one star because I felt so disrespected... read more

What started off as an extremely poor car buying experience by a Sales person I rather not name, changed to an extremely favorable outcome when another Sales person stepped in to "clean up the mess". Buying a car is always stressful, especially when you're buying CPO. Khalil went above & beyond to rectify my poor experience and restored my faith is BMW and its dealerships. He kept every commitment he made to me even though he hadn't initiated the sale and he was there till the end to ensure that I wasn't just satisfied but a happy customer. Wouldn't recommend. I had inquired on a 2017 BMW X3 and was contacted by Khalil. I couldn't run out of there fast enough. First off, I wasn't allowed to test drive the car. He told me "You should already know if you like it"... just by sitting in the parking lot??? Red flag!!! He definitely didn't take me seriously. Im 26 but I could have more than afforded the car I was looking at. Khalil was talking over me and trying to talk down to me when in reality he was wrong... about everything. He was trying to explain to me about interest rates and blah blah blah how what I wanted was not going to happen blah blah blah. It was infuriating being talked over and talked down to. The entire dealership has a very arrogant vibe to it. Its for the best, I went to a Mercedes Benz dealer and was treated with respect. I bought my GLE from a Mercedes dealer (got better terms than what I wanted to start with) and am glad I didn't have to be talked down to for that to happen. read more

When I first started speaking with Eugene, I did not expect to have the best car buying experience of my life. I was in the market for a BMW i3 BEV and after having a terrible experience at Mountain View BMW (never go there), was ready to try something different. After discussing over the phone some options that worked for me, he quickly and promptly obtained the exact vehicle I was looking for. He offered to come pick me up at my home, which was an unexpected surprise. On the day of the purchase, he greets me with a brand-new BMW i8 to drive me to the dealership. Upon arrival, he quickly goes over the figures we had spoken about over the phone, and proceeds to introduce me to Yuri, a product specialist. Yuri spares no detail and gives me a comprehensive run-down of the vehicle; we then go for a test drive. He too is an i3 owner--it was great to get an objective opinion of the vehicle from someone who had owned it for several months. When we returned, he introduced me to Duncan that effortlessly handled the finances of my lease. This was my first time leasing a vehicle so I was a bit worried I would miss something; Duncan made sure to explain everything concisely without wasting time, or up-selling me anything. I arrived at the dealership at 11am, and was driving home in my new car at 12:30pm! Unbelievably positive experience. I truly hope to do business with them again. read more

I called Peter Pan BMW to inquire about a part I needed urgently and upon confirmation that the part was in stock I drove across the bridge only to find out their parts department is 8 miles up north in Burlingame. [The Saga of Dan's Convertible...or my continuing journey to find a convertible, with a stick shift, that I could fit in. All dealerships are rated, regardless of time spent there. Everyone starts with average (3). This review is for the Sales Dept. only, of course] *Stop #4* By this point in my journey, I had discovered that 1) There was at least one new car (BMW 2-series) that met my criteria and 2) Nobody was making new convertibles that carried four people anymore. It was either a 2-seater or a much older 4-seater. Being somewhat fanatic about reliability, I was also still drawn to Japanese cars, so companies like Honda, Toyota, Lexus and Infiniti were high on the list. But none of these companies is currently selling any convertibles; and they have not done so for a few years. So I had decided to explore used vehicles via Autotrader.com. Lo and behold, via my search I saw there was a low-mileage Infiniti Q60 for sale close by; at Peter Pan BMW, of all places. It was in a color I liked and it had a manual transmission. I had never been inside one of these cars, but if it truly fit all my criteria, I was very interested. I wrote to confirm the availability and the features of the car and received a prompt email response from a Peter Pan salesman confirming it was available and as advertised, with a manual transmission. I made an appointment to stop by and see it the next day. Salesman1 would be out, but he assured me his colleague (Salesman2) would be there to help me out. I arrived at the appointed time on a scorching afternoon and told the front desk guy I had an appointment with Salesman2. He made a quick call and told me he'd be right out. So I waited and walked the showroom floor, looking at cars, reading about features; I even listened in on another salesman's pitch to a young couple about the M240i, a car I was still interested in. No sign of the salesman yet, so I walked through the waiting room and got some water, looked at BMW swag (t-shirts, hats, etc) and made my way out to the floor again. At this point the counter dude said "are you still waiting?!" I said I was. He made a face and then made another quick call. Five minutes later, Salesman2 sauntered out to the showroom. == One Star loss == for making me wait 15 minutes; it's called an APPOINTMENT To his credit, however, Salesman2 knew the background and was able to take me directly to the car. But on the way, he said "Oh, the listing was incorrect. The car has an automatic transmission, not manual. Is that a problem?" It was. I repeated that I was only interested in a convertible with a manual transmission. He then made a point of saying that they had realized the mistake that morning and fixed the internet listing. (And how does that help me, exactly? Do you want a pat on the head?). == Another Star Loss == for wasting my time with incorrect information; even after I had written to re-verify the features But I was already there, and the rest of my afternoon was clear; so I decided to check the car to see if I fit. I did (yay!). I also was able to determine the Q60 model had almost ZERO trunk space. It was therefore off the short list; and so the afternoon wasn't a complete loss after all. In an effort to make more lemonade out of lemons, I decided to learn more about the BMW M240i. I was also curious to see if they had a manual transmission version I could test drive while I was there. But Salesman2 was done with me. He said the car I was seeking was a special order, and this fact seemed to deflate his interest completely. He provided some quick answers to a few of my questions, then excused himself, saying "Call if you have any questions" I'm tempted to take one more star off for his sudden exit, but looks like I'm fresh out. Oh well. I think the BMW M240i is a somewhat boxy-looking car anyways; not nearly sexy enough to shell out more than $50k. (And a later search showed there wasn't a single one with a stick shift in the entire bay area for me to try). It was time to look further afield. P.S. Per the owner comment: I find it funny that the sales manager delegates this immediately; and that person asks me to send a message to a generic biz email address that is probably used by 50 people. Now THAT's personal commitment...Bwa! (The biz will never read this note; they have "checked the box" of responding to the review). I was very happy with the encore program which allowed me to learn about some of the cool features that I hadn't experienced when driving my older Corolla.
