Not your usual pho place. It's modern and beautiful inside. We ordered fresh shrimp salad rolls and egg rolls as appetizers. The peanut sauce came cold(menu said hot), and the egg rolls weren't really good. Would not order them next time. We had the rare beef and brisket pho and that was good. A review from a Vietnamese person Growing up as an immigrant from Viet Nam, I was very fortunate to have my family's cooking as the baseline for what good southern Viet cuisine tasted like. So on my travels across the US I have made it a personal mission to try all the local Viet restaurants. 1- To support local businesses and 2- to see how our cuisine has evolved in the US. So I saw Pho Claire and decided I had to try! Unlike most of the Viet restaurants I've been to, which are usually mom and pop- Smaller, down home feel, Pho Claire has a very modern, bright, commercial vibe, which feels very refreshing! Clean and spacious. I ordered the phở đặc biệt, the cơm chiên đặc biệt, and cà phê sữa đá. Let's talk about phở: the phở looked good when it came out - it had all the different meats that I would want in a "special pho" ie tripe, tendon, brisket, etc. Phở broth is supposed to be a clear broth so when it came out looking nice and clear, I had very high hopes. As any phở lover knows, the broth is the key to the dish. The broth here tastes a bit flat - without the depth of flavor that I've come to enjoy in pho, which can only be achieved through days of cooking the Mother Broth. So, it's not the worst pho I've had - I've had it in a mall kiosk - but am I going to tell my bà nội to come here? Probably not. Now let's talk about the fried rice... imma keep it short. It was nothing special, under-seasoned, and not as "deluxe" as I would hope. Usually the deluxe has everything but the kitchen sink, but this only had pork and shrimp. A side note on pricing: every dish seemed $1.50 more expensive than it should have been, but I'm not familiar with the cost of living in Myrtle Beach, so this is just my observation as a visitor. I was impressed that they had hủ tiếu and other less common Viet dishes, so thumbs up for that! And the cà phê sữa đá was good! All in all, I say support local businesses and try ALL the Vietnamese restaurants in Myrtle Beach. read more

We have the large pho and was really disappointed because it's only have beef brisket in there. There was no bean spouts and herb that comes with it but white onion on the side. Definitely not worth 17.99. The Thai tea was not as good too. But the service was good tho. Everything cost us close to $300. Not a authentic Thai pho place since they didn't have everything on the pho. Pretty pricey too. read more

Service was very poor. After we got our food, our server (Kimberly) didn't bother to check on us. We ordered pho but didn't get enough utensils (received two chopsticks and two forks for 4 customers - not everyone uses chopsticks), garnishes for pho, water refills, etc. She only came back with the check which you had to download an app and make an account to pay. This is unnecessary and extra work in my opinion. I did not leave a tip. As we left, she followed my family outside asking if I had paid. I showed her my payment history in the app. She said "oh, I didn't see a tip." I do not believe everyone deserves a tip, especially if they did not do their job well. Edited to add: there was a very sweet waitress who welcomed us initially. She offered to bring out our diaper bag, which we accidentally left. She apologized to us which I appreciate. read more

I love Pho Claire. The amazing bowls of noodle soups, pho, udon, etc. Filled with wonderful broth, noodles, and fresh vegetables and meats of your choice. They have amazing signature teas and smoothies. The best part is its very healthy food and drinks. No alcohol served here which is usually a turnoff for me but not here. Our entire dining experience was outstanding. The atmosphere is so conducive to relaxation. The service was excellent and our waitress was so accommodating. Even the manager Anthony stopped by to make sure everything was OK with us and it certainly was. Of course the best part was the food. My wife is originally from China and we travel to Vietnam and Thailand so we know Asian food very well. This is authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Everything was so fresh and delicious. We had the Brisket Pho, The Vietnamese sandwich and even the Mango bubble tea all exceeded our expectations. We will return with our friends. I highly recommend this place. The noodle bowls were outstanding and my husband loved the rare beef pho. The pho broth smelled delicious. The veggies in the pho, noodle bowls and bahn mi were all fresh and crispy. So now they're having socially distanced in restaurant dining and it was great. Our server, Karla, was really helpful with all of my many questions and she made great suggestions. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and welcoming. The service, for the class of restaurant, in my opinion, could not be better. They were attentive and yet did not hover. The manager even stopped by to check on us. I really love this kind of food. I had the shrimp pho with a side of rare beef. The broth was sublime, deep, complex and comforting. The fresh vegetables and condiments that they serve alongside just put everything over the top. My dining partner had the deluxe vermicelli. We both really enjoyed the food. What started line a wonderful meal went downhill fast once we had the main course. We started off with egg rolls accompanied with Vietnamese vinaigrette. The egg rolls were the best I had in a long time. Freshly made, nice and flaky. The vinaigrette was great, much better than the plum sauce you usually get with egg rolls. As for beverage, we opted to share a berry smoothie. It was fantastic! Not too sweet like restaurant type smoothie. Freshly made as well. Now the entrée: we both ordered the noodle bowl with " grilled chicken ". The chicken looked and tasted like it had been grilled a week ago, kept in the fridge and reheated. Also, there was too much noodle in the bowl. A lot of noodles, starchy and stuck together. I would say 90% of the bowl was noodles and on top of it sat the faux grilled chicken and vegetables. What a disappointment. We ça will not be back. Update after owner's response: 1. A single serving of pasta is 2 oz. of cooked pasta. So that was too much pasta. Too much filler and not enough healthy ingredients. 2. Regardless of the chicken being dark or white, it was not freshly grilled as shown on the photos. That is false advertisement. First time here. Have been wanting to try them since they opened. The space is huge and very loud and it was not even partially full. Started with some egg rolls. They were rather expensive considering their size. They were small and cut in half. Not very tasty as well. Ordered Pho Ga. A usual portion of Pho which was nice. It was rather bland and the chicken was really dry. Even after being in the broth. Overall ok. May tray again. read more

