A great, older establishment with much character, PH Steakhouse has an absolutely stellar staff. The drinks are wonderful and the food is really fresh and delicious. Although the place can be a little chilly on occasion due to age, it's still welcoming. At times, food presentation is weak. Second visit and looking forward to a third.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon after Apple picking at Alsted Farms a few minutes away. It was about at 3:30 or so and the place was not packed. Good thing for us because we walked in and needed a table for 15 people. They confirmed twice the number of people were correct. In less than 10 minutes, they had us all seated. Our waiter was a younger gentleman and was completely attentive and courteous. He answered all our questions on the food and provided any recommendations he could. He was too young to provide cocktail recommendations, but that was totally fine with us. The venue had a great old school steakhouse vibe. There were antique pieces throughout the place. I ordered margarita and turkey club and no complaints on my food. No one else complained on their food. Good time overall.

My husband and I went on Father's Day. They had an all you can eat pig roast. The service was great. A great looking place.

This was a disappointing experience overall. The first hiccup was a miscommunication about the reservation and the restaurant tried to cancel the reservation after the booking was made. After arriving, the service was slow and the server indicated they were short staffed. One steak at the table was supposed to be cooked medium well. It came out rare and had to be sent back not once but twice to be corrected. Two medium rare hamburgers were ordered at the table. One came out well done and the other was medium. As a steakhouse, cooking meat to the desired temperature be paramount to an excellent customer experience. Upon getting the bill I thought it was tacky and in bad taste to add a credit card surcharge, especially after such poor service. On a positive note, the sides were good.

We stayed at this hotel & ate at this restaurant twice during New Year's weekend. First of all, if you love historical places, this place is for you! The building was built in 1810 & has been a hotel & restaurant for over 200 years (except when it was turned into a school for a few years). The food & drinks here are also excellent. I forgot to take pictures of all our plates but I got some. The rooms, in the historic part of the building/the front of the building, are gorgeous. It was amazing to be staying where people of the Regency & Victorian era stayed. The staff here is very cheerful, polite & helpful, especially Chris (the hotel manager/owner?) We had a great stay & I can't wait to go back. Btw, the town of Chester is great too! There are a lot of shops & restaurants surrounding the hotel & most of them are in historical/historical-looking building too. There are also a ton of antique shops, family farms & shopping centers nearby. It's a great weekend getaway. But, if you go overnight, stay at the Public House. It's beautiful & memorable.

Pleasantly surprised! I wasn't sure what to think based on some mixed reviews, but I am so glad I went here! Everything was great! Our server Dom was on top of everything and knowledgeable. Apps were great, we ordered the fried calamari and the poke tuna. For dinner we had the demonico, roasted chicken with mushroom risotto, short ribs, and filet. Truly happy with all of it.

The ribeye steak was a whole slice of meat. It had a decent thickness. The ribeye was soft to the bite. I would have liked the ribeye to be chopped up like a classic cheesesteak. The hoagie roll was soft. The waffle fries were delicious. It had battered to it. It was a great side to the cheesesteak. The cheeseburger was medium rare and was perfectly cooked. The burger was very tasty with a classic side order of tots! Brings back memories of childhood lunches. The French onion soup was to perfection! The provolone cheese was charred perfectly. The cheese charred on the side was delicious. The soup with the French bread was not as salty as your typical French onion soup! Which made it even more enjoyable! They have a decent beer selection on tap! Our food came out quick which was perfect since we were really hungry!

Each dish was so flavorful and fresh. The duck was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and plated in a delicious curry. The drunken noddles came with chicken and shrimp, and were loaded with yummy veggies. The Mussaman Curry had lots of beef and veggies, and the curry sauce itself was so fragrant, flavorful, and rich. The Pla Rad Prik was similar to the duck in that it was crispy on the outside and very warm and tender on the inside. It came with a similar sauce to the duck, and was plated with beautiful vibrant veggies on top. The ambiance of Thai Kitchen is excellent. I was very impressed when i walked in by the cozy and warm, yet upscale decor. It has the vibe of a small, upscale thai restaurant that you could find in Manhattan. I would definitely come back and bring friends if I was showing them around the neighborhood. The service was similarly warm and upscale. We received each of our dishes quickly and with a friendly smile. This is DEFINITELY going to be my new go-to for thai in this area.

The nice lemon sour taste. The roti canai was ok. It was not the best I have tasted. I couldn't really taste the curry. It was a little on the sweet side with a spicy kick. And the potatoes should be more cooked to bring out the starch. This would make the soup a little thick. They used white chicken meat. It would have been better if they used the chicken thighs. It would have made it more tasty! Their pancake is more like a pancake. It was a little small. I am more familiar with the Indian style pancake, big, thin, and crispy on the outside. And stretchy when you pulled it apart to take a piece. We ordered two BBQ beef and beef pad khing. The BBQ beef was very good. They came out with it on a hot cast iron square plate! They poured the BBQ sauce, and the sauce was sizzling! The portion was small for the price! I would have loved a little pepper flakes to give it a kick. But I am not the chef. The beef pad khing, was good. It would have been better if the beef were seared! We really didn't taste the ginger even though it was supposed to go have ginger. And I didn't see any scallions. But the taste was good. The crispy pan
