    Chicken Pho
    Lorenzo C.

I really enjoy this place. It's a no frills very authentic Vietnamese spot in the heart of Duboce triangle. The restaurant is very much a family owned/run spot which I enjoy. I gravitate towards their chicken pho but their brisket is also very tasty. Will keep coming back.

Nice local viet spot, I'd go back. Food was overall pretty good, I especially like their nuoc mom, it's punchy and sweet, has the addictive quality and can put it on anything. We had their grilled pork plate & ban xeo. Ban xeo was crispy, pretty tasty. Grilled pork tasted quite nice, the imperial rolls were a little too minced for me but they were also flavorful and well fried.

Been wanting to try this spot for a while since I love pho, and it definitely didn't disappoint. I ordered the bun bo hue because I like my broth with some heat, and they were more than happy to accommodate adding freshly cut Thai chili peppers and extra jalapeños just how I asked. The broth was rich, flavorful, and had the perfect spicy kick. Service was very friendly and quick, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

Good for a quick and casual dinner! We were seated immediately for a table of 6. The combination pho hit the spot on a cold day. It's a good portion too! Service was friendly and sweet.

The food is delicious, great customer service! I have been coming here for a very long time and nothing has changed.

Checked out Jasmine Garden with a party of 6 for prime Monday dinner time! We didn't have to wait at all and were seated super promptly. We got the Jasmine Garden Noodle Soup, the BBQ Pork Noodle Soup, as well as the Hue Noodle Soup. We also got the garlic noodles and imperial rolls. The basic pho was super solid and hearty, the broth was flavorful, and the noodles were cooked perfectly! Highly recommend if you're feeling a pho urge. The BBQ Pork Noodle Soup was also super solid, with a more chicken based broth, with the added bonus of coming with a huge amount of BBQ Pork. Would highly recommend for the value alone! The Garlic Noodles and Imperial Rolls were also really yummy, with the garlic noodles coming out a bit on top. Overall, Jasmine Garden's a super solid viet spot with great pho, service, and atmosphere.

Spring rolls (Goi cuon) with peanut sauce

Being unexpectedly early for a nearby show, I went looking for food. The first restaurant had a long wait, so I wandered around the corner, and found - Jasmine Garden! No wait, a friendly welcome, and quick service. The fresh spring rolls (Goi cuon) come in a sweet double basket, with a delicious rich peanut sauce. It was a nice low-key start to the evening (especially after gnarly drive into city); now I know where to go before the next show. Looking forward to trying more of the tempting menu! A great little place.

Delicious food, serene ambiance and lovely service. We dined at Jasmine Garden early on Saturday night, about 6:30. By 7:15, it was nicely populated by groups of friends, two moms and their four well-behaved kids, couples and a man dining alone. It was a chilly night so we both had delicious, hot bowls of pho. I had spicy Bo Bun Hue ($15.50) and my son, Pho Dac Biet ($14.50) with a deeply flavorful beef broth, noodles and lots of beef and brisket. We loved the Imperial rolls but the hands down favorite dish we ordered was the beef carpaccio appetizer ($13). Thin slices of beef generously plated with sweet onion, peanuts and herbs. We texted a neighbor to see if he wanted take-away and the two dinners he ordered for himself and his girlfriend said were outstanding (he ordered BBQ pork and seafood clay pot). It took us way too long to try this spot. We'll definitely come back again and again!

Adorable small business in the area. Prices are a little steep but the pho tasted great! Clear but flavorful broth, and the employees were very hard working and nice. The restaurant interior is pretty big and clean!

I came here around 8pm on a Thursday night as a group of 3 and was seated right away. Service was great in general, it was fast and the servers came to give us water quite often. I tried their spring rolls and the BBQ pork and imperial rolls vermicelli bowl. The spring rolls came in a cute little basket and was presented so nicely. The vermicelli bowl was delicious and really large! The pork was seasoned well and the imperial rolls were super crunchy! The imperial rolls were lacking flavor just a little bit but with the fish sauce it's perfect. The portion sizes for all their dishes are pretty large so it is great value.

This has always been a reliable neighborhood spot for me since I moved to SF 6 years ago. Not overpriced, great portions, and most of all, the service is amazing! Tonight I went to get the Banh Xeo since I've been craving and as per usual, they didn't disappoint! I wish there was less bean sprouts because it overall made the crepe a bit soggy but the staff told me I can ask for less next time! Can't wait to come back and keep supporting these small businesses!

Ask the Community - Jasmine Garden

I used to go there a lot but now every time I go there it is closed, is it open now?

    Yes open

Are they open for dine in?

Know it's an old question, but in case others are curious like I was they are open now. Excited to eat in the dining room again! Ate there tonight, just as good as it's always been.

