Philly Steaks. Says it all right. Yes mostly. Boy do I love them. I've also grown to like the cheez whiz variation as well. I know, I know, but what can I say aside from the truth. It would seem that I like the way it tastes! Philly Steak phillys. First of all they are huge. And fully loaded with that thin cut chopped up rib eye steak meat. They are definitely shareable. Unless you don't want to share. Then don't! Ha! They offer some additions like roasted red peppers or sweet peppers if that's your thing. I ordered mine with the roasted red peppers but shoulda just went classic with the onion and cheez whiz. Next time perhaps. Seeing as I was calling it in, never been there, didn't know that my philly was going to be monstrous in size, I thought a side of fries was in order. I ordered a regular of Craby Fries. Apparently they are seasoned with Old Bay seasoning. I can work with that I thought. They should be tasty. Well, I think they would have been, but here's what happened. I called my order in for pick up. I guess there was some confusion with the orders and I got someone else's fries in my bag. They ordered the bucket, which was literally a small bucket! Craby fries with cheese on them. The cheez whiz to be exact. Now, it sounds great, yes I agree, but by the time I got the food home, it was all soggy and it was a big ol' clump of fries and cheese. We tried to eat a few but that was the best we could do. I don't recommend unless you are eating it there. All and all, it was a good experience. I will surely order the philly again, and I want to order the fries. I will plan to eat in instead of take out. Can't wait. read more

I ate the Duke Philly, which comes with pepper jack cheese, fried onions, and green chile. I removed the fried onions. The sandwich has a nice kick to it with the combination of pepper jack cheese, and green chile. The bread is pretty good. The fries are very large and seasoned well. The service was very good and very fast. There was a rude customer that was yelling at the person working at the cash register. She was doing a very good job helping customers as well as answering the phone. He just kept yelling at her not to ignore the phone. He kept telling her what to do. Alrighty!!!!!! Ordered take out this evening for my family to try!!! Boy oh boy!!!!! I ordered a small cheese steak with peppers and onions and provolone and fries and we split it...3 ways because I was being nice. Imma stop being nice because I could have had the 6" to myself with the Cuban mustard on the side!!! Place was clean and fries were even good on the reheat at home. I like the fact that you can customize your cheesesteak but for what you pay you get about half the size of what you would get in a real cheesesteak back home in Philly. In LA there's a place called the South Philly experience for the same price look at the size of the cheesesteaks in there as a good reference. The original two owners were from South Philly. I think now that they sold it to a local couple that they should take down the sign that says "yes we're from Philly" because the new owners are in no way from Philadelphia! I had the large philly with peppers, onions, cheese whiz, and pizza sauce. You get to pick your cheese and they have options. The pizza sauce costed a little extra. It is good but a little expensive in my opinion. The inside of the restaurant is clean. There is no table service. It is fast food concept in that you order from the cashier and fill your own drink. I don't usually crave philly cheesesteaks but when I do.. i would come to this place! The sandwiches are huge! It was about a footlong and loaded with tons of protein! My family and I got the green Chile cheesesteak with provolone, two cheesesteaks with provolone, a bucket of crabby fries, and regular crabby fries, both with the cheese wiz on the side since I had to take it to go. It was a little pricey though.... everything was about $45. But you get what you pay for, a half of a sandwich made me full! It was really tasty because I'm used to seeing really greasy cheesesteaks, but not this one! It was just the right amount of grease. Great food and greater portions. Make sure to bring your appetite because the sandwiches here are huge. They use high quality ingredients and all cold cuts are sliced to order. On this visit, I split a grilled onion, mushroom, green chile and provolone philly. I asked them not to chop the ribeye so much and it was delicious! Very sad day. I have been eating at this establishment since it opened. Today we arrived there all 12:05 pm. Philly for lunch, yeah! We were immediately told we would have to wait 45 min to an hour. Apparently they are no longer capable of serving lunch and dealing with call in orders. I know the food there is exceptional but this is just unacceptable. I'm absolutely over the moon for The Philly! This Philly is overloaded with meat and cheese. It's a gooey-good, multi-napkin meal. The bread is soft and fresh. No condiments are needed. Partner and I each got one, with a regular fry. Finished the fries and had food to take home. We got traditional Philly's with Cheez Whiz, added grilled onion. I've never been to Philadelphia, yet I'm guessing that this is a near-perfect replication of that signature sandwich! The regular French Fry was enough for two. They do have "buckets" if you're so inclined. Like the sandwich, the fries are perfectly cooked: Crispy with good flavor. My only seriously small complaint are the teeny-tiny forks. There is spillage with that awesome sandwich; a bigger fork would be helpful... The staff are friendly and answered all menu questions. The pricing is incredibly reasonable. Hungry from moving furniture all day, my family and I ordered a Philly meal with onions extra mushrooms and no bell peppers. The nightshades make me very sick, I'm not sure it's not an allergy but it is near equivalent by the way it irritates my stomach. I haven't gotten a full diagnosis yet. My sister ordered a meal with out bell peppers as well. A third meal was ordered with bell peppers. Fairly specific. All three came with bell peppers. This was my first time here. It smells wonderful when you walk in. All of the staff are super friendly. I got the Italian hoagie with a side of craby fries. The sandwich was huuuge. Packed with meat. Delicious sandwiches and fries are always the norm at this authentic tasting philly sub and burger shop. It's owned by local folks who greet every guest with a smile. A good sandwich but too EXPENSIVE! They charge for extras on sandwiches that should be offered at no charge considering their prices. They charge the same price for those extras on a 12" as they do on a 6" using half the extras. That's just too greedy considering what they charge for the sandwiches. I went over here to have a Philly steak sandwich. I have not been here in a while. They have new owners. They are doing an excellent job at maintaining the food quality of the old owners. I'm not quite sure what all the hype is about this place. We saw that there had been a bunch of people in the restaurant, so we assumed it was good food. We ordered a 6" and a 12" Duke & a large order of onion rings. The price was outrageous for the quality of the food. When you pay $8 for an order of onion rings you would think you'd get a lot. Unfortunately, the large order was more for a single person. The onion rings were really good but not for $8. As for the Duke sandwiches, they lacked flavor. I had to use the different mustards to flavor my sandwich up. On the bright side, the service was good. The employees were attentive. I didn't care for the super-soft loaves they used. There wasn't any bread flavor at all, but they did a great job soakin' up a ton of grease. The kids working there were all nice, and I did appreciate that they admitted none of them were from the Philadelphia area, which according to their website's statement that, 'We are from Philly,' is misrepresentation to me.
