Played the celebrity course this weekend and unfortunately the poor behavior from course marshals…read moreovershadowed what should have been a good group outing. We were stopped at the turn and told we had to skip two holes due to complaints from the group behind that we were holding up play. The group behind was our friends who hadn't complained or waited for us all day. Instead of a reasonable conversation, the marshal informed us that we obviously don't play much (I was 2 over) and we didn't have a choice. As we drove down the 10th, we could see the group behind still playing approach shots to the 9th, and the group behind that wasn't even on the 9th yet. He led us to the twelfth hole, where there was a backup and we waited for every shot for the remainder of the round. I've never encountered a course employee with this type of attitude, let alone expecting it when paying this much to play.

We've been to tons of golf courses, but this was by far the best course I've ever played. The conditions of the course were great. The red tees are positioned perfectly. Some courses have them too far back. Par 3's were fun & intimidating. Almost always water and or bunkers! This was also an affordable round. $84 including cart! Can't wait to come back! The staff were also so nice as well!

I can see why people want to live here. All of the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. One even told us to have a blessed evening . The concert was amazing but I felt sorry for the singer because it was windy and the air is dry here. Not a got for singing. We had a lovely time and the concert was fantastic. We decided to walk back to the parking and it was about 2 miles but a much enjoyable walk.

It is a very challenging course though. Narrow fairways and tough greens. I would not recommend golfing here if you're shanking the ball all over the place. Only downside is that there is no driving range but you get over it pretty quickly because for how tough the course is, a driving range ain't gonna make a difference. I think this course is ideal for your afternoon round after your more serious round in the morning. I golfed at PGA West course earlier in the week and would rather golf here again! I had an early tee time on one of the hottest days of the year and I was almost late. My friends…read moreand I made up of a threesome with a single joining our group. The staff was very helpful in getting me quickly to the tee box which I appreciated. My play was a little scrappy in the beginning but it took me a few holes to get used to the course. Overall the course was in mediocre condition specifically the fairways were tight and thin, and the greens were very scrappy and bumpy. There also were many dead/brown spots on almost all the greens. The course itself had a few scenic holes that played against the mountainside. For the price, I was not too surprised at the condition of the course. I could not find the Dunes course here so my review for it will go here. In the afternoon I played the Dunes course which was a flatter Pete Dye course running side by side to the Mountain course. Unfortunately the course was also in the same condition of the Mountain course. The only problem was the 120 degree F weather I had to contend with. I honestly lasted 16 holes before succumbing to the heat on the last two holes. In all honesty, I will probably spend more time on the three PGA West courses about 10 minutes further south, before considering these courses. Also the prices did match the quality of these courses.

Drove out here last week with some buddies from Menifee. Took 1ht 45 min to get there. For a…read moremunicipal golf course it is very expensive. I have played at some that are just as decent for $15 for 9 holes and replay is $8. So for almost $50 plus $15 for a cart it is a little expensive for what you get. With that being said they are building a large pro shop / restraunt. Maybe thats the justification for the higher fees. The starter/marshall was friendly and knowledgeable. There were some teens and some that maybe should stick to the range a few more times before they come to a course. I should have to wait to tee off so that you can take your 3rd shot from the middle of my fairway and be pointed backwars back to your hole. All the holes are par 3, so its fairly quick. Took three of us about 2 hrs 20 min and thats with having to wait for a group in front of us to pick it up. The greens are decent and challenging. If you go in the middle of the day its not as busy. Our tee time was 4:40 and the course was pretty empty but as we finished the front 9 it was getting busy and by the time we finished the 18th it was packed. It was fun but for the price we can find PGA level courses closer to us.