Does anyone know if they are open for indoor dining, and are they open for lunch?

Hi Lisa We are open from 5pm to 9pm, close Tuesday but for pick up and delivery only. We have Postmate, DoorDash, ubereat and grub hub. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thank…

Can anyone confirm, are they open?

Yes, they're definitely open. A couple months ago they may have been closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays and only serving 5-9pm or so. Not sure about June.

Will you be open New Years eve?

Sorry We will be closed on New Year's Eve and new year day Thanks…

When will you put back the lamb rack and the garlic salmon super dish?

Sorry Dave. Due to this pandemic we did throw a lot of food away if we don’t use within two days, so with this situation we re only serve BBQ and soup and for lamb and salmon we don’t know if we re going to serve it again. But thanks though, thank…

Hi. Is Jasmine closed right now for vacation? Would appreciate posting on Yelp if the restaurant is closed for summer vacation, thank you.

Yes, we r on vacation until 9/3, reopen on Wednesday 9/4. I did posted on yelp 2 months ago and also inside the restaurant as well.…

Is this place still open? We went about 2 months ago and they said they'd be back in June but we keep seeing "closed" on postmates.

Hi Kimberly Thanks for being a loyal customer, we did closed our restaurant from 4/22 to 6/3/17 that is what we did every two year taking vacation for either 4 or 6 weeks.…

"IT'S QUE VIET!"…read more No Superman here, but let me be your hero for a second because I'm about to put you on to, hands down, **the best Vietnamese food I've ever had**. I actually discovered Que Viet through DoorDash and had everything delivered. I ordered the Deep-Fried Imperial Rolls (Cha Gio), Grilled Chicken & Chicken Imperial Roll Garlic Noodles (Mi Top Ga Nuong Cha Gio Ga), Grilled Pork Sausage Rolls (Nem Cuon), Vietnamese Shrimp Mini Crepes (Banh Xeo Tom), and the Grilled Pork Sausage & Sliced Pork Woven Vermicelli (Banh Hoi Nem & Thit Nuong). Yes... I spent almost **$100 for two people**. Looking back at the receipt, I had to ask myself, *"Is this place expensive, or am I just fat?"* Honestly... probably a little of both. Either way, it was one of the best $100 I've ever spent. If it's your first time ordering from Que Viet, do yourself a favor and get the **garlic noodles**. I know garlic noodles are everywhere these days, but these completely changed my expectations. They were perfectly cooked with an incredible bounce, packed with rich garlicky flavor, and the portion size was generous enough for leftovers (if you have the self-control). I also tried the **Banh Hoi Nem & Thit Nuong** for the first time, and it did not disappoint. One heads-up, though: it's generously topped with crushed peanuts. My friend has a peanut allergy, so thankfully we caught it before digging in. If you have any nut allergies, be sure to mention it when ordering. Every single dish arrived fresh, flavorful, and tasted like it had just come out of the kitchen despite being delivered. That's not something you can say about many places. If you ever find yourself in the city, you **need** to make a stop at Que Viet. This place has been living rent-free in my head ever since, and I already know I'll be back the next chance I get.

Some dishes were better prepared than others, but overall, the food was solid across the board. If you enjoy making your own spring rolls, you'll love the grilled pork skewers. The pork is super tender and has such a incredible flavor profile of lemongrass, garlic, fish sauce, and more. Rolled up with the woven vermicelli noodles and fried wonton crisps in a rice paper, you get a wonderful combination of texture in a single bite. The other crowd favorite of the night was the bánh xèo -- the stuffed rice crepe. The bánh xèo here is by far the best one that I've ever had, even surpassing ones I had in Vietnam. The outside was insanely crispy and and was surprisingly not particularly oily, while the inside was loaded with fillings. Two other dishes that were well received by the group was the betel leaf wrapped grilled beef and the sugar cane shrimp. The beef had a very similar flavor profile as the pork, but the texture was a lot more lean. The shrimp had a bouncy, yet firm texture to it, and was very well-seasoned. My only qualm with the shrimp dish is that the sugarcane did not actually have any sweetness to it. There's fish sauce on the table along with a shrimp paste sauce, but to be honest, every dish we had was so flavorful on its own, the sauces aren't even needed. The only dish that we ordered that fell short was the grilled river shrimp. The presentation of the shrimp is impressive and very photogenic, but the flavor was lacking and the cook was inconsistent. Some people had shrimp that was undercooked -- borderline raw, and on the other end of the spectrum, others had shrimp that was so overcooked, that it was very difficult to remove the shrimp from the shell without completely tearing the meat. That said, everything else we ordered was well-prepared, and very tasty. Service was good throughout the meal, and I would definitely come back again for a meal with a large group. 4.5 experience rounding up to a 5.
