The food was amazing, with generous portion sizes. We ordered the filet mignon rice, pho short rib, and the all-in rice plate, and everyone really enjoyed their dishes. We ordered takeout and a small part of our order was missing, but they went above and beyond to make it right. They delivered the missing item to our house right away and even included a free drink. This is my go-to local pho spot, and it's always on point. When we relocated from the OC, I wasn't too hopeful about finding a great pho place--but man, was I wrong! It's just minutes from home, family-owned, and everyone is always so kind and helpful. The broth is fire! If you like a great bowl of pho then you have to try this place. I've only been here once but I will be back based on the beef pho bowl that I had. Just great! The restaurant is small but clean and neat and a menu that looks amazing. My server was Deeana was friendly and charming and made me and my wife feel right at home. In a word, this place is a gem. The ambiance is low key and relaxing. The food is above and beyond what you'd expect. The presentation is second only to the flavor. The dishes are expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection. To top it all off, the service was phenomenal. The gentleman who helped us had such a kind and friendly disposition that we did not want to leave. We had the egg rolls, fillet mignon rice plate, the all in rice plate, and the pho with brisket. Came in after my little hiatus (being out of state), and the owners definitely changed. The interior changed, and most importantly the food changed. Service was good, but the hearty broth I've come to love for many years was replaced by a standard typical Vietnamese pho restaurant flavored pho (if you are an avid pho lover like me, you know what I'm talking about). The original owners were elderly and they sold the business in early 2025. Then the second owners sold it to another family in May 2025. I showed up on the first day the new business owners took over mid May and everyone working was confused. Although they did let me know it was their first day, doesn't stop them from charging me twice. They said they only see one charge and to call and dispute the second charge with my credit card. Food is now average. Service can definitely improve, although they were nice, they did not know how the operations worked. I used to go out of my way to support a family business and I'll just stick to my local pho spot which is more generous with their meats and noodles. I wanted to make it clear that the majority of the positive reviews are much older and do not reflect the current state of the restaurant. read more

I have been here several times before the remodel, and it's been a while since this most recent visit, and it was not a pleasant experience. The staff was very nice for the situation. However, the kitchen was very unorganized if you ordered anything other than PHO. Entrees were very spread out and the table was done eating as the last entree was still being prepared. Another pet peeve is the digital menus. I get tech and saving the earth but I think the carbon footprint of menus isn't that big that they get phased out. Part of the PHO experience is looking at the menu! The food also changed, not sure if the restaurant changed ownership or what, but I miss the old PHO Amor. I believe this place is under new ownership. I haven't seen the original owners when I've gone twice. The first time I went, I realized the pho tasted a bit different and there was no peanut sauce for the beef rolls. I then decided to give it another shot. My suspicions were true. It is not the same food. This is sad. This was the best pho in town! I got the pho again and beef rolls. The peanut sauce given was very thick and did not have much flavor. This is by far the best Pho we have had, the quality is great, the portion is a good size and the friendly service makes this a wonderful place to go to when craving Pho. Decent mom and pop shop for Vietnamese food in the area. I ordered take out, which was ready in 20 min. I picked it up within 30 min. I ordered the salt and pepper squid, lemongrass chicken, beef luc lac, steamed chicken Pho and beef all in pho. The Pho were the best dishes, flavorful and decent size portions. However, the veggies they gave me were old. The bean sprouts were brown! Even browner in person than my picture can capture. Not sure if it was because it was packaged next to the Pho broth. The salt and pepper squid were good but could have been cooked a little longer. The batter was crispy on the outside but still a little mushy on the inside. The lemongrass chicken was good. Lemongrass forward in flavor. The beef luc lac was also flavorful. I would definitely come back just for flavor alone. P.S. The take out containers they used for the Pho werent as smooth as I thought they were. While trying to open the noodles, the thin plastic lid had a sharp, rigid edge that cut my finger! Not sure if I've had that happen to me before. And I eat a lot of takeout, especially during the pandemic. So use caution! read more
