Pho and Boba is a great spot for foodies. There are so many things I need to try on their menu. I got the beef stew which was flavorful and really satisfying. I was able to get two hearty meals from their one portion. The beef was tenderized to perfection. They provide a hearty portion of rice to really make this stew stick to your bones There is a separate menu for their boba drinks that are not included in the main menu. I tried the brown sugar milk tea. The boba was cooked a bit al dente for my preference but was still good. The sweetness level was just a bit too sweet for my preference, if I ever try that one again I may have to do 50% sweetness. Make sure to grab some of their steamed buns this brought me back to my childhood. Their steamed bun is amazing. It has veggies, pork, Shanghai sausage, and a little quail egg inside. Since moving to this area, I had not visited a pho restaurant for a quite a while but I was really craving some one morning and stopped into Pho and Boba. The venue was very welcoming and I was greated by a large group of people who seemed to work or be officiates there, right off the bat I felt nice and already apart. The dining room is simplistic and clean which I always find to be nice. The pho dac biet that I got was proportioned very well with the mix of noodle, vegetables, tripe, meatballs etc... The actual pho was ok. Not horrible but not great, what really put me off though was the fact that I was eating pho with sriracha and jalapeños and only had one water, my mouth IS on fire, even the whole time I wrote this I still received no refill. My family comes here regularly and overall their food is good. However, there have been multiple instances where they served food where part of it was spoiled. One example was when I ordered the Banh Canh and it has pork blood. The pork blood smelled and had a sour taste, definitely was spoiled. In another visit, we were also served spoiled fish sauce for the rice dish. They need to improve on their food handling. There are so many options to choose from, but you definitely can't go wrong no matter what u pick. I came in with a large party and each dish that came out looked better and better. I myself got the bun rieu, which was so authentic and rich in flavor. I of course tried other sharing dishes as well, the canh chua was phenomenal and I also highly recommend the rice with porkchops! We had the spring rolls shrimp& pork which had a fresh pop to them and the pork skin, which was good too. Really good spot offering an array of Vietnamese cuisine. The iced coffee was really good! It's superior to any chain coffee shops' iced coffee. This was my first time visiting and I called in to order takeout. The man answering the phone was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu items. My family had a hard time choosing because so many dishes looked really good. I really appreciated the vegetarian options: Tofu spring rolls were good sized and came with a yummy peanut sauce Vegetable pho was delicious with a rich veggie broth, fried tofu cubes, and lots of veggies. Wow, I feel like eating at grandma's house! My experience dining at Pho and Boba, it reminded me of when I am visiting Orange County and stoping at Little Saigon to eat. We had the sweet and sour hot pot with fish soup, and the pork riblets. Out of the surprise, the owners/chefs in the back kitchen came out with the dishes and served it to us. That made it feel like my grandma would serve me food that she made out of love and passion. By ordering these dishes were out of our comfort zone. We usually get pho but this time we tried the new dishes. I was amazed at how the dishes tasted good on the flavors of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy. With tasting all those flavors, it's like a roller coaster flavor of excitement. The service is excellent, the restaurant is allowed for sitting. After two months of the state's lockdown, we were able to sit down inside a restaurant. I think that's why it was special because I got tired of ordering take-out or going through the drive-thru. There is something about enjoying food in a restaurant and talking about the taste of the dishes. Though I've been at this restaurant numerous times in the past, this experience with the bowl of pho with steak and meatballs, the noodles was a bit crunchy like they needed to be cooked more before being added to the soup. Wow! Full disclosure, I'm addicted to TikTok. I kept seeing these Vietnamese steamed noodles with pork inside. Bahn cuon, so I googled it near me, this was one of the few places that offered it on the menu that was open on this Tuesday afternoon.
