I placed an order a little after 6pm today for delivery. It says 35-55 mins...I figured it's busy since it's dinner time. Then, I got a call from the restaurant about 20 minutes later to tell me that they don't have the ingredient for one of the items I ordered, and if I'd like to substitute for something else (so I did). I was happy they were nice enough to call about that. So around 7:30 pm and food still wasn't here, I decided to check the status of my order and it says it was delivered half an hour ago. I have had boba from this location before using my doordash app. I got calamari and a pearl tea. It was really good and I enjoyed it. With that I decided to check out the restaurant. I came in around 6 pm, it wasn't too busy at all. We were seated right away and thats when it began. We were not given menus or approached after that. We were seated right next to the door so I could see more people being seated. After being ignored for about 10 minutes we decided to leave. As we left they called out WAIT WE CAN HELP YOU!!! But we were over it by then. I am giving this location 2 stars because they had great boba. However my experience there was not great at all. Pros - Great service Servers speak both Vietnamese and English fluently Clean/modern decor Cons - They don't have all the meat options for pho. I normally get Nam, Gau, Bo Vien, but they don't have Gau there. No fresh pho noodles (banh pho tuoi) The pho noodles kept breaking. You couldn't pick it up with chopsticks since it kept breaking and the noodles were all clumped together. Broth was mostly star anise flavor and you couldn't taste any bone broth. I ordered the Hieu Tieu Kho and it was so sweet and greasy. All it was was a ton of garlic. No other flavors, no ground pork, etc. The meat was also too lean and dry. Both my husband and I kept complaining our mouth felt greasy after, even though he had pho and I had Hieu Tieu. If I could give zero stars I would, this place has become a total you know what hole. Service has always been bad from the little pos behind the counter with glasses, today just did it for me, he brought me a cup of water, my husband noticed it was dirty, and asked for a new cup,so he grabbed it set it on the counter and literally got a new cup and poured the water from the dirty cup in the new cup. We watched the waitress that talks to herself drop a bunch of cups on the floor and pick them up and still serve them to customers, she also dropped soup all over the chair from a table she was cleaning and just left it there. We usually come here all the time, but they are always rude and it's super dirty, especially their damn scissors, so disgusting. Pho: Excellent broth, more than enough noodles. Small size is huge, large is gargantuan. The usual brisket tendon etc was good. Meat balls were usual. Only thing since they are very Covid strict and careful which is greatly appreciated. The hoisin and Siracha that accompanied the Pho was in a tiny container enough for one bite... I kid you not.... however I asked for the bottle and they obliged. Also you need to ask for extra Basil and Bean sprouts. I would suggest that if you like them and you order out. So going forward I always order extra peanut sauce just in case. I also tried the bird nest dish from here, and it was really good. When I ordered for my office I had an extremely good experience! We placed a group order on doordash with 13 items. When the food arrived, nothing was missing. Also each persons order was placed and labeled in individual bags. This extra step made me so appreciative! It's no fun having to figure out whose dish is whose, and they made the entire process extremely easy.
