Great addition to Divis! This spot is owned by the same people who run the banh mi place across the street and the massage place close by. Turns out their pho is pretty solid as well. Really casual spot perfect for a lunch or a quick dinner. I got a large pho ga and thought I would have leftovers but surprised myself and finished the whole thing. The broth was very flavorful and hit the spot on a chilly rainy day. I didn't even have to add hoisin or sriracha. I thought noodles were a bit too thin for my taste, but still very enjoyable. First time trying this place out with a colleague. Loved that they had a couple of veggie options to choose from: pho or a rice plate. My colleague and I both went with the pho, which was so amazingly delicious! I always love to pair mine with lemon and sliced jalapeños. The veggies cooked into the pho were so tender and flavorful with the broth. The noodles also made the overall soup/dish very filling. Considering the busy location and it being a Sat. evening, parking was a bit challenging but I was able to park a block away at a small shopping center for a bit. The restaurant itself was a bit snug inside. One of the waitresses bumped into me when I placed my order up front and didn't even apologize. The man who took our order was cool though. Then another male employee came to our table and asked us if we were done, and he wasn't friendly about it. Well, I'm sad this restaurant replaced my drunk pizza place, but overall it looks like it's an upgrade! Was so excited a pho spot opened on divis, it had been lacking a pho spot!! The workers were so kind and although it was a full house, we waited only 5 min. You order at the front and get your own water. We got the dac biet pho, short rib pho, and grilled mussels. The broth wasn't good but it wasn't amazing, I think it could have a bit more flavor and richness. I love how it came with short rib, which is so fun and usually really expensive. The meat was not bad. The Vietnamese grilled mussels were not bad too, I like that they had it since I don't see it that often in the city. Now, we ordered 2 large combo phos and got very little meat, one meatball cut in half, a few thinly sliced steak pieces and a big bone with little to no meat and gristle. Very disappointing and noticeable change in serving sizes. We will try them again once later on, hopefully the meat will come back and I can fix this review.
