I've gone to Myrtle Beach for a long time and this is the first place I can say have decent pho! Finally decent pho at the beach! This place is also in a nice clean building and makes you feel welcome. The service was also great. We tried the pho, spring rolls, summer rolls, bahn mi and strawberry bubble tea. The pho was flavorful and we also enjoyed the spring roll and summer rolls. I didn't care too much for the bahn mi, it was more American style like the one they serve at Whole Foods. (Must be the bread) I also was not a fan of the bubble tea, it taste like a milkshake with bobba. Otherwise, we plan to back again for pho the next time we're at the beach! read more

We had never had Vietnamese food before. We wanted to try something new and man am I glad we did! We were greeted by a friendly host and seated immediately. Our server, Tammy, came over and introduced herself and welcomed us. She asked if we had eaten here before and we let her know this was a completely new experience for us. Tammy graciously offered her suggestions and told us about the menu, which was helpful since one person in our party is a vegetarian. We ordered the summer rolls - one with chicken and one vegetarian order. My goodness, it was a light and FRESH roll of deliciousness! Highly recommend. We ordered a Pho beef brisket, Pho chicken and a vegetarian noodle bowl. The flavor in the beef stock in the pho was incredible with deep flavor. Every bite I took was different. The serving size was ginormous and never ending. I added Sriracha which is part of the table setting. I cannot say Enough about our new experience and the level of flavor, fresh vegetables, sauces that we had. We really enjoyed it and will be back! Thank you Tammy and team! Being Vietnamese I've eaten plenty of pho and I've gotta say that their pho is really good. I got the pho deluxe, as did a couple of my family member and we were all really happy with the flavor of the broth and amount of meat they served with it. Overall the food was phenomenal, but to me the service is half the experience. Once we got out of the car a couple of workers were staring at us as we walked in making it slightly uncomfortable. Once seated we had a white server, but tried to order the dishes using their Vietnamese names and once we noticed she didn't know the names we switched to just saying the numbers. It wasn't a big deal until she started talking to one half of the family in perfectly fine English and then spoke with broken and sadly offensive English to the other half who attempted to use viet. She constantly was reaching over people (while we were eating) to fill waters, which we got after asking twice. Usually it'd be understandable if it was busy but it was only our party and two other tables who had already had their food. Other workers came to bring us our food and they were very pleasant and were happy to get us more limes and straws. Just amazing food and poor customer service. I recently moved from an area that had a very diverse selection of cuisines, and was somewhat upset that I couldn't find certain things that I really enjoy eating. Luckily, I found Pho Claire and I am beyond ecstatic about this place. The aesthetic of the restaurant itself is very clean, bright, and inviting. The staff and my experience was top notch. I ordered shrimp and pork summer rolls to start and the Pho Deluxe (which has beef, meatball, beef tendons and tripe.) The pho was AMAZING. The ingredients were all fresh, rich in flavor, and super light. I will definitely be coming back as soon as possible. This place has potential and was recommended to me. I come from a Vietnamese area in California snd VA, so it's hard to really compete. Hey we're out of most things when I came, so I was a bit disappointed. However, I can tell it's the best Vietnamese food you can get around they area (if there even any other options). They were out of deluxe fried rice (isn't it weird to be out of Reid rice anywhere?) and someone had told me it was the best fried rice he had ever had in his life. Normally you wouldn't order fried rice at a Pho restaurant, but it was recommended by a foodie. Also, they were out of beef broth and only had chicken broth for pho. That's a bit embarrassing for a pho restaurant, but it happens. Lastly, the mi hoanh thanh (wonton noodle soup) was what I ordered and really good. The only strange thing is that they have celery in it and also the wontons were fried ones, which I have never encountered I. This dish before. Overall, we should support this place, but the authenticity of the food is a bit off compared to places I've been to. Place is also very clean, /0-,sous and bright! My boyfriend got seated as I went to the restroom... once I got back to table we sat and watched 7-10 employees stand around while what looked to be the busser cleaned tables and one server did all the work. We were told they are made ahead of time. Tons of staff but very disorganized. Many people were waiting a long time for food or order hadn't been taken. One man finally got up to get someone to come to the table. Bus people did very well by keeping Drinks constantly refilled and assured food was coming. Food is really slow!!! The place was very nice and open inside. It was very loud in here with a huge party that sat. Ordered a few things everything was decent. They did over cook the my egg on my grill chicken com. The manager did come over and I asked if I could have one sunny side up. It came out and was good. Just shocked that I was up charged $1.00 for the sunny side up egg when I didn't eat the other one. I guess if you try it ask your server how they cook it first. I also had the pork Bahn mi it seemed a bit small for what you pay for. There were parts of the sandwich where the pork was cold but the other half of the sandwich was hot. The chicken pho was good just watch out for those jalapeños they will get ya! Other than that our server was good she seemed overwhelmed with the party that was there but still did a good job. Would I try this place again I definitely would. I had actually never had Pho before, but my fiancé suggested we try this place. It was 10/10! We've gone back over a dozen times now in the past few months. Their Beef Rare Pho is out of this world with freshness. My only critique would be to see if they can add some oil or something to the noodles so they don't come as a big clump when I order them on Doordash. For a place with pho