The store doesn't carry the most unique products but they have plenty of standard goods to serve basic needs for all kinds of animals, which I appreciate. They also have reliable hours, open at night, later than most independent pet shops. The store was clean, organized, and well stocked during my recent visit. I had no problem picking up a couple of items for my bunnies, with service at the front register quick and easy. In addition, parking was plentiful right out front on a Monday evening. In terms of small animal products, I don't really trust a lot of the ingredients in the treats that they sell at big chain stores like this (ie. fruit flavored drops). But I got the vitakraft veggie pies, which I can at least sift through to remove anything I don't feel comfortable with giving my bunnies. They're due for a spoiling, and the chew toy selection in the store sucked, so this would have to do.

Some friends of ours were buying some food for their pet, so my wife and I decided to shop with them. It's a pretty big store and the customer service was friendly and helpful. The store has pet toys, crates/cages, aquariums, bedding, pet food, etc. Also, they have pet grooming and obedience training for dogs. I didn't get a chance to walk through the whole store, but it was a good-sized store.

I usually don't leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share this experience. I recently took my Golden Retriever in for grooming, and unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the results. The cut on both of his front legs was uneven and poorly done--it looked rushed and unprofessional. On top of that, the hair around his ears wasn't trimmed at all, which was something I expected as part of a full grooming service. Golden Retrievers need careful attention to maintain their coat, and sadly, this grooming did not reflect that level of care.

Today the groomers sent Winkie home with a bandanna and a matching toy.

As always the grooming department was amazing. My dog Winkie always comes home happy!!

This Petsmart has been a life savior for Lulu and me! Lately, it has been so hard to find Nature's Recipe Grain Free dog food. At this one, the shelves are always stocked with the hard and wet food, and I must add in all flavors. Also, the new blends are here too. Thank you, Petsmart Milipitas!

I called and was told next available appointment is next week....

False advertising. I just called to ask about this and I was told you need an appointment. "When would it work for you next week" If it says no appointment necessary and it's a 30 min service. This makes absolutely no sense and it's like a scam to bring customers in. I'll skip and pay $18 at Pet Express!

I've taken my pup here 3 times to get groomed. I've had pretty good experiences 2/3 times. The first time I took my puppy when she was about 4 months old for her first puppy groom. Andrew was super friendly and patient when I first dropped her off. Aylin was the groomer assigned and she did a great job at trimming near her eyes and giving her a great puppy groom. She looked great! The second time I went was not bad but I did not like her "haircut". It was not with Andrew or Aylin and I don't want to name names. The haircut didn't seem like much was done. She was clean for sure but haircut was barely a haircut. It was a puppy bath and trim (I think?) so I understand they were trying to get her more used to getting groomed but I would've preferred when Aylin groomed her the first time. Came in for a third time groom with Andrew and he was very sweet. I had a 9am appointment but was late. Andrew called me while I was driving and he was super understanding on the phone and just briefly explained that I would potentially have to keep her there longer since I brought her in late. He offered to reschedule if needed too. I was already on the way and my dog needed to be groomed so I was ok with all that. Once I arrived, he checked me in and explained to me about the process of everything. He spoke to me about what kind of length I was thinking of and felt her to see if there was any matting. He was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of advice on what I can be doing at home to prevent matting and such. He let me know that he's going to go at my dog's pace because he wants to make sure she's comfortable. When I came to pick her up, she looked so clean and cute. Andrew said she did a great job, that she was very nervous but never reacted negatively to getting her haircut and such. My family all complimented Andrew's grooming when I brought my pup home. We will for sure be booking with Andrew or Aylin again!

Pet Smart has been good to us over the years with several locations. We've had great experiences from grooming, training treats, leashes, supplies, hotel, and daycare. The staff has been friendly and much appreciated by our pets. You can always count on them having crates, beds etc things you need last minute to replace sometimes. And boarding last minute has been a life saver. They were friendly to him and he was super happy for the few days he stayed. When you have happy pets it means everything to you.

He came back with a nice blowout. His hair has never felt softer.

