First time since the new ownership and introduction of pho to the menu. Had the regular size bowl of eye of round, sirloin tendon and meatball pho and a Korean pork sandwich. The pho was light and refreshing. The broth could have been a bit more seasoned for my taste but nothing a little salt and pepper didn't fix. Noodles were spot on, meat was tender and flavorful. Complimentary plate of standard veggies came with the pho to include bean sprouts, mint leaves, sliced jalepeño and lime wedges. The sandwich was phenomenal. The pork was perfectly cooked and seasoned with that nice char broil flavor. The vegetables crisp and fresh and bathed in a delicious fish sauce. The roll was crispy on the outside,soft inside and a perfect carrier for the yummies onboard. Atmosphere is casual, place was clean, neat and service was very good. Washed it down with a Thai tea w/ boba which was also very tasty and refreshing. Looking forward to go back and sample more of their menu. Oh and cost was not bad. Two sandwiches, two regular bowls of pho (I can't imagine eating the large bowl in one sitting...I didn't finish all the broth in my regular bowl), the Thai tea and an iced tea for $33. read more

Started at a 5, down to a 4, now I'm dropping to 2. Why? I ordered the Bun Thit Nuong today (rice noodles with grilled pork). While it wasn't *bad*, if I closed my eyes, I would've thought I was having spaghetti and meat, like say, Italian-style spaghetti. Very strange. Everything was fresh, but not very authentic. I noticed the usual older ladies weren't there today, and instead it was filled with high-school looking staff. They were polite and all, but I wonder if the quality suffers when the boss is gone. The service here was really good, everyone just seemed so friendly. I went there with my friend and we ordered pho combination, pork/shrimp spring rolls and bun thit nuong ( grilled pork vermicelli dish). The food on the other hand was just okay. I don't know if we went on a bad day or something but the broth for the pho just didn't taste right. I felt like it was missing something. The bun thit nuong wasn't bad but definitely not the best. I can't say enough good things about this little restaurant. It's a family establishment and it's customers are treated like family. The food is so amazing! I routinely have to make amendments to asian dishes due to allergies and, after about my second visit, they remembered this and automatically asked about it. When I walked in I was greeted by a very nice and polite young girl. The workers were really friendly and service was quick. Also, the restaurant was clean and a bit more modern looking than other places around the area. I ordered pho and loved it! The ingredients were fresh, and the flavor was perfect. The Pho here is delicious and very quick to be served! I highly recommend the P1 House Specialty Pho. The large is a lot to eat, but really good! I also had the crab rangoons, and some friends had the spring rolls and egg rolls and they enjoyed them. My boss had the avocado smoothie and liked it quite a lot. I was in and out for lunch in 15 minutes flat today! My favorite dish here is the deep fried spicy garlic chicken. They use quality ingredients; no "mystery meat" served here. This is actually a legitimately good pho restaurant in Wichita. I have been to nearly every Vietnamese place in town, and unfortunately the bar is set very low in Wichita for pho. In general OKC and Dallas area have MUCH better pho. I have taken ICT friends to OKC to my favorite pho place and they are usually blown away at how much better it is than everything in Wichita. My Vietnamese bf and I decided randomly to go to Pho Chopstix when we were on our way to a movie at the IMAX. We have now decided Pho Chopstix is possibly our favorite in Wichita. The Vietnamese sandwich they have is the best in Wichita. MUCH better than My Tho for both the pho and the banh mi. The service is great as well and they treat you like family there. They get to know. the first time my boyfriend and I went, we chatted with the cute and sassy daughter of the owners throughout the meal. The West side has needed a nice easy in easy out Asian take out place and it finally has one. Pho Chopstix has a large menu of traditional Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. I am a big fan of Vietnamese charbroiled pork on vermicelli noodles with fish sauce "Bun" and the dish was made just the way I like it. The restaurant has a large selection of pre-made items in the display case and you can order your favorite items dished up as you order, or you can order off the menu. The Bum had to be made fresh and only took a few moments to arrive at my table. The prices were comparable to what you would expect to pay in town. There is dine in seating or take out orders. I love Pho but live on the west side and until recently I had no choice but to drive a ways to get some delicious hot Pho soup. But I ran across this place several months ago. The used to be owned by different people and were just called "Chopstix" but now are under new care and renamed and they really bring their A-Game. I have eaten here about a dozen times and had several items. I love Vietnamese food and their Pho is outstanding. I get the large and always have some leftovers. Their mint and cilantro are always fresh and the meat choices are fantastic. They make a good Banh Mi and Korean BBQ are good too. I also like that they take the time to get to know you. They know who I am now and greet me as such. And if you are getting it to go, they still sit you down with a nice ice water and make you feel at home while you wait. This is my go to place for Pho! I try to eat here at least once a week and have never had a bad experience. The wait staff are always very polite and work together to make sure your drinks always stay full. I have eaten a lot of Pho in various locations in Wichita and I always come back here for the tasty broth. We have had various other menu items including the Orange Chicken and Generals Chicken and everything has been nicely flavored with large portions. This was my first time here and the shrimp pho was very good! The thing I like about this place over others is that they remove the tail off the shrimp before they put it in the pho. It makes it a lot easier to eat when you're hungry! I didn't like their crab Rangoon or their chicken wings. The Rangoon has a lot of garlic, peppers and onions and I eat crab Rangoon everywhere I go & this was THE first time I couldn't eat it. Hands down my favorite Vietnamese place in Wichita. Really good Pho, excellent Banh Mi and the hot wings are the best, non-traditional wings I've had. Their Chinese menu has good variety and is always freshly prepared. The service at Pho Chopstix is courteous and welcoming. I've never had a "bad" experience with either the food or the service. Even when they are busy (which happens regularly now) the food arrives quickly. One note of caution: if you order a variety of menu items, expect them to come out in order of how long they take to prepare, not by category (i.e. wings take longer than main dishes so the main dish usually arrives first). The owner/chef is great and when he can find the time, enjoys coming out to chat with the patrons. A really nice touch! read more

My girlfriend and I decided to try this place out a while ago. We arrived but saw that the lights were off an nobody was inside (even though the restaurant was open at that date and time) so we decided to go across the street to emperors. While we got out of the car to head into emperors we noticed and employee or manager dash back and turn the lights on. Since falling in love with pho, I've always been on the look out for my next go to place. I think I've found it! My husband had cashew chicken & it was loaded with cashews. It really was perfect from the amount of nuts to chicken to sauce & even portion size. I had the pho (pork) & the small size is easily two meals. The broth was clear & noodles perfectly cooked. The vegi plate of toppings were very fresh. We also ordered crab Rangoon & Vietnamese egg rolls (twice). The crab Rangoon are stuffed FULL of amazing cream cheese goodness. The Vietnamese egg rolls are sooooooo delicious we had to order seconds! They were perfectly crisp & filled yummy goodness. The service was personal & attentive. Food tastes great, service is nice as well, they seem very friendly. Only downside i had about it is that they give you small amounts of steamed rice to go with any meat dish which usually comes with a lot of meat.
