I came here last Saturday with my husband and 2 year old child and let me tell you the best pho I have ever had in my life!!!! I am not from norco area. I am from Los Angeles area so we were a distance from home definitely. We were out in this area to go watch my husband play paintball and ended up deciding to eat around the norco area when we were done. I am so glad I found this place! So a very small hole in the wall which has amazing flavors and very good owners. The service was very decent. This place is in Norco CA. It is your typical Pho place but that broth man, yum! Absolutely bliss! The broth has a gingery flavor to it which I have not tasted in any other Pho place. I would totally order other dishes on the menu including their Vietnamese Sandwiches. Used to come here all the time for their spring rolls and peanut sauce (we would always order extra peanut sauce). The spring rolls now seem like they're premade - the veggies have that texture they get from sitting in the fridge, they came wrapped in plastic wrap, and they came out way too fast. I drove from Colton to Norco cause i saw that they have garlic noodle (i love garlic noodle so bad!!). I had 2 order of the House Garlic Noodle W Filet Mignon, 1 ortder of the Truffle Fries, 1 order of the Garlic Chicken Wings and Golden Pearl Salad. Only giving two stars because I like their broth but they are stingy as hell! I spent $30 on a bowl of pho, 2 eggrolls and iced coffee. They couldn't fill my coffee up to the top for one, and two they give you 1 hoisin packet and 1 sriracha and when you ask for extra they give you one of each again. You could atleast give us our moneys worth! Will not be back. I'll find a better pho spot. read more

Discovered this on Yelp, and the reviews are legit. My husband and I enjoyed this place so much, we brought our family, and they too loved it. It is owned by an elderly couple, who are so nice and sweet. The service is excellent and their servers are so nice too. Egg rolls are a hands down must, so crispy on the outside and filling of meat is yummy. Spring rolls are made fresh because they aren't dried and overly chewy. Pho is amazingly flavorful! Checked Yelp for the menu and pricing for Pho Amor before I ordered. There's some discrepancies on prices. The order through Yelp menu says pho is $17 and the photo menus say $9, well when I ordered it was $14. Anyways, called and placed my order for egg rolls, 4 of them, filet mignon pho and all-in pho. Came to the restaurant and picked up my meal. The gentlemen who helped me was super nice and made small talk as I was paying which is nice. Got home and started assembling my pho bowls. The beef balls in the all-in pho was already in the broth and everything else was in the bowl with only noodles. The meat was kind of stringy and the beef balls were really dense. Did not make eating them enjoyable. The filet mignon pho was good, nothing to write home about though. I usually finish my bowl and broth but it just didn't have the strong pho flavor that makes me want to keep eating/drinking it. The egg rolls were good, they're ground pork and veggies with the sauce and lettuce wrap option. Those were good and I ate them all. Been coming to this place for a few months now and I always get the filet minon pho. It is normally very good but just ordered it to go tonight and it was very disappointing! The broth was so thick and seemed to have a layer of grease on top. And just didn't taste good at all. Pretty disappointing considering I loved going to get pho here. Pork vermicelli Came to this place because it has good reviews. Highly disappointed and do not recommend. I was given burnt scraps. My wife just got home with our family of four's usual order from Pho Amor that we have watched grow from costing about $40, to $50, to $60 and now almost $70. In all of that time the portions rarely got smaller but enter tonight. Let me set the scene..... We wanted pho last week and went to a spot further south because Pho Amour was closed for vacation, cool they really deserve it. It was no where near Pho Amor (PA), good portion but the flavor was lacking so we waited until PA opened and headed over for our dependable meal (All-in Grilled Plate and Pho Tai with the meat rare). Both plates smelled good like we are used to so we tore open the bags and started our process to prep the soup for consumption. We use our own bowls because we know their provided materials never hold the entire contents of the meal (for the Pho Tai). We take the noodles and onions out and plop them into own bowl and WTF??? Did my Dr leave them a note that I am overweight? Is there a secret infants menu that I was not aware of and ordered from? The noodles were literally 1/3 of what they typically are.....dang, shrinkflation hit but super miniaturized the food. Steak looked similar in portion but probably had one less slice, or two for all I know. The bean spouts were not refrigerated and did not look fresh but hell, without them I really had nothing in my soup. No kidding, it looks like I had more onions in my bowl than noodles...not a good look PA, I see you! Then we open the All-in plates, I almost smacked everybody in the family for what we saw. There was a HUGE mound of steam rice and I mean HUGE. So big that the tablespoon each (yes we measured Pho AMOR) of the Beef and Pork and the two small shrimp were dwarfed by the rice and the contrast was stupidly noticeable. Then there was the egg roll that almost (and only because there was one and not two) looked like a chop stick placed in as if to say, we got your appetite covered. And the salad. I can say I have been going to Pho Amor for almost 6 years (since we've been out in the IE). I have been to several Pho places in between but always returned for what I knew would be a great meal. $70 for what I ordered was dumb, not worth it and just ran me off as customer for good. I understand supply and demand, rents, food price increases, modulating portion sizes but getting what equates to (size wise) a 4 piece chicken nugget happy meal and getting charged like a just had top of the line Tomahawk steak from a highly reputable steak house is ludicrous. This was not just the gouge of the century but an outright disgrace. Although.....if they upgrade the decor they may be on to something with the extremely small portions and outrageous prices. That is literally what "high end" restaurants do anyway. Sadly, they hit the tipping point (they were already on the edge) for pricing for portion and are losing a long standing customer due to craziness. read more