If my dog was aggressive and that's the reason why the groom wasn't complete, WHY ASK HIM TO COME BACK???? WHY IS IT THAT WHEN I PICKED HIM UP YOU SAID HE DID GREAT! This is all cover up to point blame! You also issued me not even HALF of what I paid. I paid $183, you issued me $72 because YOU DONT ISSUE TIPS. How is this okay for you to keep the tip?! Ridiculous. Seriously DONT COME HERE. They are untruthful. They have no idea how to treat clients and they do not know how to communicate! They are not admitting they are at fault saying it's my dogs fault! ------------ My dog was groomed by Fiona. I gave her a heads up that my dog does better away from me, once he is handed over he is fine. My dog has been getting groomed since he was a puppy, this is nothing new to him! Upon arrival, Fiona did not seem welcoming at all. She did immediately approached my dog in a fast motion which if anyone knows dog behaviors this is a big NO NO. She said "let me take him" I handed over the leash and she rushed him to the back. I gave her the benefit of the doubt that this is a new dog and she just needs to see how he does. After a few minutes of him being in the bag, I assume she tested to see how he does being lifted, carried and placed and taken out of the kennel. All makes sense! She comes out and says "okay he did fine!" She points at the price and says $145, however the link she sent me via text and on her website says $135 very inconsistent numbers. She asked how I want the hair cut to be, I said please do not make him bald or shaved down. He can stay short, keep his eyebrows but trim it and trim the length of his ears and his muzzle area. I get a call at 12pm that he's ready. She comes out saying to get my dog from the kennel because he started to grow when being approached in the kennel. I grab him and he is so happy! Wagging his tail! She even showed me where she cut around his face and her hands were very close to his face. He smelt very good and looked good. She told me his ears were very dirty and she cleaned them, cut the nails and did everything and that he was great for the groom. I paid $183 in total for the groom but if I receive exceptional outstanding service I don't blink an eye and am happy to pay. When we got home, I looked him over and he still had Matt's on his ears. The AD said brush out for 15 minutes--clearly my dogs ears were not brushed. I looked in his ears and his ears still had debris in them! I understand not being able to get deep in the ear canal but the easy outer ear area had gunk. The full groom AD stated a sanitary trim but his sanitary area was not trimmed at all! It was the same length from when he came in! I checked his paws and none of his paws were cut or trimmed! Not even the bottom of the paw pads! At this point I am furious because I paid $183. I check his nails and NONE of his nails were cut at all!!! I reach out to Fiona, who groomed my dog and she asked me three times for me to come back for her to get it fixed. She said this was all very surprising to her, I told her I took photos of all the errors. She said she cut my dogs nails but if she cut it too short it'll bleed however they were not cut at all! They are still pointy and long from when he arrived! At this point we are going back and forth and then she throws the "my dog started to try to bite her" card however my dog being aggressive or trying to bite was NOT mentioned AT ALL! Not at pick up, not through our exchange in messages, the only time she decided to say it is when I asked for a refund as I do not want to go back to her grooming facility! I assume she is saying that to make an excuse as to why nothing was done. If this was the case why wasn't it mentioned AT ALL? I am extremely frustrated and I definitely do not recommend this grooming facility. It is half ass work for paying an arm and a leg. I expect exceptional service the first time, not after I complain about the lack of detail of the groom that you then decide to ask me to come back and do it over for me. If my dog was trying to bite, why did she offer to trim my dogs nails if I come back and that she'll fix everything, I truly believe that this was just a cover up, because she started to mention it AFTER I declined her offer for her to fix it! I asked for a full refund but the owner is only offering me half! why does it take someone to complain for people to start doing a good job or to start doing what their job actually entails? Why can't it just be done as expected the very first time!

The problem is this last time he came home acting completely different. He was visibly uncomfortable, like within a few steps he'd throw his bottom down and try to lick, scratch, or scoot. He's normally an active dog who loves to chase balls and will do anything for a treat, and he didn't even want to do either. I looked at his sanitary areas and noticed it was pretty pink and irritated looking. I called Furever Grooming and sent them a photo and they were nice about it, said it looked like a hot spot or skin irritation or that it could be allergies or something that just wasn't visible before the grooming session. I get that from a photo, that's a reasonable guess, but he was not doing any of this before his appointment. Zero scooting, zero licking, nothing. He started right when I picked him up from his grooming session. I'm not trying to say they did something wrong on purpose, but when your dog goes from totally fine to that uncomfortable that fast, right after being groomed, it's hard to not connect the dots. Their aftercare advice was appreciated, but this whole thing has honestly made me nervous to bring him back here, so I think I'm going to look for a different groomer :(

We've been to one other groomer, and while the cut itself wasn't bad, it was way overgrown within two weeks and already needed to be cut again. We wanted a place that could provide a different experience, and finding Doggy Doodle was a blessing. It's been almost a decade, and we've had nothing but positive experiences here. Charlene, the owner, is incredible; very friendly, extremely accommodating and flexible, and so sweet with our old man. She's stayed at the salon late when we could only pick him up after-hours, due to our work schedules. Multiple times she was able to fit us into an already packed day. He's not the easiest to groom since he tends to wiggle around, yet she always does a a great job and never mentions it negatively. When he was a puppy, there were services that she wasn't able to do safely because of how he was acting, and it was always communicated to us effectively and directly. Even though some might find her abrasive, she's just a direct person. But she's always been kind. Atlas is co-parented (lol I know), we separated 4-ish years ago and both moved out of the area. If you do decide to take your fur baby here, just make sure you check them while you're in her salon.
