I've been looking for a good pho place in the south bay for a while...decided to try with my friend. Got the combo pho #1- pretty good! The difference between the large and small was miniscule- i always order the large but never finish. They give you plenty of beef...I'm usually stuffed at the end. I also order the spring roll...tastes exactly the way it should. The service is pretty good- no assigned tables so different people come by to check on you...attentive but not overwhelming. I wanted to give this place an try since this was one of the few pho places in the area that I haven't been to. A lot of my friends come here but I thought the noodle was a bit too hard but the pho was really good. Although they only put green onions in the soup and no cilantro or onions, which I thought was a bit odd. We also ordered the eggrolls and they were good but a little overpriced since they had couple of shrimps in the eggrolls. Service was meh so I can't really say I would want to come back. The spring rolls are legitical and I like to follow those up with a fried sol fillet - the way they make it so crispy outside and so moist and tender inside is beyond me. We love this place! The food is really good. We've tried quite a few pho places and always come back to this one. Their pho broth is super tasty. We also like the com bo luc luc (I think that's what it's called or shaking beef) is one of our favorites along with crispy noodles. The spring rolls are delicious too. Came here with a party of 3.....ordered and the plates were served late. First my friend got his, then I got my plate 5 minutes later. The service was bad, everything was late, the drinks we only got one refill. To top it off my friend did not got his plate at all, as a compensation they try to give us some free egg rolls in which in reality they were burnt. Horrible experience. read more

My only experience with pho before this was in Orange County's Little Saigon. To me, this tasted similar. I like a sweeter pho. The noodles were slightly different than what i had in Little Saigon, but still tasty. I wasn't impressed with the jasmine tea. Too watered down and not enough jasmine taste for me. This place has a menu that is practically a book. Lots of choices, but that also means it takes longer to figure out what you want. My only two complaints are that 1) parking lot is small and was full when we got there. It meant we had to park on a side street, which worked out fine. And 2) the floor seemed a little bit dirty. Maybe it was because we were there later in the day. I did appreciate that I saw a worker spraying a table with sanitizer before wiping it, rather than just wiping the tables down with a wet rag. It's usually very difficult to find pho restaurants with good services, but this place is an exception. It makes it even more pleasant that their food is pretty good. Great fast service!! Nice selection of the menu, my favorite is the beef stew with egg noodle, side of tendon lol.. Not as greasy as other places. I ordered two #90 (bun thit nuong Dac biet). It come with both egg rolls and shrimp paste wrapped in sugar cane. Both of it was burn. Also for the meat, it was super dry. They have friendly staff, and based on what I've had to eat (mainly pho and a few of their vegetarian options), their food is of excellent quality. Good Vietnamese food with great service. Like most any vietnamese restaurants the service is super fast but I like the fact that they have two tv screens and play music from ktwv :) the servers are always friendly and on top of things. I decided to try the place based on a recommendation. I thought this place was 'average'. Its not bad but its not great. I felt the pho's meat was better than other pho places I've been to, however I felt the soup/noodle was not necessary better tasting. Based on my taste buds, I have to say I would prefer Pho So across the street. Nothing wrong with Pho Consomme at all - I guess it all comes down to preference. Its good Pho for the South Bay area. You can't compare Vietnamese food in the Little Saigon to Vietnamese food in LA. Place is clean, services is quick, & waitress/waiters are friendly. I either get the Pho Ga (Pho chicken) or the Pho Tom (Pho shrimp) small size bowl cause I can never finish the whole bowl. I didn't actually try the Pho because I didn't order myself. My brother ordered the fried rice, fried fish and fried chicken dishes take out. This place came closest to my Mom's tasty fried rice so I'm giving it 4 stars. The fish was great, but the chicken was a bit dry. I didn't get to see the place.
