I've bought 2 puppies from here. Yesterday when I was interested in possibly buying a 3rd they were rude. This has happen to me before. I always think it's because they're having a bad day. They act like they have high quality dogs but they don't both of the puppies I've bought here got really sick and my Pomeranian stays sick. The puppy for lifetime warranty won't even be enough to get me a puppy if something were to happen to my girl. At this point they're just scamming people with the warranty and overpricing their dogs My dog came home scared of the world like this place abused her and plenty of puppies from here are so sacred I wonder why. I recommend people going across the street to buy a decent pure bred puppy. The way they care for their animals and treat customers is bad. My puppy is precious but their so-called puppy warranty doesn't cover anything. My puppy had diarrhea when he left the store. He had to have subcutaneous fluids and nutrical so he would eat. They refused to reimburse me for that. They also haven't reimbursed me for the antibiotics and probiotics he had to have because he had parasites when he left the store. Their puppy guarantee is BS too because they don't reimburse you for the medical expenses if the puppy has a congenital defect. They will give you a store credit for another puppy. That isn't a guarantee! They don't tell you any of that until AFTER you made the purchase. They go over pages and pages of crap with you. I love my puppy and I'm insuring him through another insurance company that is more ethical and honors their coverage. Kanguro insurance is a rip-off!!!! read more

Here's my very honest review for this location in particular.. Upon walking in, the first thing I noticed were several dogs that appeared to be in a "deep sleep" but were very clearly lethargic. When I asked a sales lady what was going on with them, her response was "oh they're just tired they've been out a lot today"... Do with that information what you will. Next, they didn't have many dogs to choose from (less than 20, around 5-10 that seemed in OK health) but me and my husband did look at a couple and every single one of them was either too hyper or very nippy. And I personally wasn't settling for anything less than a very well tempered dog, especially with a budget of $4k. One I took interest in was a long haired apple head chihuahua that turned out to be $6900. I'm sorry, but providing the breeders information and location the dog came from simply cannot justify that price. Please make it make sense. Everything about this place just feels so off because the prices are undeniably unrealistic and many (as in most) of the dogs were clearly sick in some way. Some people have had good experiences with this place and I love that for them, but just know you will not be spending less than $6k and your options will be very limited. Don't come in here looking for a pom or a yorkie because you won't find it, and if you do you will easily be spending $10k for it. Trust me when I say, save your time, money, and gas and look into reputable breeders and purchase directly through them. I would not recommend this place. read more

I really enjoyed going here and meeting the store bird, Redd, who is a 3 year old scarlet macaw. The store was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Don't go there for any serious pet supplies. There's only betta fish, none of the fish meds I was in need of and very few cat toys. I think the focus of the store is more about selling animals (puppies, a kitten, cockatiels, conures, hamsters, bettas, ferrets, a few lizards and guinea pigs. You basically walk-in and ask one of the workers to bring the puppy of choice that you want to play with. There's no time limit or payment required to play with the cute puppies, so if you're ever looking for something to do and kill time come in and play with some cute puppies, that you probably can't afford - lol, that's what we did. The cutest puppy that I loved was $3200; cute golden doodle... LOVE! I guess the only downfall about this place is the smell when you walk in. We bought our precious puppy from here. We are usually pretty hesitant to buy from puppy stores, but our puppy was healthy with no issues. But theor puppies come from licensed breeders, the puppies are microchiped, and you can tell the animals are loved and cared for. The prices at a little high, but it include a voucher to neuter your pet, first initial vet check up, and lots of goodies to bring puppy home. We swing by every month to buy puppy food and little things for the puppy, and the staff here remember us and always always about our puppy. They promised things and didn't follow through such as; reimbursement for initial vaccinations, they do not take our calls, they lied and said they weren't there when I know for a fact they were. She was rude to my family and other customers inside the shop. Bought a mini golden doodle from here. She has Giardia and is currently on her SECOND round of treatment. I wish I read the reviews before and went to an actual breeder. I looked up the breeder and couldn't really find anything on him other than articles of petland in another state and possible puppy mill association. I've been taking her to the vet they have the warranty through and seems like they have a big issue with selling dogs with giardia because right away they stated we should do a fecal sample "especially if we purchased from petland" and sure enough it came back positive. I'm just glad I saved this baby from there but wouldn't recommend buying from them. Research a good breeder that cares for the pups because trust me it'll be so much better and cheaper!!! read more

I would not recommend buying a pet from petland Henderson. I bought a puppy on 1/6/21. From day one of bringing him home he has had watery poop and lethargic. He drank so much water and pooped 8-12 times a day. After 3 vet visits finally diagnosed with severe Giardia and Coccidia. The vet said it's one of the worst they ever seen. My family and I are doing what we can to get him better but he is now on 4 medications. When I contacted petland they didn't have any response except for call their insurance company. On top of the fact that the puppy was seriously overpriced I probably saved his little life by taking him out of there. Please read these reviews and don't purchase from them. Side-note they try to get you to take your puppy to a vet they have a contract with. I think its a scam as I took my pup there and they said he was fine even though I told them his symptoms and they allegedly ran test 2 days after I got him, so glad I took him to another vet for a 2nd opinion. read more

Immediately upon entering we were greeted right away. Came here looking for a certain dog food which they did not carry cause they didn't have many options to choose from. One of the young ladies there helped us decide on a brand that was grain free and had small pieces for our senior dog. After grabbing the dog food I had to resist the urge to pet one of the few dogs in store for sale that were just too adorable. There were also a couple of birds and ferrets. This was such a pleasant experience. Thanks. I can't explain how hard it was to put my 16 year-old Lhasa Apso down on Monday. It pained me uncontrollably even though I knew it was for the better and he had cushings disease. I was in tears when I entered the pet store to be greeted by the employees with hugs and love from my loss was more than I could ask for. I feel in love with the blue-eyed American bulldog that was four months old. He is an angel. He completes me after such a heartbreaking loss. Stopped here last night just to visit these babies because I'd been feeling kind of down. Well, in a way, it worked. Because now I am so fired up. I was just getting my cuteness fix looking at the the poor little imprisoned puppies because I happened to be passing by. Well an employee there was returning a Cocker Spaniel baby to its cel. I won't mention her name but it rhymes with Anna and starts with an H. Anyway she so forcefully tosses (throws? Shoves? Catapults?) this poor thing into the kennel just beneath a puppy I was admiring that the little darling bangs it's snout/face on the front glass. Hard...and quite loudly. Now i get that not all among us are blessed with unfailing grace and we all are capable of an "oh shit" moment here and there. But Anna with an H doesn't even acknowledge her behavior and doesn't even look at the pup. No remorse or guilt whatsoever. This is despicable behavior from this bully and I had to think long and hard before deciding what I was going to do. My first and most pervasive idea was to wait it out until she was done working at which time she would become the cocker spaniel and I would become Anna with an H only much more sinister and immeasurably more aggressive. I'd like her to see what it's like having her face bounce off some glass. I eventually realize that authorities tend to frown on such vigilante justice and called the corporate office instead. Bottom line? Please don't buy your animals from these terrible puppy mills and if you run into Anna with an H poke her in the eye.
