I finally decided to review this PetSmart because of how horrible their customer service is EVERY TIME I've been here. They're the least helpful people and very rude. My boyfriend and I just called to ask a question about a certain type of fish and we got transferred three times and each person we spoke to was extremely rude. They didn't care to help us out or give us the time of day. Also their grooming salon here sucks. Take your dog somewhere else, TRUST ME. Customer service is everything to me and every employee I encounter here is so rude. Will not be coming back here, ever. read more

I took my Shih Tzu princess there to get groomed on Dec 23 2019 i got a call saying that they couldn't finish the grooming because my dog was nervous and wouldn't let them finish and i asked them nicely to finish the grooming but they didn't they left knotts all over her body that day she was very quiet and nervous when we brought her home than several days later i went to talk to the manager to let him know what happen to my dog he totally ignored me didn't care about the situation he just said sorry but i don't recommend that place for nothing bad service rude manager and employees read more

I totally understand times are difficult right now and running a store can be hard, but this was just ridiculous. I checked in for curbside and waited about 15 minutes. Figured that maybe they didn't get notified so we decided to call, someone answered and said it would be just a few minutes since they were busy, which is fine, but then we waited about another 15 minutes and nothing happened. We decided to go in and just pick up our order. This is unfortunately not the first time something like this has happened at this particular location, and the first few times I just gave them the benefit of the doubt, but I really hope that they do something to fix this. read more

There is another groomer who is awesome and I wish I could remember her name, but I love being my English bulldog to her because Amanda is genuinely kind and you can tell she likes what she does. Had an appt for grooming and the groomer, Sumer was extremely unprofessional. There was an issue with the profile and she gave me such an attitude instead of trying to help fix the problem. I was shocked by how she spoke to me. It escalated quickly and could have all been avoided if she had better customer service skills. Instead of offering to help fix the problem she immediately said I could go to another salon. I of course did not leave my dog because I was worried she'd take it out on my dog. This goes to the grooming department. It was my first time taking my dog here and it was really disappointing. It was not clean, the people were not friendly, and they don't call you like they say they will when your dog is done. It took two and half hours for my small puppy. When I got there they knew exactly who I was picking up and they said he'd been ready for a while. When I said I never received a call the girl just shrugged. The "haircut" my dog received looked like a hot mess. His hair is still really long and doesn't look like he even got a haircut. Will not be coming here again. read more

Petsmart just lost us as customer tonight. We scheduled our dog for grooming services this evening. She has had grooming services done here before, but tonight they refused to take her due to a bare patch on her paw. They said we needed to confirm with our Vet that it's not contagious. So of course, we immediately called our vet, which is at Banfield in Glendora. They told us what her condition was called and that it is not contagious at all. So we told Petsmart the situation and that our vet cleared it and if there were any issues for Petsmart to call them and confirm. By now it's 30 minutes past her appointment time. A manager walked over and said sorry, we still can't take her based on their store policy, but we can take her to ANY OTHER Petsmart, just not this one. I understand it's Friday night and I am sure they all want to go home, but that's definitely not how things should have been handled. We are definitely not satisfied with how this situation escalated. We will NEVER return to this store again. We will drive the extra miles to any other PetSmart. So disappointed. read more

Sadly our dogs would come home stressed, with bowel issues. I don't know what they were doing to the dogs or if they were being rough. Ok. I'm not usually one to complain but this salon just made me very upset. I have 2 bernese mountain dogs and a huskey. I got burnt out on washing them so I had my boyfriend take the last one in to get groomed. I am a former petsmart groomer and know how a dog should leave the salon. On that note the bather Alex didn't do a very good job. On the plus side she smelled wonderful. On the other she was still wet 3 hours after she was picked up. I know she is good for grooming and when she isn't you can just dry her in the kennel. She wasn't even brushed all the way. My boyfriend also told me that they didn't offer him any other services. After paying almost $60 I still had to do part of the job. read more

