We were excited to try this place. As others have mentioned, it is a small restaurant tucked away in a shopping center, right off of Thousand Oaks. My wife wanted some Pho, so we decided to give it a try. The dinner started off nice, with a flavorful bowl of wonton soup. She ordered the shrimp pho for the main course, however, after her first bite of the shrimp, she noticed a strange taste. She took a bite of another shrimp, and realized they were rancid. She spit it out and told me to smell it, and it smelled horrible. It was rotten. Smelling rotten meat, especially seafood, ruins your appetite. We told the waiter, and he said he would talk to the kitchen. We decided we didn't want to risk getting sick, so we left our meal uneaten. They took her dish off the check, so we simply paid for our meal and left our food there. We won't be returning back. read more

I went to my local Pho and they were closed for the 2022 Ice-pacolypse, so I went to Yelp and found this gem hidden in a strip center at Henderson Pass and Thousand Oaks behind Walgreens. We usually stick to our common pho place but we decided to stop here due to the great reviews. It did not disappoint. I had the spicy beef pho and it was amazing! My boyfriend who is picky with his pho loved his pho as well. We also had the cream cheese puffs, these weren't my fave just cause I don't like sweet puffs. I've visited Pho 32 three times, two for lunch solo on weekdays and one for dinner on Saturday with my wife. My lunch selections were (1st visit) steak pho, (2d visit) General Tso's Chicken with white rice, (3d visit dinner) Pork Vietnamese Sandwich. My wife had Tofu Vermicelli​. So, three visits, they​ must be doing something right. They're conveniently within​ walking distance​ from my house. That's a plus, but it's not why I visit. The decor and background music are pleasant and don't call​ attention to themselves. The​ premises are clean, including the restroom. The​ service is attentive. It's a full menu, each dish prepared to order, and the food is reasonably priced, attractively presented, and tasty. The iced tea is brewed with a full taste. They accept credit cards, $7.00 minimum. My sole critique is easily corrected. My wife's tofu was overcooked (for her) and rubbery. We'll remember​ to call​​ that to their attention next time we visit. Loved it! Two of us had the chicken pho and one of us had beef with broccoli dinner. All of us loved our meals and will be back to try more items. I can say this was the best pho I have ever had. The service was great. It was a slow Saturday lunch. My husband had the bbq pork and shrimp vermicelli bowl and it was amazing. We also had the coconut taro bubble tea which was awesome as well. Sadly, the pho, while the taste was good, they skimped on the tendon and not all the tendon were tender. I like my pho with a lot of tendon and sprouts. Pulling up to this location you wouldn't know what to expect since the establishment is tucked away in a shopping center with little signage to announce its presence. But I've always practiced and preached, don't judge a book by its cover! Don't let that deter you! The food here is excellent and we had THE friendliest waitstaff. Being a fan of appetizers we decided to try the crunchy shrimp roll and the fresh summer roll with shrimp, both were very tasty and satisfying. I got the spicy beef noodle soup and my love got the seafood combo pho. We devoured our dishes, both were very flavorful and came out nice and hot with fresh veggies to go with! I've only had Vietnamese food a handful of times but this was BY FAR the most delicious Vietnamese I've had yet. I usually am not a fan of summer rolls, but Pho 32's summer rolls were exquisite. I got the chicken ones and the peanut dipping sauce they include makes every bite tastier! My boyfriend had their vermicelli and grilled pork bowl while i opted for the combo Banh Mi roll. Even though i was stuffed after getting through the spring rolls and half my sandwich, i could not stop eating because everything was so tasty! Very flavorful, and of course i had some of my boyfriend's dish as well and it was just as good. The service was very quick and the restaurant was super clean. The pho is among the best ive had, especially the pho ga. This could easily be a 4 or 5 star place. Their food is very good. Their staff is warm and friendly and quick. Their weekness is in listening and providing what is asked for. I asked for ice water with lime, i got plain ice water. I asked for a fork and spoon and got neither. I had to repeat the fork and spoon request, they brought a fort and straw. They served a small wedge of lime with the soup which i put in my water. When they asked if i wanted more water i asked for more ice and lime, again no lime. As I said, they dont listen and provide what is asked for. Its not just one waitress. I enteracted with three different servers. Ill go back for the pho ga and hope they learn to listen. read more

I've been there twice in their first few weeks of operation all the service issues are forgiven. They'll figure it out. I really want to like them. I live very close and I eat pho twice a week. The pho is pretty good. The spring rolls are fine. However I found them skimpy on ingredients. Too little meat and too few noodles. I feel like they have prioritized portion control over customer experience. I prefer to drive a little further (spend a little more) and enjoy the hip vibe, great table service, and amazing cuisine at Basilic Pho or even further to get a steaming and generous portion at Pho Thanh, the best 30+ year old pho joint in Phoenix. I want Pho 32 to realize that there are options in Phoenix and their food needs to stand out a little more. read more

I'm so hooked on their Chicken Lemongrass Vermicelli bowl with Spring Roll. The meat has a nice grilled flavor, onions are soft and veggies fresh. I also have a mild Spring Roll addiction. During this COVID-19 pandemic it's different to eat a "to go" meal at home, it's not the same nor as fresh as I would like it to be. Ordered the Beef Drunken noodles, the beef Phad Thai, an order of Large Fried spring roles and ginger tofu. Let's just say they had an off day. I question whether or not they are aware of what drunken noodles taste like, because there was zero, zero flavor just saltiness and the noodles were stuck together (all of them in clumps and a bit undercooked). You had to know this as you were spooning them in the to go box container. Phad Thai was mediocre at best. The fried spring roles were soggy and seemed as if they had been made the day before and then microwaved and served the day after. The food was not warm at all. Most chinese/thai/pho places serve food piping hot. At least that has been the norm. This was not a cheap meal. I'd recommend going one mile north of this restaurant and order from either Thai Chili or Pho Tommy right across the street. That recommendation also applies to the owner/cooks of Pho32....taste your food then theirs, you will see what I mean. PHO32 still has some learning to do! read more

Short staffed? Came in to a near empty restaurant at 5pm on Thursday. The sole employee offered me a seat. She then proceeded to bus the only dirty table. A couple minutes later, she came back and gave me a menu and asked what I'd like to drink. Didn't see her again until 5 minutes later hanging behind the register. Never got a water, and decided to drive to Pho Tommy instead, right down the street, and got served immediately and happily by their sole employee - easily handling 5 tables.