I love pho, and had to get some while on vacation in Myrtle beach. This restaurant was good but it wasn't the best I've ever had. The spring rolls were a little chewy and bland but still tasted okay. I also got the pho deluxe as my main meal. It was loaded up which I loved and it definitely filled me up, however the broth was a little bit bland. Great Pho! The broth is more on the sweet side but still very delicious. The facilities is nice and clean and there is ample spacing for Covid. There were notices to be patient as they were understaffed, but we didn't find that to be an issue. Highly recommend this restaurant and will come back on our next visit to Myrtle Beach. read more

Came in early afternoon for lunch. Place looks great and very clean. Tons of staff so I figure they must get busy. Host was very nice and staff seemed pleasant. We were seated and a look around the room was only 3 tables full so we didn't expect to have issues with waiting....... Then we waited and waited but no one came over. Made eye contact with every single staff member at least 3 times (Busboy, host, server and hell even the cooks) and tried to flag one down only to get no where. Waited about 20 min with no one coming over to even take our drink order. So we decided to leave. Hey we all get busy or sidetracked and things happen, no problem we are all human. Told the host to have a nice day and the waitress decided to utter something on the way out. That's the ONLY acknowledgment I got from her while there. Doubt we ever go back and that sucks cause the menu looked decent. But your service is garbage and I'm not going to take some teenagers attitude for not doing her job. read more

The service was super fast with food brought still piping hot. My two issues I had was I ordered the chicken pho and was brought in a beef broth as opposed to traditionally a chicken broth. The waitress told me I was wrong and that's how it's served and I showed her that that was not correct for chicken, shrimp etc. She walked away as I was speaking so that was fairly rude with not but a few customers. Then the line staff proceeded to speak of me in Spanish as if I didn't understand what they were saying less than 15 feet from me. The place was clean and unique. This is really a review of two visits... first visit was last Saturday for lunch. The restaurant was very busy, but service was good and food was excellent. Beautiful, modern restaurant, BTW. The next visit was for dinner. Two very large tables were full and a few small tables. Food was trickling out in a slow manner. Our table of three got one meal after a moderate wait. 20 minutes later the other two meals still hadn't arrived. Same situation across the restaurant... a meal served here and there, making for awkward situations where meals sat getting cold or patrons went against decorum and sat and ate while their companions went without. The waiter said they were struggling in the kitchen and we left. Hopefully they'll get things straightened out. So much potential, but off to a rocky start. read more

Pho is really good and authentic. The both is rich and the meat is fresh and tender. We also ordered egg rolls basket which we really like, the minced pork with taro filling is just right ratio, the roll just come out of the fryer so hot and juicy. This is a great spot! The food was very fresh in all ways. They were out of the meatball skewers, which I'm told is a popular item so if they're available when you go, try them for me. Since that was not available we tried the philly egg rolls which were pretty good and it came out piping hot. I got the Wonton noodle bowl (broth on the side) which was very filling and I had leftovers. I did need an extra bowl of broth but it was only $2.99. I also got the Taro Bubble tea which was yummy! It tasted like cereal milk, lol. Hubby got the curry chicken stir fry and a side of pork chop. The curry was super spicy but delicious! I didn't care for the flavor of the pork chop but it was cooked well. The atmosphere was bright and very inviting. This place has the worst customer service Ive ever experienced this so called manager was on a power trip and refused to do a To go order! I said I would wait for the order and she replied very rudely "I'm just not doing it" even though they are open until 9pm she is refusing business from a paying customer!
