My brother & I were ready for an early lunch before noon. Pho 99 was on the corner and he said, "that's my regular place." And "Best Pho in Sarasota". I whole heartedly agree. Great and attentive service. While we sat there Pho 99 filled up with regulars. The word is out. I love the setting, comfortable, quiet, and easy to get around. Our food came. My brother got a Vietnamese soup, wonderfully rich and spiced. I got a mango shrimp salad that was rich flavors and I added chili pepper sauce so I was happy with the experience over all. I highly recommend popping in to Pho 99. They fill up quick.

The food is always very delicious and fresh and authentic! I love this place! The service is very friendly and we're very kind to my service dog providing a water bowl and a kind gift of cooked beef. It's got outdoor seating that I love to people watch and see the nice cars drive by. Very nice place with amazing Pho.

My first experience eating Vietnamese food and they did not disappoint! The Crab Rangoons were the best I have ever eaten. The sauce with them is amazing and I have NEVER eaten sauce with crab Rangoons. I also got the Pork with noodles which was also amazing!! Highly recommend this restaurant!!!. The service was spot on! Very attentive and informative. Perfect! The ambience is very impressive, in fact I commented when we walked in about how cute it was. Wish I had thought to take pictures food!

Was pleasantly surprised with the selection of Pho. Huge portion and great flavor, one of my favorites so far! The Curry was delish also. Truly the BEST pho place I've ever tried. The pho itself is AMAZING, we get the P8, and the restaurant is super clean, and not stinky.. which I can't say about a lot of places. Really bad. Pho tai was flavorless bullion cube broth w bad beef. Spicy beef & pork noodle was weird, and inedible. Pork tasted bad ( rotten ) Shrimp spring rolls were mediocre. Wont be back. Dinner was so bad we ended up at 5 guys on the way home read more

Terrible terrible customer service. Made a family of 5 wait because they didn't want to push two tables together even though there were 6 tables open. Would only seat us at one table were there were people already eating at. The people weren't even done eating and the place empty. There was absolutely no reason we couldn't sit at another table. Will never go back. We were first timers too. Too bad for them. read more

This is not for Vietnamese visitors place unless you really want to eat pho and don't care about quality and price. They have one size bowl. Not a lot of meat but the price is $13. For the pho dac biet, the price is $15. I have a group of fives and we only eat pho, our total bill is $80 because they automatically add tips to the bills. I feel that I have been rob. To the owner, there are many way to get money from your customers but for sure you don't bring a lot of them back using this way read more

Second time having Vietnamese food the first time at a different place was not very good thought I would give it another shot at a different location, saw good reviews for Pho 99 and it was not a let down. Those dishes were very tasty well-prepared and the spring rolls were fantastic and huge. the teas are great it's a very nice atmosphere will definitely be going back. There are several pho restaurants in this part of Sarasota. Pho 99 is the best....fresh, delicious Vietnamese food at a reasonable price. I've eaten here at least eight-ten times and always consistent. In all the times I've been here, the boba tea was the only disappointment...never ordered it again and it doesn't take away from the eating experience. read more

Was not impressed by the food at all. We were served by 3 different people not just one. The staff was not very friendly, when asking about the food I was given short answers. One of the dishes we would have never ordered had we been explained exactly what was in it. We will not be back, we will be heading back to our favorite pho restaurant, regret we tried this place instead. I did like the interior that was it. read more

Food and service is pretty good. Owner is very nice and visits each table. Restaurant is very conveniently located off Clark Rd on I75. I wish the Boba Tea was not from a powder mix but I may be asking too much from a Sarasota restaurant. Surely you could not serve Boba that way in LA or NY or any other major city. I must say that the PHO is excellent along with several other dishes I tried. I will dine frequently since I crave PHO and other Vietnamese dishes. read more

Love the soup here. My husband's favorite is the pho duc biet, and I usually have the pho ga. Both broths are very flavorful, and they're not sweet (some pho places ruin their broth with sugar). The pho ga has moist shredded chicken in it instead of the dry, rubbery chicken breast slices you get at many pho places. The basil, lime, sprouts, and jalapeño are always fresh. The spring rolls and egg rolls are delicious, too. We usually get take-out, but dining in is nice too. The atmosphere is pleasant- it's clean, fresh flowers on the tables, small place, not too noisy. read more

