Stellar golfing experience. Bought a Peter Miller jacket and the most comfortable pair of golf shoes I've ever worn (Foot Joys) at the pro shop. All greens were well kept and the course was challenging. Staff on point too. Special spot for competitive golf.

Ok....so I might be a little biased but hey...it's not what you know it's who you know... I have played 5 of the 6 courses here....I prefer the Weiskopf course because the layout is fairly wide open....better for my game..... But if you are looking for a scenic course...you must try the Palmer or Nicklaus Private courses.... Get to know a member!!!! Both of these course run against the mountains and later in the afternoon on the Palmer course you may get a chance to see some Bighorn sheep up and close. I guess I'm lucky that my brother is a member here so I get to try all the courses with him...... Staff is friendly and courteous....only bummer is that the Cart Girls usually only go to the public courses because the members usually bring there own stuff.... I need my mid day Bloody Mary to help my game!!!!! Hahah Met some good people here!!! Great place to enjoy Golf!!

This place is like a golf shrine. I felt like I was stepping into golf history, many of greats have played here and it evident by the naming of the bar and holes. The bar is swank and the golf shop is too notch. The Stadium Course is tough with the rough, water, long fairway bunkers and undulating fairways. But if your a golf fan and a above average golfer this place is a must.

Played my bachelor party round here. Insanely hot, but what do ya expect for a noon tee time? The starter was extremely friendly and chatted us up a bit, the bag valets were top notch, and the facilities were second to none. Definitely had a blast! Can't wait to do it again!!! Thanks PGA West!

What great golf....no better place in CA with so many very good to excellent golf courses. Come down in the summer and they almost pay you to play the courses. Couple on the Bob Hope List. Try the Stadium Course for life's true test.

Played the Stadium course. The starter describes it as "The toughest test of golf in the nation". Beautiful course, beautiful facilities and fast, friendly service! Had the clubs shipped here a day before my arrival and they were on the cart and ready for me when I arrived. Good thing too because my flight was late getting in to LAX and I had to move quickly. They were very accommodating though, even let me tee off a few minutes late just to get a little warm up time at the practice tee. There were no groups behind us so it really wasn't a problem. Wish the pro shop would have stayed open a bit longer so I could have gotten a shirt but we did finish very close to dark. Valet service was fantastic, kept the car close for me. The course? Everything you would expect from a TPC facility. I've played 4 TPC courses in my life coast to coast (with more to come) and they never disappoint.

Course is in the worst shape I've ever seen. Jack needs to see this place. Painted rocks as tee markers. What a downturn

The course itself is demanding, lots of waste areas that you need to avoid. The conditions were good the day we played. The greens were excellent. I think that the clubhouse is under construction, along with other improvements. They were serving lunch and breakfast. Highly recommend the breakfast burrito. I would definitely come back and see how it develops.

The biggest issue was I was also charged $45 for a non-golfer rider--the same price I paid to actually play the round. The woman at the front desk told me it was because my rider would be "taking away a cart" from another golfer. The irony? I was sent out as a single, so there never was another golfer to share the cart with. Charging someone the full cost of a round based on a hypothetical situation that never even happened is a ridiculous policy and left a terrible first impression. To make matters worse, I passed two marshals sitting in their carts with their heads buried in their phones. They could have easily helped me locate a ball if they were paying attention to the hole they were sitting on. The bright spot was the cart staff. They were friendly, cleaned my clubs, and even offered extra water as we were leaving. They provided the best customer service of the day. It's a shame because the course itself is enjoyable and has a great layout, but the overall experience is let down by poor communication, questionable policies, and poor management. With better customer service and transparency, this could easily be a course I'd recommend. Right now, it's hard to justify coming back.

This set of holes has to be the prettiest I have seen, as of yet. Traditions course is expansive and very well laid out. The greens are very well kept, as are the grounds around it. The houses that have been built into the course are massive as well as beautiful, boasting equally as scenic views from virtually everywhere. My favorite part of this course has to be the 17th, it is not for the faint of heart or those who lose their balance easily. The climb up is steep and rocky, and a bit scary on the way down as well. Once at the top, you will see what I am speaking of, a grand seemingly endless view of the not only the course but of the vast San Jacinto Mountains, and the valleys between the ranges. Is there a better way to spend a beautiful summer like afternoon in March? I sure can't think of anything. Except maybe to follow up a nice game with an old fashioned or two. Which is exactly what we did, on the lovely patio in the club house. Which provided more wonderful views for our party to enjoy while relaxing. If the opportunity presents itself I would love to make a return visit. Next time I hope I have the set of Taylormade's I have had my eye on.

The staff was very helpful in getting me quickly to the tee box which I appreciated. My play was a little scrappy in the beginning but it took me a few holes to get used to the course. Overall the course was in mediocre condition specifically the fairways were tight and thin, and the greens were very scrappy and bumpy. There also were many dead/brown spots on almost all the greens. The course itself had a few scenic holes that played against the mountainside. For the price, I was not too surprised at the condition of the course. I could not find the Dunes course here so my review for it will go here. In the afternoon I played the Dunes course which was a flatter Pete Dye course running side by side to the Mountain course. Unfortunately the course was also in the same condition of the Mountain course. The only problem was the 120 degree F weather I had to contend with. I honestly lasted 16 holes before succumbing to the heat on the last two holes. In all honesty, I will probably spend more time on the three PGA West courses about 10 minutes further south, before considering these courses. Also the prices did match the quality of these courses.
