I've been going here for a few years. I have noticed more recently that the donut size is inconsistent. Some of their chocolate bars have been like 50 percent smaller than others. I recall pointing out to the person assisting me to give me chocolate bars. The ones I pointed at through the window were of a good size but he grabbed the ones closest to him which i didn't have a problem with. I had assumed they were about the same size. I got home and was shocked to see how tiny it was. I don't normally leave reviews but they deserve a bad review for doing that. read more

Cool donut joint in Natomas! It's in a great location next to quickly, changs, teriyaki maki, and chaat cafe. Natomas donuts is at the very end of the complex! I think it's great Natomas has a donut joint because honestly, every neighborhood needs a donut joint! Natomas donuts has a wide variety of donuts such as glazed, glazed twists, fruit filled donuts, donut holes, donuts with sprinkles, maple, chocolate, and custard. Feel free to buy one or a dozen!! Pricing seems decent. We bought a dozen which came out to be around $9.00 and I bought a coffee too! They have a large variety of coffee which is self served! The choices of coffee are decaf, vanilla, Hawaiian, dark roast, and others (which I cannot remember). Staff seems very friendly! There was only one staff working when we went but she was nice! Conveniently located at the edge of the Safeway Center off Del Paso blvd. By edge of the Safeway Center; I'm talking about past the Rite Aid and past the Chaat Café. It's literally the last suite on the strip. $12.95 for a dozen freshly fried donuts. The donuts were super fresh, fluffy, and light at every bite. I could have easily eaten the whole box. Thank god I brought it to work to share with others. I'm sooo happy that a donut shop finally opened up close to home. My wife and I are here over 20-years now from Dunkin' land where great doughnuts, the best, rule. We had pretty much given up on finding a doughnut shop here where the stuff has proven to be... well, I guess proven to be SO inferior and just not Dunkin', and the nearest one of those to us here in Natomas is like 20-miles away. Today I was in the plaza where this place is. Holly has been telling me she's tried it and it's good. So I figured what the heck and bought a couple of them. Holy Cow! I could've just walked out of a Dunkin'... they were great! I swear that they were the first to meet my standards out here in the Provinces. Can't vouch for the coffee didn't buy one (I have my own Dunkin' stash at home.) In case you're keeping score I grabbed a chocolate frosted donut and a biscuit that was basically a hole-less "Old Fashion" (plain donut.) This is a nice little donut bakery in Natomas. It's $1.35 for one donut which is a bit more than at a grocery store and Safeway happens to be next door. However, the donuts are fresh, soft, and have a lot of variety. I got my usual glazed donut. It wasn't too sweet and just enough to fill me up. Great donuts, but my pickup order was missing half a dozen "fancy donuts". I specifically ordered two dozen and two half dozens because I split them up at my firm between two floors. I figured they combined the two into the third box and requested an additional box but I opened the box and found out they did not. They had forgotten my second half dozen. Mistakes happen and usually I won't post a review about it. However, the phone number on the website, no one ever picks up no matter the 5-6 times I've called. I used the contact page on the website, no responses. Which means I physically have to drive over there to maybe get my refund which I'm not very happy about. They never have any donuts after 8:30 am on weekdays. Let's make less than 75 donuts and no donut holes. They should be called "Sometimey's" as sometimes they have donuts sometimes they don't. I needed 2 1/2 dozen glazed donuts for my daughters class, to celebrate her birthday. I called to make sure they had enough. The girl on the phone was very friendly and offered to pack them up to make sure they had them for when I got there. When I arrived all my donuts were ready. I'm not a huge fan of the gentrified donuts that comes with a whole bunch of unnecessary sugary toppings and thankfully this place sticks to the classics. My favorites are the blueberry glazed and blueberry cake donuts! The reason for the 5 stars: I came in hoping for the blueberry glazed donuts but the owner (I'm assuming the sweet old lady is the owner) said they didn't have any for the day... BUT the guy who was cranking out donuts in the back said if I didn't mind waiting a few minutes, he can make them fresh for me! I honestly would have been fine with buying whatever they had available, but how could I refuse?!?!? And sure enough, I got my freshly made donuts! I'll definitely keep coming back! read more

I would say they make really good donuts, why I gave such a low stars is because every time I go there they're always out of their supplies... But they never put any supplies out there till someone says something... When you're out of something make it right away... This happens multiple times as this establishment... Not only that it's overpriced donuts that is outrageous... This was my go-to donut shop until recently. Lately they have been closed before 11 am, with a sign reading "SOLD OUT". How does that happen? The deal breaker was on 11/24/2021 I was helped by a woman with the personality of a mop. I asked where the hazelnut coffee was, and she dryly told me there was no hazelnut coffee today. I asked her if she planned to brew some. She barked NO! I will NEVER go back to that donut shop. The two ladies who are normally running the store are very nice. A new welcome addition to Natomas. Been to this place few times and every time we are greeted with a smile and a very customer friendly attitude. Won't go too much in details about donuts as I am not an expert but can tell from the few that I have tried that they are absolutely delicious and worth the trip. My wife frequently takes a dozen of them to work to be shared with her coworkers and they all love them. Personally for me, apart from their yummy donuts, what has got me hooked to this place is their Coffee. I am very picky when it comes to a good cup of Joe. Natomas donuts has amazing coffee, lattes, Mochas, Chai both iced and hot. Right now when you check-in on Yelp you will be promoted for a 15% discount. If that is not enough, they have a Happy Hour every day from 3pm to 4pm where you can buy one and get one for free. Now that's a steal ladies and gentlemen. FYI- Happy hour excludes the speciality donuts. Life is short, so Do'nut Worry much and enjoy these yummy treats. read more

This shop is close to me and based on 'high reviews' decided to visit them despite I always go to bad bakers, Marie's donuts and other great donut places. This turned out to be an average 3 star donut shop, you can tell they skimp on ingredients like apple when making their paws and apple fritters. The dough is also Safeway quality and taste.
