We did a Saturday night order around 5:30pm, and the food got to us at 6pm (we live 10-15 min away). Everything came packaged nicely, sealed and no spills. We ordered: -House Special Pho: broth was soooo flavorful and hot. Plenty of meat portions and they provide all the additional toppings (mint leaves, bean sprouts, hoisin sauce, sriracha, etc). the noodles are also really good -Fried egg rolls: this is usually served as four pieces in other places (Pho 24 only gives you three) but they do make them slightly bigger here. they're also pretty good - though they did get kinda salty -Grilled pork banh mi: ok this was a hitttt. get this. the meat is so tender and grilled to perfection, and it's also a hugeee sandwich. they put the jalapeños on the side! Interior is new, fresh, clean and modern; service was great, just that they forgot my Iced coffee and I had to ask for it - which was decent, right strength, a little too sweet but good. Started with the pork & shrimp wontons - they were okay, the sweet & sour sauce was the chili sauce easily found in any market, even Safeway and Lucky... My friend had the #33 the Grilled Jumbo Prawn & Onion Beef Vermicelli w/egg rolls - it is literally 1 grilled prawn and the egg rolls are only plural because it's cut in 1/2, so 2 pieces, 1 egg roll. He said it was just okay, the beef could have been more tender and flavorful and the sauce should have had more fish sauce, adding the sweet chili sauce sort of diluted the flavor. Same for my #40 similar to the #33, just pork - same issue...we were starving, it should have tasted...well, better. The passion fruit milk tea was barely flavored. Been to both! This one has way better service than the other one and is more affordable and clean! All the traditional Pho options are available and the service is efficient and detailed . I actually got a clean spoon here to drink my soup from! It's busy and smells good upon entry! I will go back when in this side of town . My mom and I were driving around headed to Oakridge to get some shopping done and we passed a sign that said "Grand Opening"! I quickly checked Yelp and saw that a new Pho place opened, which actually had a special from (12.13 - 12.20), so we had to check it out. A new Pho place in the neighborhood? We had to try. We had to order the Pho, because... it is a Pho place. I ordered the Large Pho Dac Biet (#1 Special) and my mom got a Small Pho Tai Gan. Lets just say the portions are pretty big. I am one to finish my Pho, but I actually could not finish mine here. The Small was literally the size of a Large at another Pho restaurant. The Large here was EVEN BIGGER. Overall, the restaurant itself is pretty clean and the staff were nice and still figuring things out. (They are still new, so they will figure it out) There's a lot more options than Pho on the menu, so I definitely will got to try the other options. The Pho broth was just okayyyyy. It did not WOW me, but it also didn't disappoint me. So it was just so-so. There was an interesting after taste... I don't know. My Tips: -The Portions were HUGE. Maybe use different bowls? Because the servers looked like they were struggling carrying it around -TOO MUCH BROTH. Compared to the noodles and the actual bowl, they put A LOT of broth. Solid pho spot in south san jose. As you all know, South San Jose is slacking when it comes to good food imo. Esp vietnamese food! They do close early at 9pm so last call is 8:30pm. They allow indoor dining at 25% capcity. They have a huge tent set up outside for outdoor dining. Lately, the portions have been huge! Way too much food. Pho is $5.99 until Wednesday or Thursday! This is for the size small and is for their grand opening promotion. I came yesterday on their second or third day open and they were a full house around 7 PM. The space is modern and clean. There's plenty of parking. It's in the same plaza as BevMo across the street from Oakridge Mall. They play pop and hip hop music at a fun volume. I got the pho Tai chin and also tried the bun thit nuong with egg rolls. The egg rolls were delicious. The bun bowl was nicely arranged and proportioned in terms to meat: noodle: vegetable ratio. The nuoc mam was a little on the bland side and could have been stronger. The pho was great and had a good proportion of meat. I am very happy to have another pho place since this area of San Jose doesn't really have many. I will be coming back for sure. read more