in its name, I was expecting something amazing. Amazing it was not. The broth was just ok. The powder pho packets tastes better. I got the extra large bowl to share with my 3 year old and he was able to eat most of the noodles by himself so there wasn't that much. Not worth $15. The bean sprouts were going brown. There was no fish sauce. The only reason I gave this review 3 stars is because the vermicelli bowl was super yummy and the sauce for the summer rolls was very tasty. From out of town on vacation and saw this spot while getting groceries at the Food Lion. Had to get over and try it before we left. The inside is bright and very clean and everyone is really friendly!! I ordered the Pho Deluxe with Rare Beef, Meat Ball, Beef Tripe, Beef Tendon and Beef Brisket. It came with the normal plate of Like, Bean Sprouts, Basil and Jalapeños on the side. The Pho Broth was really delicious and the Pho overall was very good!! I also had the Vietnamese Coffee over Ice which tasted great and was refreshing!! If you have time for lunch or dinner, I would highly recommend Phó Claire for a great bowl of Pho!! We had a wonderful experience here. The food was fabulous as was the service. I was thrilled to see they had shrimp chips--a dish I remember growing up with but rarely find them. We had a great experience, I have seen some reviews about the service, either we got lucky or they are getting better. Mackenzie was our server, she did a great job. She offered some suggestions that my wife tried and they were spot on! The bubble tea was very good! We have to been to a couple other Vietnamese places in town and honestly this one is the best so far! Our 20 month old son started to get restless during dinner, so Mackenzie brought our bill right away and helped us with the to go boxes. Myrtle Beach, the land of fun and games, where everything is double dollar signs on YELP, and you're expecting to flush down a few hundred dollars for a few nights of fun. Everything is optimistic and everything should be tasty and treats all around, nay? You'd never expect to be juked since everyone believes higher cost meant better taste. I was feeling cuisine I was familiar with, and so I looked for a Vietnamese restaurant for my family and me to dine. Lo and behold, there was a place that seemingly had delicious reviews and magnificent aesthetics to take my parents. And as I drove up, I saw the touch of modern and contemporary styles that many nice restaurants try to embellish. I had to use the restroom and even the restroom was inviting. The waiters and waitresses worked together providing a very homely feel. The atmosphere? Check. The mood? Check. The food? Well... I had heard that their traditional Vietnamese pho was delicious, but since I've had that way too often, I decided to try something else. I thought that since the pho seemed to be so high in the appraisal, their other food might be hidden gems, right? So my family decided to order an order of the spring rolls, egg rolls, 3 Banh Canh (udon noodles) Hu Tieu Kho (dry noodles) and Com Xuon (Grilled meat with rice). The egg rolls never came, though we weren't really concerned about it. The food all came out at different times, and so by the time my bowl of Banh Canh came, my dad had already finished his food. All the issues with service wasn't really an issue with us, as we understand the difficulty of running a punctual restaurant, however, the main issue is when it came to the food. This is where disappointment sets in. Disappointment that is worse than when your kid decides to go to comedy school. The grilled pork seems to have been under marinated and was undercooked. There was as much flavour in the meat as you would taste from canned meat. The pork it came from must have been sent to heaven as whatever god you believe in must have felt sorry for it. The dry noodles were in fact, dry. By dry, I mean it has the texture of gum that has already been chewed for about 40 minutes. Undercooked and again, barely seasoned. The noodles itself had this very distinct bitter taste that I have never tasted in any regular Vietnamese cuisine and made my palate squirms and shiver. The pork in the noodles had some moisture that tasted as though it was made and cooked days ago and was recently microwaved. There was no juiciness or anything that made pork taste good in the met itself. There was no justice to that pig. The soup that they brought out to the table though, was a light heartwarming broth that tastes like MSG in saltwater. My heart simply fluttered when I learned that the same broth they gave to my poor mother was used in the very same bowl of udon noodles I had ordered. Instead of getting excited to see what was good about the restaurant, I had turned a 180 and was excited to see what else they had to ruin my appetite. Surely, the seawater broth with MSG in my overcooked udon with the same pork they had from my mom's noodles had made it the trifecta. See, it is one of my rules to finish or at least to try and finish any food that I am given or I make. This meal became a contract that I was coerced into finishing. Perhaps I could take the loss, but at $13+ a bowl, my inner frugality wouldn't allow me to. I don't even wish I got the pho anymore as I'm sure it would make me hate my own culture. I'd go as far as to say that eating at McDonald's would be a better experience with even tastier food. I didn't have the heart to tell the waitress that their food tasted worst than packaged ramen. Therefore, if you love them let them go. And I sure as hell don't love them, that's why I'm writing this. However, my brother had the avocado smoothie and I must say, it was quite delicious. I give this place 2 stars, 1 star for their atmosphere and aesthetics and the other because YELP doesn't allow 0. 10/10 - would never come again. read more

Honestly, a decent place. Worthy of a 3 star review due to their pleasant design. Otherwise, it would've been quite decent. The pho noodles are a little stretchier than usual. What threw me off the most though was actually their boba tea. I ordered the Thai Tea with boba and what i got wasnt very pleasant. The Thai Tea tasted like a kid made some chocolate mill with too much chocolate powder. The boba as well isn't very pleasant. The boba might trick you with the soft outer texture but the inside feels like a hard gummy bear you left in the fridge. The boba even floats. !That's not supposed to happen! read more