We love this place!! Pho is great always tastes very fresh. We also love the egg rolls, they provide romaine lettuce to wrap them in and they are delicious! Amazing Vietnamese food. My fiancé and I are from Philadelphia where there is a Vietnamese restaurant in every corner and being Vietnamese myself, I have had authentic Vietnamese food. What a wonderful delicious surprise! We got the rice vermicelli bowls and shrimp spring rolls as take out and they are amazing! Fresh and tasty (meat, noodles, lettuce, cucumbers, marinated shredded carrots and mint). The fish sauce was the perfect mix with the vinegar. The staff was very friendly and prompt. We started with tasty spring rolls (shrimp) and those were excellent. We had two pho soup (ample qty) with shrimp and shrimp and fishballs. Our friends ordered quail and loved it. Always wanted to try Vietnamese here in Sarasota but never knew where to go. We decided as a family to give it a go, after reading their menu online. The menu sounded authentic, clean and adventurous. And when we got our food, all of us, including a fussy four year old, tried it and it was absolutely delicious!! Kids had chicken and wonton pho, I had spicy beef, fried quail, shrimp and some yummy fresh spring rolls. We are definitely coming back. OH, they have BOBA teas !!! I only wish their dining area was a bit bigger as to host an office party or birthday party there. read more

For us the food was okay we definitely had much better it didn't really have the flavors of Thai to me. Me ilady ordered chicken pad Thai and I got the MASSAM and I asked for it Thai hot I will say that pepper is hotter than what they called Thai hot there I barely noticed any scoville heat whatsoever. But it did make for a quick lunch The leftovers we had we took thathome and doctored those up. If you're into Thai food or have had really good Thai food there's definitely other spots to get those explosive flavors.

I have been eating pho since the mid-80's and have tried it in many states and a few countries, too. I was starting to feel discouraged because I had struck out a couple of times as I searched my area for a good place, the last being Demi's Noodle House, which served a terrible soup IMO. Thankfully, Pho Street came through! They have a nice building, a clean restaurant, and their servers were all extremely nice. No less than 3 people checked on me to make sure I was doing ok. The soup was served piping hot, the noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth was excellent. I did ask for rare beef and it came a little overdone, but not bad at all. Next time I'll ask for it raw in the hopes that it comes on a separate plate. One thing I think can be improved on is the lemonade. It didn't taste like the fresh, homemade lemonade that you find in most Vietnamese restaurants, it tasted like it was from a machine. Beyond that, I'll be back to Pho Street a lot, probably even in the next day or two! Thanks for the great food and service!

The several pieces of fried oysters and shrimp were flavorful. The basket also had small bites of okra and a fillet of a lightly breaded white fish. Too much food for my wife, enough to fill me up. My plan to try a dessert faded away. Once we paid we headed back to the courtyard to listen to more music before heading out. A very good meal and a pleasant evening, who could ask for more.

My family's favorite appetizer is the Brooklyn Style Wings - maybe because we are from Brooklyn, but the wings are addicting with the flavors of sausage, peppers, and a vinegary sauce. The burger was the most surprising of them all, with big flavor and smokiness infused into every bite of meat. Oysters were clean, fish was fresh, and the homemade chips had the perfect crunch. I'm so glad I discovered Brine, but now am so disappointed that I don't live in Sarasota full time to be able to dine here more often. She did offer to put a new steak for my dad on the grill, but by this time we were at the end of our meal and at this point ready to leave. There are too many options in Sarasota and the area's Keys to visit with better food and service. Ultimately, the sides and apps are good but the steak quality especially for the prices cannot be justified. I've had a steak better meal at an Outback.

I have to say this is absolutely % one of my favorite places to eat at throughout the week after a long day working. I go out to eat 6 days a week. Not only is the food amazing here but the service is on point. They are great about doing special request menu wise as well. Do not go there on a Saturday night! We returned after a good meal we had about four months ago. But this was on a Saturday and they were busy. They apparently don't have the staff to handle it. Our order of Pho noodle soup was tepid and came missing two of our requests. They didn't supply basil by default, like most Vietnamese restaurants (you have to ask for them).
