Authentic Vietnamese dishes. Delicious with the Umame factor. I know I'm not the only person who knows this because if you come during peak hours (lunch time and dinner time) you'll be lucky to find a seat available.

Had a great meal today at this pho place. First time customer and it was definitely an above average place. I don't write a lot of reviews but I had to put it down as I will be coming back. they have a large menu and an excellent variety of food available. Service was also nice and friendly. Thank you Pho An Nam!

Pretty decent. Good go-to place to stop in for some standard pho. Pho could be better with more meat it in. I've also tried the viet coffee here. It's good :)

There was an ubereats promotion going on so I decided to order some food. This is my first time trying this Vietnamese place and their pho did not disappoint. There was a good portion of noodles and toppings. It also came with beanspouts and a slightly spicy and savoury sauce that I enjoyed. It's located across from Richmond centre. Convenient location to grab a bite after shopping!

Grilled pork, shredded pork skin, egg meat loaf, fried egg and broken rice - cơm tấm sườn bì chả
    Nhi T.

As a person growing up eating cơm tấm in its motherland, I am picky with what is in the plate, especially the fish sauce. Pho An Nam was the first and only place that I can find the closest taste for Sai Gon broken rice (cơm tấm Sài Gòn) so far. The rich flavor and juiciness of the grilled pork brighten up the whole dish. I chose spicy fish sauce to rizzle on the steamy hot broken rice then mixed it up with shredded pork skin and egg meat loaf. You can tell if it is truly cơm tấm Sài Gòn when the fried egg is crispy on the bottom. Having a spoon full of broken rice and a bit of everything I mentioned above is an explosion of flavor. Our family are long term customers at Pho An Nam. They not only are a place for my cơm sườn bì chả but give us a friendly neighbour feeling. We go there, warmly greeted by the staffs, have a little chit chat with them about work and family back home, get my favorite meal then go home with a full stomach and a big smile on our faces.

Tasty pho place in the middle of Richmond. Thanks to Pamela C. for showing me the light, um, pho. Parking is available in a dumpy lot behind the building. There aren't too many spaces, and the lot is shared with the restaurant next door. The inside is surprisingly modern, with wooden furniture and TVs. Everything felt relatively clean too. Staff were friendly. The pho here is pretty solid. Nice clear broth, and fresh meat. Onions and green bits on top. This really hit the spot for me. Lastly, in case one is wondering, meatless pho broth is still made with cows. So delicious. I will be back at some point. Recommended.

Okay, so here's the deal. I've been coming here for years now and they've constantly been great. They added new items in the menu and went vegetarian-friendly. I think this is a progressive addition to the menu. However, they raised their prices, quantity went down while the quality stayed the same. My bowl of pho barely had any noodles in it!!! My mom's bowl also had barely any noodles. I was really craving pho. It was such a let down. I might have to look at other pho places to go to now.

One of the most consistently delicious pho spots in Richmond. We eat a lot of pho and this place is a staple. The grilled options are also tasty as well as their deep fried calamari and chicken wings. If you're feeling like pho but want a slight twist, definitely try number 30 with the sate broth. It's slightly spicier and more rich due to the additions of chilies, coconut milk and peanuts. If you've never tired sate style pho you're missing out (and if you do end up trying it let me know what you think :) Side note: I posted a beautiful pic of my sate pho but got lost in transmission somehow. By the time I noticed I had already eaten the entire bowl - I'll post a pic on my next visit

This is actually my favourite Vietnamese restaurant so far. I'm tempted to give them 5 stars, but it's "not" a five star dining experience. I love their beef ball soup noodles. So delicious. And I find the price and portions are pretty darn good too. For $1 extra you can get yourself a large bowl of noodle. I absolutely love their Vietnamese ice coffee... Soooo good. However, I'm not a fan of their rainbow ice, but I think that's more of a personal preference thing. Anyways...their fried spring roll and lemon chicken grass rice needs some work. It's average at best. Note: combo 15 used to taste better

    shredded pork skin
 not shredded pork

For anyone who does not speak Vietnamese, or KNOW Vietnamese food: Shredded Pork Salad Roll is Shredded Pork SKIN Salad Roll. Don't expect meat. For me, it felt like tripe in my mouth, and I couldn't eat it. So I think they should add the word "skin" to the menu. I was ordering online. Other than that: the Pho was good. The fresh "Lemonade in Ice" was OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious!

The last couple of times we've come, the beef ribs were a bit smaller than they used to be, but they were awesome about making up for it. Last visit they threw in an extra rib, and today they gave us this massive extra bone loaded with tendon. I loved it. My wife was too shy to use her hands to eat it, so hey, bonus piece for me! Aside from the food, the service here is amazing. Everyone is super attentive and friendly. The vibe is really comforting to, it's way more spacious than your typical cramped pho restaurant. Parking is free during lunch, but you have to register your car if you're here after 6pm. It's cash or debit only.

As usual, I'm late to the party. I've heard about Phnom Penh…read moreand its famous chicken wings ever since I moved to Vancouver, nine-ish years ago. My fellow Yelpers raved about this place when I first moved here, and my kid came here with her school pals 5-6 years ago and also raved about the wings. It's been on my list to come here forever - and last night, finally, I did. It did not disappoint. My kid warned me, there'll probably be a line up waiting to get in (they don't take reservations here. I checked), so we decided to go at an off-time and get an early dinner, around 5pm on Friday. We walked there and, miracle of miracle, there was no line and we got seated right away. (Granted, we got the last vacant table in the place, and when we left after our meal, there already was a line of people waiting to get in). Food-wise...wow. I am NOT one for adventurous eating, so there were dishes on the menu I couldn't comfortably order (I wish I could, but hey, I'm better now than I used to be!). Still, there was lots for me to choose from. And first and foremost, I HAD to try the famous chicken wings. And I can honestly say, they were the best I've ever had: SO SO crunchy and crispy on the outside, and hot and moist on the inside. OMG so so so good. I can't speak highly enough of these! My kid ordered the butter beef. It was tasty and soft ("like butta!"), and the marinade was lovely, but personally, I couldn't get over the...rawness and redness of the meat and juice (which looked like blood to me). For fellow non-adventurous eaters out there, this might not be for you, despite how flavorful it tasted. It was just hard for me to get over how it looked. (I know I'm in a minority here. This dish is one of their most popular and asked-for dishes). We had the garlic dry spare ribs. I love spareribs. These were delicious but a tad too salty and greasy. I brought most of them home and had them today for lunch. I gotta say, they were so much better for me today: less salty, and I blotted off the excess grease. Delicious! My kid ordered a "small" sweet and sour soup with prawns, and wow, it came in a huge black cauldren. I can't imagine ordering a large size. Anyhow, this soup was a stand-out soup - especially for my kid who said she had dreams about it all night (lol)! So complex in flavors - spicy, sweet, savory, chock full of prawns and sprouts and lotus shoots and pineapple chunks and and other delicious stuff.... For me, it was a wee tad too spicy, but wow, even I thought, this is a special soup. So delicious and warming. 10/10. Our servers were prompt and impressively able to efficiently tend to a full house of diners. They got it all down to a science here. One issue of note: my kid had to use the washroom at one point and she left for a very extended period of time. I actually thought at one point that something had happened to her or she was ill, she was gone so long (VERY unlike her). When she returned, she told me it was "quite a hike", around the back of the restaurant and up a flight of stairs, too. I only make note of this in case anyone has mobility issues, know that the bathroom will be difficult (or impossible) for you to access.
