It's nearly impossible to try any other pho restaurant after coming to this place for the first time! Their pho is full of flavor and they're not stingy with the meat at all. I've tried other restaurants before and here, they give me at least 3x the amount of meat I get compared to other places. They're very quick to serve the food as well. Service is definitely at its best when its the owner who is serving us compared to other staff. He's very friendly and welcoming every time. However, there has been times where I've found myself waiting 10 minutes for extra lime and then realizing we weren't getting any until I had to ask again. New staff perhaps? When we asked for a menu the waitress just threw the menu at my pregnant wife. We just walked out. I've been eating here since they opened and it's as good as it was then. This is the OG pho of Everett, back in the 90s and early aughts we use to have to drive to Phoenix in Lynwood for pho, and that stuff was bad lol. I do wish they would bring back the complimentary cream puff. Those were so good! I like the pho ga the best but everything is good. Always get noodles uncooked if you do take out and boil at home, and don't blame the taste on the restaurant if you decide not to do this. Their menu isn't very big or fancy but the dishes they do offer are tasty. My go-to dish is their vermicelli with bbq beef and spring roll. I will say their picked veggies don't taste like they've been pickled for very long and the sauce for the vermicelli is a bit on the mild side as far as taste. Yes, we travel from Shoreline to visit these folks, my Mom and I have a particular affection for their chili oil/pepper hot sauce. They serve decent size portions, and the service is friendly and quick. They have two non-beef options for Pho, which is nice to see, I've eaten the chicken Pho, not bad, plenty of meat and the broth is very tasty. Their veggie Pho is packed with vegetables, granted they seem to be from a frozen mix, but the broth is full of flavor, but no, I haven't actually asked if it's "veggie" broth, LOL.... Bun and rice dishes are a great choice, my Dad asks for the egg roll and pork over rice instead of the noodles, and while that's not on the menu they always are willing to prepare his dish on request. Fresh spring rolls are made to order, which is nice, compared to others who make them ahead of time and put them in the refer, no yucky dried out rolls here!! I see a review from 2010 that states "cash only" that hasn't been the case since we started coming here back in 2011?? So this is the first place that I ever tried Pho about 12-13 years ago. I loved it immediately and started eating at this restaurant two or three times a week. My family loved it as well and it's still one of my kid's favorite foods and they literally grew up on it. Sadly for these guys, they one day decided to dump their extra large size just out of he blue. That was my go to. When I asked them why and they had no good answer, I walked out the door and went a block down the street to the Than Bros. Their Pho was also great, came in an XL size and was served with a cream puff. We never looked back. Since that day, we've spent probably thousands of dollars eating at Than Bros. We've taken many groups of friends there and have eaten an average of once a week in their restaurant. Their product is nearly the same as the Pho Asia Noodle House and the price was about the same as well. Because they decided to just randomly dump the portion size we liked, they lost years of our business. On this day, I needed to feed a sick kid who was craving her favorite comfort food and we were in a hurry so we decided to give this another shot in case they had repented of their poor decision. They hadn't and now charge as much for their large size as Than Bros charges for their XL. The food was fine but we won't be back when we can just hit their neighbor down the street. Fast service, CASH ONLY, pho is above average. Reasons for good pho include tasty broth, fresh round eye beef slices (thit tai). A few items that would make it even better is that they make the temperature of the pho hotter. Although this makes the beef slices cook slower (a good thing as I like a very slight pink), it detracts from a "hot steaming" bowl of pho and the meatball does not get to its own ideal temperature in its center. I also ordered the three bean pudding (che ba mau) and liked that they actually used green jelly but the overall taste was not at all exciting to me. I will pass on that next time. If it's not an Asian buffet, it's pho for our family meals. 17 of us came to Pho Asia Noodle House on a Monday at noon before a day of touring the Emerald City. Our group consisted of 16 Asians and one token white guy which was my brother in law, and ranging in ages from 2-80. All 17 of us left happy. Without reservation, we expected a long wait in the restaurant that was filled to capacity. We waited less than 5 minutes for the two separate tables for our party and we walked out 45 minutes later in the heart of the lunch rush. The menus can be seen through the glass topped tables. Along with the classic pho selections, you'll find vermicelli noodle dishes, rice dishes, and a complete list of Vietnamese beverages. I ordered a medium number 2, rare eye-round steak and brisket. There were plenty of noodles and plenty of beef in my soup, a solid bowl to warm up for the cold day ahead. Although the food wasn't particularly elevated compared to other places I've been, the service was top notch. It takes great efficiency from team members to get a party our size in and out in less than an hour. Our server was pleasant, was helpful with a spill, and delivered the entire order without mistake. We also got a visit from the manager who checked on us and also wished us happy holidays. I flipped the bill and seeing $130 for 17, I knew it was a bargain. No AMEX here by the way. This is an outstanding Vietnamese restaurant. It is a pleasure to write a great review for these owners. The restaurant seats maybe 60 people and is very busy at lunch time (the time I usually eat there). Many of the patrons are Asian although they have a broad ethnic mix and a significant Caucasian mix. This speaks well of the food quality for this restaurant. The soup (broth) is excellent, as good as I have ever eaten. Really Enjoyable. There are 15 pho soup options plus plenty of other non-soup options. If I have a choice, I will eat at this restaurant every time for PHO soup. I eat there at least once per week, often more. I constantly bring friends to the restaurant and my daughters as well.
