This is a hard place to review. First off, probably the best pho broth and meat I've had in Seattle, I'm from the SF Bay area so I've been to my share of pho joints, and this place compares well, unlike some other places we've been in the greater Seattle area. The amount of food feels low though. A large is closer to a medium elsewhere. Extras are super expensive. $5 for a glass of limeade? $3.50 for a can of coke? $2 for... extra... onions?!? The quantity issues could probably be solved if addons were cheap but they are pretty expensive, so it's hard to feel like you're completely satisfied at this place if you want a larger bowl of soup. The restaurant uses a full set of mirror walls which I personally hate, it's like eating in a gym. Service was quick and nice. We actually got our food nearly instantly, which was surprising and appreciated. The veg (the plate of thai basil, mung beans, lime etc) was also a lot smaller than other places, which could be an issue if you really like using a lot of veg from that plate. The quality of the veg was fairly high, but not A+. The best veg I've had so far at a pho place is probably family pho in Snohomish. The place also gets hot and stuffy and doesn't seem to have A/C so I would mostly suggest you go elsewhere if it's warm. Pros: - a very good bowl of pho with decent to good veggies, which is by far the most important part of the meal. Broth was in high need of salt, so don't forget to add some if you think the broth lacks flavor! - quick service, not super friendly but that is to be somewhat expected at pho. When I asked to take home my remaining broth, they just gave me a to go container. That is pretty dangerous honestly, haha. I'm good at pouring the soup from the bowl to the to-go container but most people would just spill it everywhere, so it's surprising they didn't offer to pour it themselves. Not a downside, but worth noting if you think you may want to bring some of your broth home. Cons: - even the large size bowl is more like a medium or small, with far less noodles than other places. This might be a pro for you if you are low carb, but you may not be full after eating here if you have a big appetite. - everything that is not a bowl of pho is very expensive, from extra veggies to extra meat, and extremely expensive drinks for what they are ($3.50 for a can of soda or $2 for them to add some extra onions). - Gets hot with no A/C. Patrons dabbing their faces on a hot day to wipe off sweat. This is probably my biggest con because a big part of what makes pho amazing is the contrast between heat and cold. By overloading patrons with a hot soup AND a hot restaurant, it is less enjoyable. Summary: One of the best bowls of pho in the area. Not many noodles in the bowl, which is good unless you are really hungry. Main downsides: restaurant is covered in mirrors. It doesn't have A/C. Be very careful of ordering extras- additional meat/veg and drinks are extremely expensive here!! If you are ok with fewer noodles and don't need extras, and lack of A/C doesn't matter on whatever day you're going there, this is easily a 4 star+ establishment. However if you need any of those things, it's more like a 3.5 star. Cheers. read more

My family and I have been coming here for years and I just want to say first and foremost that this restaurant has the best Pho and Vietnamese dishes probably in all of Washington. We choose this place over any other Pho restaurant, even though there are many too choose from in the area and we have never lived closed to their location. That being said, I just want to mention in the most constructive way possible that the atmosphere of Pho Asia Noodle House has gone down drastically in the past few years, this prices have also increased so much that it's almost $100 for 3 people to eat (3 bowls of pho, 2 small sides and 3 drinks). The employees and owners are very nice people and have never been rude or unpleasant to us in any way...but it's the atmosphere they provide around their guests that has gone downhill. For example, they seem to be doing the loudest and most disruptive tasks during the day around everyone in the dining room who have paid money to dine in the restaurant. (Cleaning the fish tank, cleaning the air vents, using an electric vacuum or extremely noisy hand vacuum right next to the table when your eating your food, organizing utensils on the far back table EXTREMELY loud, I'm talking about slamming them down in the bin to organize them as fast as possible) also they keep the dirty bus bin close to tables while you're eating which seems unsanitary. This isn't a regular occurrence or even something that happens each time we visit, but over the course of 10+ years of eating at this restaurant, it may benefit the staff to take note of these things if they want customers to return to enjoy their food and space. read more

This place draws large numbers of diners for its inexpensive selection of pho, vermicelli dishes, and appetizers. Staff is very nice. When there was a mix up with how much I was charged, it was taken care of with a friendly smile, apologies, and grace--which is more than I can say for other businesses. 5-star service. I ordered the chả giò and phở tai to go. Even though they said it would be 15 minutes, my order was done in half that. The chả giò was longer and skinnier than others I've had. It seemed to be missing something...maybe a little more salt? The phở tai comes in three sizes. I purchased a medium and it was enough to feed two people. If you don't want to waste or save some for later, order the small. If you are super hungry, order the medium or large. The large is much more suited to two people that just one person. Again, I felt like something was missing from the broth. It could have been salt, although I didn't add any to find out. More likely, it was that it hadn't cooked long enough to acquire all of the flavor from the ingredients. One thing I liked was the generous bean sprouts and additions that come with the pho--some restaurants skimp but Pho Asia did not. Also, the thinly sliced meat was perfect. I have to say, nobody beats Pho Hung's flavor (Evergreen Way), so they will continue to be my go-to. Pho Asia is a great alternative for good cheap eats when you're on the run and need inexpensive food (in large portions) fast. I will return and try some of their noodle dishes as well. It is overall a good place for some local pho but we have had a couple of experiences like cold egg rolls or less than hot broth that have kept us away a few months at a time. Hands down the best Pho restaurant in the area! My husband and I visited today for early dinner around 5pm and boooyyy im glad we did. We were immediately greeted by the staffs and we were seated immediately. We ordered 2 pho, spring rolls, and the egg rolls. All of our dishes came out super quickly and also delicious. The broth was rich and clean and the noodles were cooked nearly perfect. Super meaty too, never had this much meat in my pho before and my husband agrees. Mirrored walls, huge glass aquarium at the front and chandeliers bring a lot of light into the room and give the illusion it's bigger than it is. I used to frequent this restaurant a lot and they were amazing, but the last few times, the service has been atrocious and the food just meh. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back though and we will never return here. First let me start by saying, I don't ever feel like my business is appreciated here. We're always being rushed and there is never a thank you or kind word said when we're seated, order, or pay. It was the same today and I was already annoyed at the service but then the people next to me got up to pay and it all went downhill. It was 2 women with a small child.. the child had made a mess but it wasn't that bad honestly. Once the employees cleaned the area it took them MAYBE 3 minutes to get it all done. However as they were paying, an employee humiliated them in front of the entire restaurant for the "mess" the child had left. He literally yelled at them that they were not welcome back and didn't want her tip or her business when she tried to explain she didn't mean to offend anyone and would leave a larger tip if that would make up for the way they felt. I get not enjoying children or their messes but scolding a grown woman in front of an entire restaurant that was packed is absolutely unacceptable. Just for funsies I will also mention that the waitress got impatient with me when I wasn't ready to order literally the minute I sat down, never came back to ask me if I needed anything, actually tossed my check on my table, didn't speak to me when I paid my check and then had the audacity to comment on my 15% tip like it wasn't enough. read more

Wanted pho on a dreary and cold rainy day and based on the reviews we gave it a try. Parking can be tight during lunch hours. Restaurant was very clean inside. We were greeted right away. Our drinks were ordered and delivered. Our meals came very fast. The broth seems like it genuine bone broth but seemed watered down. I grew up eating pho and I'm trying not to be bias, but I know water down pho when I taste it.