FIRST OFF, IT'S ONLY $5.99 FOR A BOWL OF PHO THE FIRST WEEK!!!! HELL YES! The pho is delicious AND it's no msg! I love how their chicken pho is all white meat and how savory their beef pho is. I've been to their first restaurant near Santana Row many times and this one is just as good. The only difference is this Pho 24 has a boba shop in it too called Sweet Tea! Everything is so cute and all the drinks my group ordered was super yummy! My favorite was the Wintermelon Mjlk Tea and the Lychee Milk Tea! They also have sea crema drinks which tasted on par with Happy Lemon's popular sea crema drinks!! Can't wait to try everything else on the menu! If you're not feeling pho, the filet shaking beef over tomato rice is SOOOO good too!!! I'm getting hungry again, lol! Oh, and the restaurant is so clean. Forgot to write this review the other day it happened. My bf & i have been going to their Winchester location for about 6 years now, we relocated and seen they had opened this location which was closer to us now. We've been to this location 2 times and we are no longer coming back because we received horrible service both times. First time we visited, we had called prior to arriving asking if we could still be seated because we saw they closed at 9 & they told us we can be seated as long as we're there by 8:30. We arrived around 8:20 the man with the glasses who is always at the register and just plain rude was just ignoring us, I asked to get seated & he said they're only doing "to go" orders and we can no longer eat there. We explained to him that we had just called and he claimed they never received a call & we must have dialed their other location. We showed him our call log and after he saw we had the RIGHT number he had nothing to say other than we cant eat there even though their was people who had just gotten there before us who had been seated. We didn't care to argue bc we wanted to eat so we ordered our food, they were taking awhile and they kept saying it was coming soon & after 30 minutes had passed my bf got up to ask why its been taking so long and one of the other male workers (im assuming hes the manager) grabbed our food from the counter so it had been sitting there all along, the guy said sorry & his excuse was that its "busy" and they were closing. Second time we came in, we got even worse service. Guy at the register was rude as usual, always has attitude and sits there on his phone. We were told we have to order at our table & it took about 15 minutes for our order to be taken. Mind you there was NO ONE there when we placed our order. My bf ordered an avocado smoothie & it was so thick he couldnt even get it up the straw so he asked the guy at the register if he could blend it more and all he said was "no" & threw it in the trash? That wasn't even the worst part, we received only 2 items out of our order which was pho & a beef plate but were missing our egg rolls. After about 15 minutes, we notified the waiter about the egg rolls and she said she was going to get them. Another 15 minutes passed by and we still didnt receive them so my bf got up and went to go tell the manager and he brought the egg rolls to us and was so mad they got called out on their horrible service that he felt like it was okay to disrespect us. He told us he has the right to refuse service to us and if we have a problem with them we're not allowed to eat there & kept telling us we arent allowed to come back. He kept insisting how they're so busy and thats why they forgot our food when there was no one there when we ordered and only about 2 other tables had shown up since then. Also can't forget to mention that the guy at the register was just on his phone the whole time and gossiping with one of the waitresses. How are we in the wrong when all we are doing is letting them know we aren't receiving the food we ordered? Anyways, we're never going back there. read more

I came to order a few dishes in June 24, they're ok, but what I didn't like was, the total bill was $$$.78 cents. Took my family here to eat lunch recently. We live close by but never really noticed this spot because it's kinda tucked away. So glad we stopped by to try it. The Pho broth was perfect. I expected to get a classic order of fried rice with chicken, beef and shrimps but I got some sort of sea food fried rice (including 3 shrimps). Although I'm not a big fan of sea food, the rice was delicious. The spring rolls were just okay. They were "good looking" rolls but they needed more protein and less noodles. New place in the neighborhood. We decided to try it out. Tried the Vietnamese crepe for an appetizer. Very bland. Egg batter had no flavor. (Shrugging shoulders) Ok...moving on. I ordered a sprite and realized after a few sips that there was red lipstick stains on my cup that I was drinking from. Looked at my husband..."I'm not wearing lipstick." It was NOT my lipstick. Ugh! Be careful with delivery order. We always liked to eat pho at this place. During shelter in place, we have been getting take out from them . Everything was good until I ordered delivery today. When you order delivery, you can't check the food at the restaurant. I ordered duck noodle soup with rice noodle, and wonton noodle soup with egg noodle. The noodles were mixed up with different items. Wonton came with rice noodle in 1 container with greens, so I can't really separate that as I ordered it for a relative.
