Flavorless! Ordering online is easy, they had the sandwiches ready on time, but all three sandwiches lacked flavor. One of my coworkers ordered the spicy chicken and he said the chicken had no flavor! He threw away half of the sandwich because it was so bad. This was not the best philly. We are trying our best to support businesses during these trying times but I don't think we can spend our money here again. Our philly CHEESEsteaks had virtually NO cheese, even though we paid for extra cheese. Maybe ordering 5 at one time was too much for them to handle. We even ordered ahead using online ordering to give them enough time. Super disappointed. Two stars because the meat at least had very good flavor. I think this place might be hit or miss, depending on the staff. But it was a miss for us. *Also* walking into the store it was extremely hot. I have been coming to this location for years and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and delicious. My order is always correct and customer service is always spot on. I tried the club last night and it was delicious! The meat and vegetables were fresh and delicious and the chicken on the top was hand shredded! Others with me had the Philly's Best and the BBQ beef and they were very happy with their meals. Restaurant was clean, well lit and we enjoyed watching some basketball on the televisions. The new owner said he is using more signage and updated the menu. Since it was our first time we ordered the "Philly's Best" to set a bar. It was really good. Very close to Pat's and Ginos in Philly. The sweet peppers and onions were really good and the bread was super fresh. They have a pickle and pepper bar that is a nice addition. There are vegetarian options too if you don't like cheesesteak and lots of hoagie options. The new owner said he took over just before Thanksgiving 2019, and he is working on making lots of positive changes. We were totally impressed and will be back again and again.
