My husband and I have been here a handful of times since it opened, and overall, we definitely enjoy it. Sometimes they are on the shorthanded side, which can get frustrating for a hungry customer, but the food is worth it. The atmosphere is great, too. Absolutely awful. Was really excited to try this new place in town, but was extremely let down. The waitress completely ignored my table, but was very attentive to the other tables she was waiting around us. I was finally able to flag down the girl she was training and ask for some water and napkins. The only times we spoke to the waitress was when she took our order and when she brought us the bill. Waste of time and money. The food we make at home is better. We were a party of 4 and paid $140.00 for our evening dinner. Drinks were $3.00 with no free refills. Meals were over priced for the quality of what we were served. Fish and chips, fish tasted over cooked. Ribeye was very thin and had no flavor, but was cooked as ordered medium rare. The place had potential but missed the mark. Not sure if it will improve over time. Waitress left us for nearly an hour. After my husband saw another table that arrived after us get their food my husband had to flag down another server to bring our lukewarm food. It also took eternally long to get drinks and the waitress brought them individually instead of at the same time. Bathroom had no seat covers and was lacking toilet paper in most stalls. I'm happy the restaurant was able to open and the food is delicious... I wish I would see more employees wearing their masks, wearing them properly and seating us 6 feet apart. This restaurant is an open and fun environment. Definitely a breath of fresh air and sense of normalcy during COVID. Our server was AMAZING (shout out to APRIL!) All of the staff are friendly and you can tell work well together. Had the worst experience tonite. Ordered a jalapeño burger, it came out after sitting in the pass so long bun was too hard to cut. So had them remake the burger brought out new burger and it was raw in the middle. So I ask to speak to manager, He came over and we talked so he brought me a fresh burger so I cut into it and it was still cold in the middle, he stood there and argued with me that it was cooked medium I told him put your finger on it it is ice cold in the middle he said no it's cooked medium I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon the rest of our table was good And we still had a $250 check for 9 people read more

My first time going. The wait was not long to get seated. We sat down and the waitress took our order that was all good. Then our food arrived. It was a simple Pete's pizza, however napkins and silverware and plates were not part of the menu. We had to ask for them and the girl looked quite offended that I actually asked. She was not the same waitress that took my order. The original waitress cruised by once after that and that was it. Now, onto the pizza itself. We had the standard Pete's pizza and the bell peppers in there were in chunks and not chopped and lots of the white veins were still on there. All the meat looks like lunchmeat that they just chopped up. I'm pretty sure there are parts of the pizza that was it cooked because it sure was doughy. Probably won't be back again. read more

Had a great time! Stopped by to have dinner with my sister on my way home from Oregon. We have enjoyed Pete's in Manteca for many years now. Happy to say this place did not disappoint. The server, Dakota, was terrific, as were the other servers who took care of us when passing our table. Because of extreme heat, they let us bring our 2 little dogs in, as we could not go outside. THANK YOU FOR THAT!!! We had calamari and artichoke hearts appetizers, a salad, and a couple of different sandwiches at our table. It was all delicious. Item I order the spicy fettuccine had zero cream, in the description on the menu it states a spicy cream sauce, what I received was spicy oil. It was not what was described on the menu, I ask the waitress, who argued with me, then the owner came out and argued with me. Very rude! I won't ever go back. Been to Pete's four times. The first three times I would have rated 5 stars. The last time was a one star. Took 1/2 hr to get drinks (finally asked for them) and one hour for dinner. I had high hopes for this place with expectations that it was worth the more than a year wait for the "Opening Soon" sign to come to fruition. The first time I went I ordered the lasagna and was underwhelmed. The service was good. The second time the ribs were really good but the service was not and the place was only half full. This last time I ordered the fish and chips. The two meager fish patties looked and tasted like maybe restaurant grade breaded frozen fish patties? Again, underwhelmed. My mom said her burger wasn't great either. The service was good. They forgot her second margarita and gave it to her on the house. The place is popular because it's new. There are other places in town with lots of beer taps which serve better food. Time will tell if it remains popular, especially with all the attention to downtown's revitalization and the great food and breweries present down there. Logan's & Outback have lost favor with many due to their high prices and poor quality food. I hope Pete's turns it around and doesn't become another one of them. read more

I was really excited to see a new restaurant open up in Redding but was only semi impressed. The food overall was as expected for a Brewhouse; pizza, burgers, salad, sandwiches etc. We ordered a house salad, grilled chicken & avocado club, and the garlic knots. Our food was good the knots were DELISH and I'd be willing to branch out more when it comes to the food next time we eat here. The reason I took two stars away was 1) they were out of the three beers my husband wanted and 2) the service needs soooo much improvement. You could tell communication, training, and organization were all lacking among the staff. Granted, I know it must be tricky opening a business during covid I would still love to see improvement in the service and maybe some serious team work/communication training. Overall I would come back again but I'm going to give it a few months in hopes of improvement. read more

Pete's was just great. Our service Stephanie took great care of us. The atmosphere is good. There was music but it wasn't so loud that we couldn't carry on a good conversation at the table. The menu is extensive. And everything was fantastic. The lasagna comes with two sauces a white and red sauce. Both of them absolutely wonderful. Quality and price on everything was very very good. We just ate lunch here and won't be back. The Santa Fe salad was not very good. The chicken had a weird texture to it. After a few bites I couldn't eat any more of it. My wife and I stopped in for lunch, first time eating at Pete's Brewhouse. She ordered the Ahi Tuna with an oriental salad. I had the Deluxe Chicken sandwich with fries. We were both disappointed with our meals. The seared ahi tuna was flavorless and had an odd texture. It appeared as if had been frozen and quickly unthawed. The salad was also flavorless and was more like cole slaw. My sandwich was okay, just okay. The French roll was lightly toasted but no a very good bread. I ate half the sandwich and had no interest in finishing the other half. The service was as mediocre as the meal. Our waitress seemed bothered when I asked her if their tea was brewed. she didn't give us much attention and only came back to drop off the check. I can't recommend Pete's. Our food was unappealing and unappetizing. We don't plan on returning. read more

Had dinner there tonight hoping for better results than the first time I went. Sadly I think my first visit was better than tonight but neither one was good. Service was terrible both times. Waiting and having a flag down the waitress for refills. I ordered a beer when I sat down and after a 10 minute wait she finally came back and said they were all out that that kind of beer. This same thing happened on the first visit. Between my wife and I and our three kids we have tried 10 different items on the menu. The food is hot and looks good but is flavorless. This will just be a restaurant that we drive-by as we go to eat somewhere else from now on. Will not return. read more

The waiter informed us that a virgin drink at the bar would have the same cost as Alcoholic mixed drink! They reversed this decision after our vocal pushback! Watch out for price gouging! Acoustics are horrible, cannot talk or hear in a conversation at your table. I could not hear our waiter! I got chicken philly sandwich when I ordered philly steak, evidently he could not hear me either.