I brought my large dog here and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was looking for a no-pull leash and I wasn't sure if it would work, but they let us "give it a test run" before we purchased it. I was really appreciative to the staff for helping us find the right choice. Also, they told me that I can talk to one of their on site obedience trainers for any tips and he could do a dog behavior evaluation for free. We walked around the store for over an hour just practicing with the new leash and everyone was so helpful. read more

I'm very happy with my visit last night. A week before I purchased flea medication for my cats, however it didn't work. I used 2 of the 3 vials from the box on my 2 cats. I took it back to the store and spoke to the manager ( I think his name was Robert) and he totally took care of me and let me return it. Normally I wouldn't even bother, but it was 40$, and didn't work. I ended up buying a different brand. I appreciated his willingness to help. read more

Came here and left my little nervous pet for a nail trimming and bath. They treat him well and I could see the genuine care they have for our pets. I recommend them to anyone wanting to get some pet maintenece done, plus they gave my dog a report card something I thought was great. He looked so cute coming over in petsmart scarf smelling soooo good. The staff is also very knowledgeable in trainging of pets and other methods, great customer service. Have been bringing my 2 dogs here for a few years now and have never had any issues till now. I took my lil Long Haired Chihuahua in for her bath and cut our usual groomer was not available so we got LINDSEY. She butchered my poor dogs hair soo bad when she brought her out I said oh no Im not happy and she got snippy and said well i just trimmed her up. When i spoke to the manager who was very nice and understanding, even the manager said she wouldnt be happy with it. She then took my dog to her usual groomer who tried her hardest to try and make my poor dog not look as bad. Do NOT let LINDSEY touch your pet. If my usual groomer is not available then my dog will not be there. Only gave the 2 stars because the manager was super nice bout the situation. read more

We bought a bunch of tropical fish for our big tank. They were pretty helpful but when we got them home the fish got white spots and died within a few days later. We cleaned the tank and came back to get a return on the fish or pick out some different ones. I explained to this woman Jacqueline what happened and then she said, "Well, did you bring a water sample." I told her no because no one mentioned it to me that I had to. She said, well someone should have told you that. She then asked, "do you know what fish you got." I replied, no, I just gave you the receipt. I don't know the names of the fish. She then said, "Did you get all these fish at once?" I said, Yes, I just handed you the receipt. She replied saying that the associate that sold us the fish should have mentioned that getting too much fish would cause to much ammonia in the tank. Well, I am kinda concerned that this MANAGER is talking bad about her own store saying that the associates are suppose to be doing things but are not. Especially since I am fairly new at taking care of fish. She then mad my fiancé and me show her all the fish that we bought. I showed her the ones that we wanted replaced and then she didn't listen to me and gave me the wrong fish. Once I told her that those were the wrong fish, she said that those were the ones that I showed her. I then went back and showed her again the fish I wanted. She replied, I already gave you the black ones ma'am. I then replied curtly, " Can you let me talk and can you listen to what I am saying?" I already know you gave me the black ones but I also got 2 of the black and orange ones. After this point, I was already done talking to this woman. She continued to annoy me by asking me stupid questions like, oh do you know which guppy this one is on the receipt ? No, I DONT!!! The rest of the employees were nice but I can't understand how this woman became a manager treating customers like this and talking bad about her own store. Do they know about this??? read more

This review is for the grooming salon. I usually take my maltipoo every 3-4 weeks because her hair grows pretty fast. The very first time I took her I didn't like the end results (don't remember who it was), but I decided to give this place another try and booked her with Brittany. I was very pleased when I got her back and have been taking her back to Brittany every single time. She is such a friendly person and always leaves my dog looking beautiful. This location is full of rude employees. The grooming department is the worst. Everyone seems to have a "don't bother me" attitude. For the record, I am a very easy going and non confrontational kind of person, so I'm not sure why they treat people this way. Although, the location is very convenient for me, and my dogs haircuts always turn out really well, I've taken my business else where.
